Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Mahlung von Fasern in wässriger Suspension (1), bei dem die Fasern in mehreren Mahlspalten (2) mechanisch beansprucht werden, wobei die Mahlspalte (2) jeweils von zwei relativ zueinander bewegten und gegeneinander positionierten Mahlflächen (3) gebildet werden, von denen zumindest eine Mahlfläche (3) um eine Achse (4) rotiert. Dabei soll die Qualität der Fasern bzw. einer daraus hergestellten Faserstoffbahn möglichst effizient dadurch beeinflusst werden, dass die Drehzahl wenigstens einer rotierenden Mahlfläche (3) in Abhängigkeit von zumindest einem Parameter der aus den Fasern hergestellten Faserstoffbahn und/oder der durchschnittlichen Faserlänge gesteuert wird.
