Abstract

L'invention concerne une pompe à engrenages pour la circulation d'un fluide, qui présente une roue dentée montée rotative et munie d'une denture extérieure ainsi qu'une couronne dentée à denture intérieure, une pluralité d'espaces de refoulement étant formés par engrènement, ainsi qu'un conduit d'amenée côté aspiration et un conduit d'évacuation côté pression, une zone d'étanchéité étant formée entre le conduit d'amenée et le conduit d'évacuation. Selon l'invention, une ouverture est ménagée dans la zone d'étanchéité du côté où les espaces de refoulement diminuent lors de la rotation de la roue dentée et de la couronne dentée. L'invention concerne également un procédé de circulation de fluide dans un système d'injection haute pression, caractérisé en ce qu'il prévoit un premier chemin hydraulique, menant d'un conduit d'évacuation, côté pression, de la pompe à engrenages à un accumulateur haute pression en passant par une pompe haute pression, et un deuxième chemin hydraulique, menant de l'ouverture, côté pression, de la pompe à engrenages à l'accumulateur haute pression en passant par une soupape d'aspiration et un cylindre de pompe de la pompe haute pression. Dans un mode de fonctionnement standard dans lequel la pompe à engrenages exécute le prérefoulement du fluide vers la pompe haute pression, le fluide est amené à l'accumulateur haute pression par le premier chemin hydraulique et le deuxième chemin hydraulique et, dans un mode de démarrage pour l'établissement momentané d'une haute pression dans l'accumulateur haute pression, le fluide n'est amené à l'accumulateur haute pression que par le deuxième chemin hydraulique, la quantité de fluide quittant la pompe à engrenages par le premier chemin hydraulique étant simultanément réintroduite dans le conduit d'amenée de la pompe à engrenages par le biais d'un chemin de dérivation.
