Definitions
- Random access initiation Random access initiation, notification method for random access resources, and primary base station
- the present invention relates to the field of mobile communications, and in particular, to a notification method for random access initiation, a notification method for random access resources, a notification method for data transmission resources, and a primary base station.
- Background technique
- Carrier Aggregation (MAC) technology has been introduced in mobile communication systems, for example, Long Term Evolution (LTE) systems.
- Carrier aggregation means that User Equipment (UE) can use multiple Component Carriers (CCs) for uplink and downlink communication to support higher-speed data transmission.
- the carrier aggregation can be divided into intra-base station cell aggregation, inter-base station cell aggregation, and the like.
- carrier aggregation e.g., cell aggregation between base stations
- eNB evolved Node B
- a physical downlink control channel (hysical downlink) is sent to the UE through a cell (cell) under the eNB.
- the control channel (referred to as PDCCH) command (PDCCH order) notifies the UE to trigger a non-contention random access (RA) to re-enter the uplink synchronization state, and then sends downlink data to the UE.
- PDCCH physical downlink control channel
- RA non-contention random access
- the component carriers used by the UE in the carrier aggregation of the eNB are controlled by different base stations, and for the cells of each base station participating in the carrier aggregation, one cell is configured to transmit the PDCCH order. Therefore, when the UE is in an uplink out-of-synchronization state on all cells configured by the eNB to the UE, the UE needs to monitor the PDCCH order on the cell configured by the eNB. Therefore, in the carrier aggregation mode of the inter-eNB, when there is downlink data to be transmitted and the UE is in an uplink out-of-synchronization state, the UE needs to simultaneously monitor the PDCCH order on one of the configured cells on each eNB, so it is necessary to monitor a large number of cells. This causes unnecessary power consumption.
- the uplink data In the carrier aggregation mode of the eNB, if the UE is in the uplink out-of-synchronization state on all the Ce1s of an eNB, the uplink data needs to be sent to the eNB, and the UE first queries the logical channel where the uplink data is located. Under the corresponding eNB, all the Ce lls configured for itself; one cell selected in these Ce lls, the contention RA is initiated to re-enter the uplink synchronization state; and the uplink data is sent to the eNB again.
- the uplink data needs to be sent, and the UE initiates the contention RA to obtain the uplink resource through a specific Cell, and sends the uplink data to the eNB. .
- the preamble sequence (message) in the message 1 (msgl) is selected by the UE itself, and there may be other UEs transmitting the same preamble sequence code at the same time, thereby Cause conflicts. Therefore, the above scheme will lead to too many RAs in the competition, resulting in an increased probability of RA collisions and unnecessary consumption of system resources. - the primary base station indicates to the user equipment or the secondary base station to initiate random access by using the second notification message, or sends a resource for performing random access, or allocates resources for transmitting data to implement transmission of downlink data or uplink data, thereby avoiding
- the user equipment monitors the physical downlink control channel command PDCCH order on each base station eNB participating in the aggregated carrier, or prevents the user equipment from initiating a random access of the competition. In each subframe of the LTE system, it is necessary to ensure that data transmitted by all UEs of the same cell arrive at the eNB at the same time, otherwise interference will be caused.
- each UE must maintain an Uplinking Timing (TA) with the eNB. If TA is valid, the UE can transmit uplink data. If the TA is invalid, the UE cannot transmit uplink data. Whether the TA is valid or not is controlled by a timer (Timeal Aignity t imer, TAT for short). Each time the eNB sends a TA time adjustment, the TAT is started. The UE receives the TA time adjustment command and also starts the TAT. In this way, the UE and the eNB can determine whether the TA is valid by whether the TAT times out. If the TA is still valid, the UE is in an uplink synchronization state under the cell of the eNB; if the TA is invalid, the UE is in an uplink out-of-synchronization state in the cell of the eNB.
