Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un dispositif d'éclairage permettant d'induire la synthèse de la vitamine D dans le corps, lequel dispositif d'éclairage permet d'empêcher les maladies dues à une carence en vitamine D en induisant la synthèse de la vitamine D dans le corps y compris sans exposition à la lumière du soleil ou sans consommation de vitamine D, au moyen d'une irradiation de rayonnements ultraviolets à l'intérieur, ledit dispositif d'éclairage étant conçu de manière à minimiser les dommages causés au corps en raison de l'irradiation des rayonnements ultraviolets, ce qui permet de la sorte d'obtenir une utilisation sûre par un utilisateur, et de manière à se présenter sous la forme d'un dispositif de lampe classique en vue d'être installé dans des espaces où des lampes existantes sont installées sans requérir d'espace d'installation distinct.
