Abstract

Um eine Schaftwebmaschine mit einer Vielzahl von Schaftrahmen, insbesondere mit einer Wechseleinrichtung für Schussfäden, zu verbessern, wird vorgeschlagen, die Schaftrahmen (4, 6, 8, 10) jeweils mit einem Linearmotor zu verbinden, durch deren Ansteuern die Bewegung des Schaftrahmens (4, 6, 8, 10) von einer oberen Maximalposition zu einer unteren Maximalposition und umgekehrt durchführbar ist. In einem Ausführungsbeispiel weist die Schaftwebmaschine eine Vielzahl von Schussfadenvorlegemittel, z.B. Farbsteuernadeln (18, 20), für das selektive Eintragen von verschiedenen Schussfäden (40, 42) in das Kettfach und das Wechseln der Schussfäden (40, 42) auf. Die Webmaschine umfasst eine Steuerungseinrichtung zum Ansteuern der Linearmotoren, die so ausgebildet ist, dass das Ansteuern einer vorgegeben Position des Schaftrahmens (4, 6, 8, 10) zwischen der oberen Maximalposition und der unteren Maximalposition zu einem vorgegebenen Zeitpunkt ermöglicht wird. Dabei weist die Steuerungseinrichtung eine Sensoreinrichtung aufweist, mittels derer die Position jeder der Schaftrahmen (4, 6, 8, 10) fortlaufend ermittelbar ist.
