Abstract

Um einen Faden (4, 5) zum Herstellen von Geweben (2) für Insektenschutzgitter (1), umfassend einen Kern, wobei der Kern eine Beschichtung (11) aufweist, die wärmeaktivierbare Klebemittel zum stoffschlüssigen Verbinden mit sich selbst oder anderen Fäden des Gewebes (2) umfasst, und wobei der Kern einen höheren Schmelzpunkt als die Klebemittel aufweist, ein Gewebe (2) für Insektenschutzgitter (1) mit einer Maschenwebstruktur (7), umfassend an Knotenpunkten (6) miteinander mittels Klebemitteln verbundene Kettfäden (4) und Schussfäden (5), ein Insektenschutzgitter (1), umfassend einen Rahmen (3) und ein mittels des Rahmens (3) aufgespanntes Gewebe (2), und ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Geweben (2) für Insektenschutzgitter (1), umfassend die Schritte a) Bereitstellen von Fäden (4, 5) als Kettfäden (4) und Schussfäden (5), b) Weben eines Gewebes (2) mittels der Kettfäden (4) und Schussfäden (5) und c) Erhitzen des Gewebes (2) auf eine Temperatur, die höher als der Schmelzpunkt der Klebemittel und geringer als der Schmelzpunkt des Kerns ist, zum Generieren von stoffschlüssigen Verbindungen zwischen den Kettfäden (4) und den Schussfäden (5) an ihren Knotenpunkten (6), anzugeben, der besonders effizient zu einem unsichtbaren Gewebe (2) für Insektenschutzgitter (1) verarbeitbar ist, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Beschichtung (11) hydrophobe Abstoßmittel umfasst.
