Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation d'épuration des eaux usées utilisant le procédé des boues activées et comprenant au moins un bassin d'aération (1) suivi d'au moins un bassin de décantation secondaire (2). L'invention vise à maintenir l'efficacité de l'épuration au niveau le plus élevé possible pendant le plus longtemps possible. A cet effet, au moins une partie du mélange eau-boues (6) évacué du bassin d'aération (1) et/ou au moins une partie du mélange eau-boues (6) évacué du bassin de décantation secondaire (2) passe au moins par moments par un dispositif de décarbonatation (3).
