Definitions
- the invention relates to a mattress for lying and / or sitting, in particular for sitting, lying and / or sleeping furniture according to the preamble of claim 1, 7, 9 or 12 and a method for producing a mattress according to the preamble of claim 15.
- Mattresses of the type discussed here are used to make sleeping, lying and / or sitting more comfortable. Such mattresses are often used as pads for beds, chairs or seats. Aspects of the sleeping environment should also be taken into account by addressing aspects relating to the ventilation of the mattress, in particular the air exchange between mattress parts.
- Mattresses are usually formed from an elastic material, in particular foam plastic. Such mattresses are often formed in one piece, whereby they provide no means to ensure ventilation through the mattress body and thus to ensure a better sleeping environment.
- Mattresses which have horizontal cutouts on their surface and also have cutouts on the opposite surface which extend orthogonally to the cutouts on the opposite side and thereby form vertical channels.
- the transverse horizontal channels on the two opposing tops have a very large depth. As a result, the known mattress is not very stable.
- a mattress for solving this problem has the features of claim 1.
- Each mattress base part for itself has on its top and bottom parallel cutouts. These cutouts are depressions that span the entire mattress width and length. Between the parallel cutouts form elevations or webs. These webs are also parallel to each other and to the cutouts over the entire mattress body. The surfaces of the webs or head surfaces called lie in a plane.
- Each mattress body part has on its top and bottom of this structure of alternating cutouts and webs.
- Horizontal cutouts are also located on the surface of the mattress base body part opposite the horizontal cutouts of the mattress base body part. However, these horizontal cutouts are anti-parallel to the horizontal cutouts on the opposite side of the mattress base body part. These horizontal cutouts are parallel on the top. Also between these horizontal cutouts are formed parallel horizontal webs or webs running along the surface of the mattress main body part, whose surfaces or top surfaces lie in one plane. The parallel, horizontal cutouts on the top and bottom of each mattress body part run anti-parallel to each other, preferably orthogonal.
- the sum of the depths of the horizontal cutouts on the top and bottom of the mattress body parts is equal to the height of the mattress body. This results in extending from the top to the bottom of the mattress base body vertical cutouts. At each intersection of the horizontal channels on the top and bottom of the Matratzengrundkorperteiie arise such vertical cutouts. All the Matratzengrundkorperteiie forming the mattress main body have this structure of the horizontal channels on the top and bottom and the vertical cutouts formed by the horizontal channels.
- the mattress base body parts are now assembled to the mattress main body that the vertical cutouts of Matratzengrundkorperteiie vertical form through the entire mattress body breakthroughs that connect the top and bottom of the mattress main body together.
- the webs which form between the parallel cutouts on the upper and lower sides of the Matatzengrundkorperteiie in such a way that the webs of opposite sides of each Touch mattress body part.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the webs of opposing sides of each mattress base body part are congruent with their top surfaces.
- the webs of opposite sides of each mattress main body part are connected to their top surfaces. The connection can be made by gluing, welding or the like.
- the Matratzengrundkorperteiie maintain the greatest possible stability, it is preferably provided that the sum of the depths of the elongated cutouts on both sides, ie the top and bottom of Matratzengrundkorperteiie is equal to the thickness of Matratzengrundkorperteiie.
- the width of the horizontal, parallel cut-outs should be chosen so as to ensure an optimal compromise between stability and vertical air permeability of the mattress.
- the width of the cutouts and the width of the webs should be similar, but can also differ significantly for special mattress shapes.
- the number of horizontal sections and the The number of horizontal bars should be chosen so as to ensure adequate stability of the mattress.
- a further embodiment of the present invention provides that there is an intermediate layer between the two mattress base body parts.
- This intermediate layer may have a grid of openings and is preferably net-like.
- This preferably net-like intermediate layer or intermediate layer is preferably located between the mattress base body parts in such a way that the intermediate layer rests with its upper and lower sides against the contacting upper and lower sides of the mattress base body parts.
- the net-like intermediate layer is in direct contact with the top surfaces of the horizontal webs of each mattress base body part.
- the net-like intermediate layer preferably has no or only slightly stretchable strands.
- the net-like intermediate layer consists of a plastic.
- the intermediate layer lying between the superimposed mattress main body parts preferably a net-like intermediate layer, extends wholly or partly over the entire area of the contacting surfaces of the mattress main body parts. It is conceivable that due to special structures which may additionally have the mattress, such as stabilizers or extra vents some portions of the touching surfaces of mattress main body parts is not covered with an intermediate layer.
- the addition of a net-like intermediate layer between the contacting surfaces of the mattress base body parts serves to stabilize the entire mattress base body.
- the top surfaces of the webs of a mattress main body part can be provided with an adhesive. Through this adhesive connection creates a firm connection of the two mattress body parts and the intermediate layer, which is so embedded between the mattress body parts.
- the openings of the net-like intermediate layer make up a major part of the area of the intermediate layer.
- the proportion of openings of the intermediate layer is large enough to choose so that the air circulation between the two mattress body parts is not disturbed by the vertical openings.
- Another mattress for solving the above object which may be a preferred embodiment of the mattress described above, has the features of claim 7. Nevertheless, it is envisaged that the sum of the depths of the elongate cutouts on the upper side and the lower side of a mattress main body is equal to its thickness. This ensures by the horizontal cutouts on the top and bottom of the mattress base transverse to each other, preferably orthogonal to each other, the formation of vertical openings and thus optimum air circulation through the entire mattress base and thus a particularly advantageous ventilation of the mattress base.
- the vertical openings or cutouts of the mattress base body are completely or partially closed.
- the vertical openings or cutouts properties of the mattress such as insulation and air permeability can be varied between summer and winter operation. If the vertical cutouts are to be closed individually, it is also possible to subsequently individualize the mattress properties so that, for example, in areas of the mattress in which a person's increased transpiration activity can be expected, greater ventilation can take place.
- the invention also provides that the vertical openings or cutouts of the mattress base body can be completely or partially closed by roman blinds. By partially closing the openings or cutouts, the ventilation and thus the sleeping climate of the mattress can be changed individually.
- a special embodiment of the invention provides that the Roman blinds are assigned manual or driven actuating means, wherein preferably the actuating means are arranged on the top and / or bottom of the mattress base body. With the help of these actuating means the Roman blinds can be moved so that the openings or cutouts are completely or partially closed.
- the vertical openings or cutouts of the mattress base body are fully or partially closed depending on the ambient temperature and / or humidity.
- a shell associated with the mattress body has openings which are movable relative to the vertical openings or cutouts of the mattress main body. It is provided that the shell encloses the Matatzgrundgroper at least partially. Due to the relative movement of the openings of the shell with respect to the openings or cutouts of the mattress main body, the openings or cutouts of the mattress main body can be completely or partially closed. This allows the ventilation of the mattress to dose individually and thus improve the sleeping environment.
- the envelope not only serves to regulate the sleeping environment, but also protects the mattress base body.
- At least a portion of the sheath can be fastened over preferably at the head and / or foot of the mattress main body
- Actuating means is movable relative to the mattress.
- the manual or driven actuating means which may be configured in particular as a winding device, the shell can be moved so that their openings cover the openings or cutouts of the mattress main body in whole or in part.
- a possible embodiment of the invention provides that the sheath has at least two apertured layers and these at least two layers are movable relative to each other such that the openings of the layers of the sheath overlap more or less.
- the envelope may have a shape-memory material in order to completely or partially close or open the opening as a function of the ambient temperature and / or air humidity.
- the mattress is formed from two superimposed mattress main body parts. These two mattress body parts are cut from a mattress body.
- the mattress base body is divided into two mattress base body parts parallel to the upper side of the mattress main body by a preferably meandering cut.
- These mattress base body parts which have horizontal, parallel cutouts as a result of the meander-shaped cut, are likewise provided on their upper side likewise with a meander-shaped cut, which is transverse, preferably orthogonal, to the first cut.
- each mattress base body part whose relative position is orthogonal to each other, form at their crossing points vertical cutouts, which pass through the entire mattress base body part from the top to the bottom.
- the two mattress base body parts that have been cut from the mattress body are rotated so that the vertical cutouts of a mattress main body part together form vertical openings that penetrate the entire mattress main body.
- two mattress base body parts having vertical cutouts are assembled so that the Mattress main body reaches a double height and has vertical openings.
- the surfaces, i. H. the bottom and top of the mattress main body part provided with alternating cutouts and webs that form horizontal, parallel channels on the top and bottom sides of each mattress main body part, which lie on the top and bottom relative to each other in an orthogonal orientation.
- the shape and dimensions of the cutouts or of the webs forming between the cutouts are arbitrary, preferably such that the cross section of the webs increases from the base to the top surface. Due to the meander-shaped cutting into the mattress main body, two mattress base body parts are produced so that they are connected by a toothed meshing of the cutouts and webs. This ensures a very stable connection of the two undivided mattress base body parts and thus prevents slippage or twisting of the two mattress body parts during manufacture.
- the two mattress body parts meshed with each other must be pulled apart. After the two mattress base body parts have been pulled apart, they are rotated and superimposed so that their horizontal webs, at least partially overlap, preferably superimposed congruent.
- a further method step may provide that an intermediate layer having a grid with an opening is placed between the mattress base body parts.
- This intermediate layer is placed on the top surfaces of the horizontal webs, preferably also the webs of the contacting surfaces of the mattress main body parts.
- the method provides that the head surfaces of the webs of the at least one contacting surface of the mattress base body parts are coated with an adhesive to connect the intermediate layer with the mattress base body parts.
- the provided with an adhesive Top surfaces are then joined together with the intermediate layer and the second mattress main body part.
- the entire mattress consisting of the mattress main body parts, brought into contact with the shell, preferably the shell completely surrounds the mattress.

- the lower layer can be moved manually by pulling a traction device, not shown, depending on the condition of the user.
- the sheath 28 can thus be fixed to the mattress base, for example by Velcro, that the outer, upper layer 28 does not move relative to the mattress body.
- Another embodiment, not shown, provides that the layers 29, 30 by the relative movement of the vertical openings 27 and cutouts 24 are completely or partially integrated in the Matatzgrundkorper 11 directly integrated. The opening and closing of the vertical openings 27 or cutouts 24 then takes place as in the case 28 described above.
- the sheath 28 or even the Roman blinds 33 are not made of a conventional material, but of a shape memory material.
- Shape memory materials are, for example, special shape memory alloys, e.g. Bimetallaktoren. Shape memory materials have a particular initial shape that describes a state of minimal internal energy. By deformation of the shape memory material from the initial shape addition, its internal energy increases. Like any physical material, the shape memory material also tends to be in a state of minimum internal energy in the initial state. By external actuators or motors, the shape memory material for a certain time in the desired, deformed state remain. By releasing these external forces, the shape memory material automatically deforms back into its original shape.
- the initial shape describes the state of the completely closed vertical apertures 27 or cutouts 24.
- an external force causes, for example by an actuator, the sheath 28 or the Roman blinds 33 can be brought into a state the vertical openings 27 and cutouts 24 are opened completely or partially.
- the shell 28 and the Roman blinds 33 return to their original shape.
- the open state of the vertical openings 27 or cutouts 24 describes the initial shape of the shell 28 and the Roman blinds 33 and the vertical openings 27 or cutouts 24 can be completely or partially closed by an external force.
