Definitions
- the invention relates to a panel sizing, comprising a workpiece support surface, a saw unit, which is preferably arranged below the workinggeschlitzes and movably mounted along the workinggeschlitzes, with a circular saw blade, which is preferably rotatably mounted on the saw unit below the workpiece support surface and projects in a sawing through the shegeschlitz ,
- a first problem with such panel sizing saws is that the operation of such panel sizing saws, on the one hand, involves the risk of operator injuries to the clamping surfaces or the circular saw blade when operating the saw, for example when positioning a workpiece in the region of the saw kerf.
- the operation by preventive security measures often in their sequence consuming and thus time-consuming, which adversely affects the efficiency of working with such panel sizing.
- the invention has for its object to propose a panel sizing, which allows for increased safety a more efficient operation.
- panel sizing saws can reliably clamp a workpiece by means of a pressure beam extending in the longitudinal direction of the kerf, the rapid succession of saw cuts on multiple workpieces and the clamping of very small workpieces but is not achieved by these panel sizing in a satisfactory manner.
- the invention has for its object to provide a Plattenaufteilsä- GE, which allows for the processing of multiple workpieces and the processing of smaller workpieces a more efficient operation.
- Another problem encountered with such panel sizing saws is that shielding of the saw blade is desirable to prevent the escape of sawdust and to prevent injury, but such shielding often obstructs and delays the operations of the panel sizing saw.
- a panel sizing saw of the prior art can often not achieve reliable shielding if a workpiece extends only over a portion of the kerf, but another portion of the kerf is not covered by the workpiece.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a panel sizing saw which provides a screen which works efficiently for the operations of the sawing operations and which can ensure occupational safety in a better manner than heretofore.
- a panel sizing saw of the type described in the introduction is proposed, which is characterized by a signal control unit and a signaling device coupled to this control unit, which is arranged on a stop or in the region of or above the workpiece support surface, and characterized in that the signal control unit controls the signal control unit
- Lighting device is designed in such a way that the lighting device is activated in response to the implementation of a running on the panel sizing saw processing step.
- an advantageous signal control unit and a light-emitting device coupled thereto are proposed.
- This lighting device is arranged in the region of a stop, on a stop or in the region above the workpiece support surface or in the region of the workpiece support surface and is thus located directly in a region observed by the user.
- This arrangement has the advantage over other signaling devices, such as illuminated operation buttons or control lamps in the range of actuators, that the user recognizes the signaling in such an area, in which there is also a risk or relevant for the operation of the panel sizing process information.
- the inventive arrangement of the luminaire tion on the one hand enables a hazard situation to be signaled to the user by a lighting device by means of clamping operations or by sawing operations directly in the area of the action taking place, that is in the area of the circular saw blade or in the region of a tensioning element.
- a simplification of operation can be achieved by the lighting device signals processing operations, for example.

In principle, the lighting device can emit its light directly or indirectly.
- the lighting device comprises a plurality of lighting means, which are arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the kerf.
- These bulbs can be designed as a light bar, for example.
- the arrangement of the bulbs next to each other is advantageous in order to signal positions or areas that are located on or along the kerf with the bulbs. In this case, lamps of different colors can be provided in connection with the preferred embodiment explained above.
- lamps of different colors can in turn be arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the kerf, but can also be arranged such that two or more lamps of different colors are arranged at a position with respect to this longitudinal direction of the kerf and such double or multiple arrangements of lamps of different colors then are again arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the kerf in the lighting device.

- This individual vertical displaceability of the blades 150 ensures that the area above the kerf is reliably sealed even when one or more workpieces protrude from the side into the area above the kerf and consequently the lower edges of the blades 150 facing the workpiece bearing surface for complete coverage and securing the danger area must be at different heights, namely on the one hand on the upper surface of the workpiece, on the other hand on the workpiece support surface. 4
- the pointing to the workpiece support surfaces ends of the slats are chamfered, rounded or chamfered, on the one hand to allow easy movement of the workpieces with lowered slat curtain 150 and on the other hand to allow injury-free extraction of limbs, when the slats rest on such limb dimensions.
- the individual displacement of the slats prevents in one such a case that the lamellar curtain causes injury to limbs.
- FIG. 8 and 9 an alternative embodiment of the slatted curtain is shown.
- This alternative embodiment is characterized in that the slatted curtain can additionally fulfill the function of a compressed air supply in the space above the kerf.
- the slats 550 shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 are, like the slats 150 described above, arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the saw slit or the U-shaped carrier profile for the slatted curtain.
- a tongue and groove connection 555 is formed, which connects the slats form-fitting manner with each other and thus connects to a self-contained wall to each other.
- this tongue-and-groove connection effects a guidance of two adjacent lamellas relative to one another and allows the individual vertical displacement of each lamella 550 relative to its adjacent louvers 550.
- each blade In the interior of each blade is formed from the upper end downwardly extending blind hole 551.
- This blind hole 551 extends to just before the lower end side of the blade.
- a horizontal and inwardly to the saw slot facing hole 552 is connected to the blind hole 551 at the lower end.
- a guide tube 553 is guided.
- the guide tube 553 is connected at its upper end with a bar 554 which is fixed to the U-shaped upper beam profile 140 for the slatted curtain.
- a compressed air distribution line is arranged, which distributes compressed air to each of the plurality of tubes 553.
- the tubes 553 forward this compressed air in the blind hole 551, from which the compressed air in turn can escape through the horizontal bore 552 inwardly towards the SAgeschlitzes.
- the compressed air then causes after its exit a transport of chips in the area around the kerf and thus improves the suction effect.
- the tubes 553 can be acted upon at the same time with compressed air, alternatively, the compressed air can be supplied only to individual selected tubes 553 or groups of tubes 553 by appropriate valves in the compressed air supply.
- This selective compressed air supply is coupled to a control device such control technology that, for example, only such slats Compressed air are applied, which are arranged in front of and behind the current position of the saw blade, thereby further improving the suction effect.
- the upper carrier profile 180 further receives a plurality of pneumatic cylinders 160, which serve as a clamping cylinder for clamping a workpiece.
- the pneumatic cylinders 160 are arranged at irregular intervals next to each other along the upper carrier profile 180. They form, starting from the right end in Figures 1 and 6 and 7 first a double group 160a, b, then a triple group 160c, d, e, followed by a single cylinder 160f, a triple group 160g-i, a single cylinder 160j, a double group 160k, I and another double group 160m, n.
- the pneumatic cylinders 160a-n are disposed within the upper beam profile 180 and the cylinder rod of the pneumatic cylinders 160a-n extends downwardly from this upper beam profile.
- two guide rods 162, 163 are formed, by means of which the retraction and extension movement of the pneumatic cylinder 160a-n additionally guided and the cylinder rod 161 is protected from bending forces.
- the cylinder rod 161 and the two guide rods 162, 163 are coupled by means of an adapter plate 164 with a U-shaped clamping runner 170a-n at its lower end.
- the U-shaped clamping runner comprises an upper crosspiece 171 and two lateral legs 172, 173 extending downwardly in the direction of the workpiece support surface 4 from this crosspiece 171.
- the U-shaped clamping runners 170a-n are arranged within the space formed by the double-sided slatted blinds and form a recess 300 between them.
- the lower ends 172a, 173a of the lateral legs 172, 173 of each clamping runner form clamping surfaces, which serve to clamp a workpiece onto the workpiece support surface 4.
- the pneumatic cylinder 160a-n is extended, and pressurized until a sufficient clamping force is achieved.
- a lower carrier profile 190 is arranged above the recess 300, which extends from the front side fasteners 2, 3 and serves to stiffen the entire safety bridge.
- Each clamping runner 170a-n can be lowered or raised individually by the respectively associated pneumatic cylinder 160a-n.
- the pneumatic cylinders 160a-n can be controlled by a control unit, which is signal-technically coupled to a graphical user interface. Using this graphic user interface, each pneumatic cylinder can be individually controlled by the user in order to carry out a clamping process by means of this pneumatic cylinder.
- control unit for the clamping process.
- This automatic selection is based, on the one hand, on a multiplicity of sensors which are arranged along the lower carrier profile and can detect the presence of a workpiece in the region of each clamping runner.
- the control unit may then selectively drive those pneumatic cylinders 160a-n which actuate a chock in whose area a workpiece has been detected.
- the control unit is provided with an interface via which a machining sequence program can be loaded.
- this machining sequence program starting from an initial size of a workpiece, several processing steps for a blank are stored. From these data, the respective size of the workpiece is stored before and after each cutting process and also the position at which the workpiece is positioned for the implementation of the next saw cut and is stretched. From this workflow program can then also be carried out in an automated manner, the clamping process via individually selected clamping runners.
- the lateral legs 172, 173 are only spaced apart from each other so as to define a recess 300 of a width therebetween sufficient to allow the circular saw blade to have a miter angle of slightly more than 45 ° and a depth of cut equal to the maximum depth of cut of the Panel saw corresponds to pick up.
- This thus achieved minimum width of the recess 300 leads to an effective extraction of chips from the recess 300, since compared to the prior art, the recess is not provided in such a width, which for receiving the circular saw blade in a two-sided pivoting of slightly more than 45 ° would be necessary.
- the recess 300 can be laterally transversely to the direction of extension of the kerf by translational displacement of the upper and lower beam profile with the attached components of the slatted curtain and the clamping runners be moved horizontally, thereby to be brought into a position which allows the inclusion of the saw blade.
- a negative pressure is generated on the one hand in a cavity 55 produced by the cover 51.
- This negative pressure may optionally be applied to a plurality of suction slots arranged longitudinally along the upper beam profile 180.
- the selective loading of these longitudinal slots on the upper support profile 180 is controlled by two pneumatic cylinders 70a, 70b, which are each mechanically coupled to a slide 80a, 80b for the suction air duct. By displacing this slide 80a or 80b by means of these pneumatic cylinders 70a, 70b, one or more suction slots can optionally be opened or closed in order to achieve a local suction effect on the recess 300.
- the actuation of the pneumatic cylinders 70a, 70b is effected by a control unit, which is in particular signal-coupled with a sensor which detects and transmits the position of the saw blade along the kerf.
- a control unit which is in particular signal-coupled with a sensor which detects and transmits the position of the saw blade along the kerf.
- a light signal strip 210 which extends over the entire length of the kerf.
- a plurality of LEDs are arranged side by side, which can be activated individually.
- LEDs with any number of different colors, z. B. red, green, blue in the light bar 210.
- the light bar 210 is attached to the cover 51.
- the LEDs of the light bar 210 serve for various functions.
- a direct and effective illumination of the working area is achieved by this light bar, thereby facilitating the positioning and assessment of the workpieces to the user.
- a white light is summarily achieved by driving all the LEDs and causes a good illumination of the area above the sawing slit.
- the light strip 210 is further connected to a control unit, which can also individually control the LEDs for signaling work processes and workflows.
- a control unit which can also individually control the LEDs for signaling work processes and workflows.
- the user can be shown the area in which a workpiece is to be placed above the kerf by activating individual LEDs. This can be done, for example, by illuminating the respective end-side LEDs of the intended workpiece support area or by lighting all the LEDs, which are above the area in which the workpiece is to be placed.
- This function of the position display can be done in particular by controlling the green LEDs, thereby achieving not only the position effect but also a function signaling.
- the LEDs may be used in a third functionality to indicate to the user in which areas a clamping operation of the workpieces is or will occur.
- the blue LEDs in the respective areas around a Spannkufe which is activated or should be activated, light up.

It should be understood that the position of the saw blade or the saw blades is displayed in particular only when the saw blades protrude beyond the workpiece support surface, thereby achieving an actual hazard warning.
- FIG. 10 shows a second embodiment of the safety bridge according to the invention.
- This second embodiment is characterized in that the entire structural unit made of lower carrier profile and the structural elements attached thereto can be displaced vertically on the workpiece supporting surface by a substantially greater distance. is gert.
- a lowered position is shown, in which the slats of the slat shield 150a 150a rest on the workpiece support surface. In this lowest position in particular plate materials can be processed and sawn.
