Definitions
- the invention relates to a cycle press, in particular short-cycle press, for the production and / or coating of plate-shaped materials, in particular wood-based panels, with a press frame with several in the press longitudinal direction lined press frame and with an upper press plate and a lower press plate, wherein the upper press plate or lower press plate is loaded with pressing cylinders, which are supported on the press frame.
- the press plates are designed as heatable press plates and consequently hot plates.
- the press cylinders which are also referred to as cylinder piston arrangements, are generally arranged in a plurality of rows arranged one behind the other in the press longitudinal direction, each row having a plurality of cylinder piston arrangements.
- the pressing cylinders are preferably designed as hydraulic cylinders.
- Such a press which is also referred to as Amsterdamtagenpresse, works in cycles, ie the starting material is cyclically introduced into the press (between the upper press plate and lower press plate) and the press opens and closes intermittently.
- the press frame forming press frame are z. B. made of sheet steel blanks in window construction and consequently formed with frame windows. Cycle presses of the type described above are known in various embodiments (cf., for example, DE 199 37 694 B4 or DE 101 22 967 A1). So describes z. B.
- the press eleven in the press longitudinal direction arranged one behind the other rows of Presszyl indians, each row of turn four pressing cylinders composed.
- a constant problem is the inspection or maintenance of the individual components of the cycle press. This applies in particular to the press cylinder. For example, for maintenance work on the cylinder interior, it was generally necessary to completely remove the press cylinders from the press. Since such measures are relatively complex and can lead to a long standstill of the entire press, alternative solutions have been proposed in which the piston with built-in cylinder can be removed from the cylinder housing (see DE 10 2004 033 484 B3).
- the invention has for its object to provide a cycle press, in particular short-cycle press for the production and / or coating of plate-shaped materials, in particular wood-based panels, which is constructed easy to install and maintain even with a design for high compression pressures.
- the invention teaches in a generic cycle of the type described above that between piston and
- Press plate insulation plates are arranged, wherein the insulation plates are inserted according to the invention in cassette holders.
- a plurality of cassette holders are connected to one another via longitudinal connections to form a multiple cassette frame.
- the invention is based in this first aspect of the invention on the recognition that the replacement of the insulation panels, which form wearing parts, can be considerably simplified, so that the maintenance can be minimized and thus costs can be reduced.
- Particularly advantageous is the fact that after the separation of the piston from the heating plate a plurality of insulation plates can be removed together and brought back, with the help of the described cassette frame.
- the cassette frame can be pulled out of the press after releasing the connections on the face side and also be introduced into the press again on the face side. This considerably simplifies the replacement of the insulation panels, even taking into account the potentially very small free installation space.
- This has the advantage that the press can be designed overall for high pressing forces. In such a case, for example, working with pressing cylinders with large weight and large diameter and high wall thickness.
- the size of the press cylinder naturally influences the free space.
- the optimization of the insulation panel replacement according to the invention makes it possible to create a total of a press that can be designed for high compression pressures.
- the press cylinders are - as explained - arranged in a plurality of rows arranged in the press longitudinal direction one behind the other, so that these rows themselves extend transversely to the press longitudinal direction.
- the individual cylinders arranged in succession press cylinders thus form the "columns" of the press cylinder matrix.
- the heating plate is attached to the piston arranged between two adjacent cylinders mounting plates which engage positively in fastening grooves of the piston or a piston extension and clamped against the press plate.
- the upper press plate is fastened to the piston with these fixing plates. Accordingly, the attachment of the pistons is no longer carried out in an expensive manner by means of intermediately connected fastening elements, but the attachment plates are arranged between two adjacent cylinders and they otherwise serve for the simultaneous attachment of a plurality of pistons, namely at least two adjacent pistons of a row of cylinders.
- Cassette frame for the insulation boards the advantage that the fastening strip can be pulled out of the press end and inserted into the press, so that even here, in a reduced installation space, an easy assembly and disassembly is possible.
- This refinement with the fastening plates and fixing strips according to the invention also optimizes the maintenance work with reduced installation space, so that a press with design for high compression pressures can be realized.
- the attachment plates or strips are preferably by means of clamping elements, for. B. clamping screws or clamping bolts are not screwed directly into the heating plate, but with the interposition of spacers, these spacers are in turn secured with fastening screws to the heating plates.
- clamping screws or clamping bolts are not screwed directly into the heating plate, but with the interposition of spacers, these spacers are in turn secured with fastening screws to the heating plates.
- the invention proposes that one or more centering plates are attached to the upper or lower press plate,
- the invention is based on the recognition that with the help of such centering optimal positioning and guidance of the press plates can be realized both in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction. This succeeds in a structurally very simple way.
- the press can work in this way with high precision. This is particularly advantageous when using the press high-quality decors, z. As in the production of laminate panels, are applied and at the same time a "congruent" embossment is introduced.
- a third aspect of the invention it is proposed that locking clips are fastened to the cylinder housings, which together with a groove in the cylinder piston form an arresting receptacle, into which a locking means, for example, for securing the piston in a retracted position.
- B. a Arret istsstange is inserted.
- the invention is based on the fact that in the course of maintenance and installation work, it is regularly necessary to fix the pistons in the retracted position on the cylinder housing. So far, it has been customary to install in individual cases separate brackets or clamps. In particular, when the press is to be designed for high compression pressures and thereby reduces the available free space, the known measures are expensive.
- the locking brackets fastened to the cylinder housings can now remain permanently mounted on the cylinder housing since they themselves do not influence or obstruct the movement of the piston. Because the brackets themselves do not engage in the grooves in the piston.
- the positive connection between the clamp and piston is realized by an additional Arret istsstange, which engages on the one hand in the groove of the piston and on the other hand in the Arret michsklammer or is under the handles and thus produces the positive connection.
- the locking clips preferably have a locking leg, which engages under the rod in the locked state of the piston. This leg is dimensioned so that it does not hinder the movement of the piston.
- the cylinders are placed in the frame windows under the press frame. It is therefore within the scope of the invention that the cylinders themselves do not engage with their cylinder housings in the space between the press frame. This embodiment is particularly useful when the cylinders are designed for very high pressing forces.
- the invention relates to a press which is designed for a specific pressure of more than 600 N / cm 2, more preferably 700 N / cm 2 and more.
- the press has at least two hydraulic tanks which are not centered on the press frame, but are preferably arranged in lateral areas of the press and consequently laterally offset from the vertical center plane of the press
- Such an embodiment has the advantage over a conventional embodiment with a central hydraulic tank that the space above the cylinder is freely accessible, so that the pressing cylinders can be removed altogether upwards out of the press frame.
- This can, for example, with already existing hoists, z. B. a hall crane or overhead crane done.
- a special lifting device is placed on the press frame or mounted in the press.
- the hydraulic tanks are not particularly preferably placed directly on the press frame, but on connecting bolts or rods which connect the press frame with each other.
- the individual press frame are connected to each other with extending in the press longitudinal direction connecting bolt or rods.
- the hydraulic tanks can be placed with suitable tank carriers, so that a relief of the individual frame plates ensures and damage is avoided.
- the press is preferably designed as a multi-piston press. This means that the individual press cylinder rows not only have only two press cylinders, but at least three, more preferably at least four press cylinders. In the press longitudinal direction z. B. ten rows of press
- Cylinders or more can be arranged one behind the other.
- Such a multi-piston press with 40 press cylinders or more permits variable adaptation of the press to plate formats to be pressed differently.
- the many press cylinders can also be controlled differently.
- a plurality of independently adjustable hydraulic systems or pressing systems can be implemented, for. B. six independently adjustable pressing systems or more.
- a short-cycle press is created, which is designed for particularly high compression pressures of 700 N / cm 2 and more.
- the press is especially for the short-cycle coating of wood-based panels with z. B. decorative papers suitable.
- This short-cycle coating is used, for example, in the production of laminate flooring, wall panels, furniture or doors.
- the press according to the invention is designed as an upper-piston press, ie the pressing cylinder work on the upper heating plate, while the lower heating plate (stationary) rests on the lower crossbars of the press frame.
- the press cylinders are usually designed as a single-acting hydraulic cylinder, which can be applied only in one direction pressing forces. To open the press additional return cylinders are usually provided.
- the press cylinder as a double-acting hydraulic cylinder, z. B. differential cylinder, form, so that then possibly can be dispensed with retraction cylinder.
- the invention naturally also includes sub-piston presses in which the press cylinders operate on the lower press plate.

- This short-cycle press has in its basic structure a press frame 1, which is composed of several in the press longitudinal direction R successively lined press frame 2.
- the press longitudinal direction R corresponds to the working direction and consequently the loading direction and emptying direction of the press.
- the press frame 2 are made in the embodiment of sheet steel blanks, and
- the individual press frame 2 each have a frame window 3, which is bounded above by the upper cross member 2a and below the lower cross member 2b.
- the individual press frame 2 are connected to each other with connecting rods 4, which are oriented in Pressenlteils- direction. Between the frame 2 spacer tubes are attached to the connecting rods 4.
- the press has an upper press plate 5 and a lower press plate 6. These press plates 5, 6 are designed as heated press plates and consequently heating plates.
- the press is equipped in a plurality of press cylinders 7, which are formed in the embodiment as a single-acting hydraulic cylinder 7.
- Each press cylinder 7 has, on the one hand, a cylinder housing 8 and, on the other hand, a cylinder piston 9.
- the press is designed as an upper piston press, ie the press cylinder 7 are connected with its cylinder piston 9 to the (movable) upper press plate 5, while the lower press plate 6 substantially stationary on the lower crossbars 2b of the press frame 2 auflie.
- the press cylinders 7 are set in the frame window 3 and placed under the upper cross members 2a of the press frame 2, ie they are based in the course of application of the pressing force with their upper front ends on the upper cross bars 2a of the press frame from (see Fig. 3 to 5). 3 to 5, that each Presszyl indians 7 and whose cylinder housing 8 is supported on two adjacent press frame.
- the pressing cylinder 7 or its cylinder housing 8 in at least one direction to a diameter which is greater than the inner distance of two adjacent press frame. It can be seen from FIG. 4, by the way, that the cylinder housings are partially “flattened", ie the diameter in one direction is smaller than the diameter in the other direction (perpendicular thereto) and in particular the diameter in one direction is less than the inner distance between two adjacent press frames, so that the cylinders - starting from the

- the press cylinder 7 or its cylinder housing 8 are connected by means of clamping screws 12 with the frame bolt 10, so that the press cylinder 7 by means of the clamping screws 12 and the frame bolt 10 are biased against the press frame 2.
- a comparative analysis of FIG. 3 to 5 shows, moreover, that each press cylinder 7 is fastened with two frame bolts 10, wherein each frame bolt 10 is in turn assigned two clamping screws 12.
- the recesses 1 1 are formed in the embodiment as an oval or long-hole-like recesses, which have a greater extent in the vertical direction than in the horizontal direction.
- the frame bolts 10 are provided on the end with diameter reductions 13, which are formed in the embodiment as bevels.
- This embodiment with the chamfers 13 on the one hand and the slot-like recesses 1 1 on the other hand has the consequence that the frame bolts 10 between the respective press frame 2 by suitable tilting and / or twisting can be removed.
- a particularly firm fixation of the press cylinder 7 on the press frame 2 and on the other hand the system can be easily disassembled, so that the press cylinder can be removed for maintenance purposes up between the press frame 2 from the press.
- the frame bolts 10 are formed in the embodiment as a solid bolt.
- the length of the bolts corresponds to the outer distance of two adjacent
- the frame bolts 10 are bolted to the clamping screws 12 with the interposition of Kraftverteilplatten 14. These ensure a perfect support surface of the nuts or clamping screws on the frame bolt 1 0, which have a round cross-section in the embodiment.
- FIG. 1 shows that two hydraulic tanks 15 are provided, which are arranged above the press frame 1, not centrally above the press, but laterally offset and consequently in the side areas. In the end view shown in Fig. 1, the hydraulic tank 15 are therefore not directly on the Presszyl indern 7, but laterally offset to the Presszyl indern arranged. Incidentally, it can be seen that the hydraulic tanks 15 are not placed directly on the press frame 2, but rather that the hydraulic tanks 15 are mounted with tank supports 16 on the connecting rods 4 or fastened thereto.

- the mounting plates 17 are by means of clamping screws 19 with the interposition of spring elements 20, z. B. plate spring assemblies, clamped against the press plate 5.
- the attachment of the piston 9 is therefore no longer in a complex manner by means of intermediate fasteners, but the mounting plates 17 are arranged between adjacent cylinders and they are otherwise the simultaneous attachment of several pistons 9, namely two adjacent pistons.
- This allows easy assembly and disassembly, even if the cylinder 7 and its pistons are particularly large to achieve very high compression pressures.
- the fact that a plurality of mounting plates 17 for the common fastening of the press plate 5 at several press longitudinally successively arranged piston 9 are combined to form a common fastening strip 17 ', said this fastening strip 17' in the press longitudinal direction R along several Press cylinder 7 extends.
- FIG. 7 shows that a fastening strip 17 'extends over five rows of cylinders in the press longitudinal direction, so that a total of ten pistons are fastened to the press plate 5 together with a fastening strip 17'.
- This refinement has the particular advantage that the fastening strip 17 'can be pulled out of the press as a whole on the face side and inserted into the press, so that simple assembly and disassembly is possible, especially with reduced installation space.
- Fig. 6 shows
- FIGS. 6 and 7 show that not only the heating plate attachment, but also the fastening or replacement of the piston isolations in the press according to the invention is optimized.
- no longer conventional insulation plates are individually screwed to the piston ends, but the insulation plates 23 are inserted into cassette receptacles 24, said cassette receptacles 24 are in turn connected via longitudinal connections 25 to form a multi-cassette frame 24, 25.
- the insulation is therefore not attached to the end face of the piston 9, but they are placed in the course of assembly in a suitable manner on top of the upper press plate 5 and then in the course of attachment of the piston 9 at the Pressing plate 5 clamped between the piston end and press plate.
- centering plates 26 are provided, which also engage in fastening grooves 18. These centering plates 26 are also fastened with fastening screws 27 on the press plates 5. These centering plates 26 serve for optimum positioning of the press plate 5 both in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction. This is evident, in particular, from FIG. 7, for there it can be seen that, in each case, two centering plates 26 are provided for the positioning in the transverse direction on the one hand and for the positioning in the longitudinal direction on the other hand.
- FIG. 6 shows that the pressure cylinders 7 are fastened to the cylinder housings 8 on the underside or end locking clamps 28. These locking clips 28 serve to lock the pistons 9 in the retracted position or else in another position. This lock is required in order to expand the entire cylinder, ie cylinder housing 8 together with cylinder piston 9 after releasing the hot plate from the press without the piston falling down out of the cylinder housing.
- the locking clips 28 can remain "permanently" mounted on the cylinder housing is particularly advantageous, and for the purpose of locking, it is therefore not necessary to mount the clips themselves, but it is only necessary to insert a push-in rod 29 which It is also interesting to note that this push-in rod 29 can be inserted into the press on the face side, so that several pistons 9 are arranged behind one another or else in the form of a positive fit in the locking clip 28 as well as in an (additional) groove 30 in the piston or in a piston extension all pistons along the press longitudinal direction can be secured together with a push-in rod 29.
- the press is additionally equipped with retraction cylinders 31.
- the pressing cylinder 7 itself are formed in the embodiment as a single-acting cylinder, with which only pressing forces are applied.
- the return cylinder 31 are used.
- Figs. 9a, b and c show, moreover, that with this press, as a multi-piston press with z. B. forty press cylinders is equipped to produce or coat wood panels of various formats. Even with very different plate formats can be easily pressed by suitable selection of the press cylinder, the plates.
- heating plates of very high quality and very high surface quality are preferably used.
- the heating plates can have a carrying percentage of 97% to 100%.
- the press cylinders are torque capable attached to the press frame. The regulation of the press cylinders takes place via proportional valves.
