Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (120) zur Kontrolle eines Volumens einer Probe (4), wobei die Vorrichtung eine Pipette (1) umfasst, in der zwischen der Probe (4) und einem an die Probe (4) angrenzenden ersten Fluid (6) eine Grenzfläche ausgebildet ist, die außerhalb der Pipette (1) als im Wesentlichen horizontal verlaufende Grenzlinie (4a) zwischen der Probe (4) und dem ersten Fluid (6) optisch wahrnehmbar ist. Weiter umfasst die Vorrichtung eine Kamera (10) mit einer Markierung (15), die in einem Bildfeld der Kamera (10) derart angeordnet ist, dass auf einem aufgenommenen Bild (12) die Grenzlinie (4a) und die Markierung (15) abgebildet werden können. Schließlich umfasst die Vorrichtung (120) eine Auswerteeinrichtung (101), mit der auswertbar ist, ob in dem aufgenommenen Bild die Markierung (15) auf Höhe der Grenzlinie (4a) liegt.
