Abstract
Eine Synchronmaschine (1) weist einen mit einem hochtemperatursupraleitenden Material (7) ausgerüsteten Läufer auf, wobei eine Polpaarzahl p des Läufers (2) änderbar ist durch eine Änderung einer in dem hochtemperatursupraleitenden Material (7) eingefrorenen Magnetisierung. Bei einem Verfahren wird dazu zunächst das hochtemperatursupraleitende Material (7) über seine Sprungtemperatur erwärmt, dann an das hochtemperatursupraleitende Material (7) ein Magnetfelds zur Ausprägung einer Magnetisierung angelegt, die zur Erzeugung eines 2p-poligen Magnetfelds mit einer geänderten Polpaarzahl p geeignet ist und folgend das hochtemperatursupraleitende Material (7) auf eine Temperatur unterhalb seiner Sprungtemperatur bei angelegtem Magnetfeld abgekühlt. Die Erfindung ist besonders vorteilhaft einsetzbar für Maschinen mit hohem Drehmoment, Windkraftanlagen, getriebelose Schiffsantriebe, Industrieantriebe, Schiffsgeneratoren, Kraftwerksgeneratoren und Hochgeschwindigkeitsmaschinen.
