Abstract

La présente invention concerne des étalons protéiques doublement marqués, utiles pour la détermination simultanée de la masse moléculaire d'une protéine sujet ainsi que la masse relative (à savoir, la quantité) de la protéine sujet présente dans une piste d'électrophorèse. L'invention concerne également des procédés appropriés pour la préparation de tels étalons protéiques doublement marqués et des procédés d'utilisation de telles protéines doublement marquées pour déterminer simultanément la masse moléculaire et la quantité relative d'une protéine sujet. Des modes de réalisation supplémentaires permettent d'assurer un suivi fluorescent qui peut être utilisé pour surveiller la progression du front ionique à travers un gel d'électrophorèse. Des modes de réalisation supplémentaires concernent des procédés de fabrication d'un colorant de suivi fluorescent. Cependant, des modes de réalisation supplémentaires concernent des coffrets contenant un colorant de suivi fluorescent et un étalon protéique doublement marqué.
