Description

적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치
본 발명은 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 적층이 가능하도록 단위셀을 구성하여, 적층수 증가에 의한 단위 시간당 처리용량 증대시킬 수 있는 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치에 관한 것이다.
액상 탈염은, 증발, 분리막, CDi(Capacitive Deionization), FCDi(Flow Capacitive Deionization)와 같이 다양한 방법으로 진행 될 수 있다.
상기 기술 중에서, CDi 공정이 에너지효율이 가장 높은 기술로 알려져 있으며, FCDi의 경우 연속공정과 활물질 코팅이 불필요한 공정으로 탈염 분야에 신기술로 평가되고 있다.
특히, 상기 FCDi는 흡착된 이온을 별도의 용기에 저장시 에너지 저장 또한 동시에 할 수 있기 때문에 탈염 뿐만 아니라 에너지 저장 분야에 활용 가능한 기술로 평가되고 있다.
또한, 상기 구성에 따른 모듈은 탈염과 공정과 반대 운전으로 밧데리 기능을 수행할 수 있다.
상기 특성으로, 본 발명자들은 특허를 출원한 바 있다(대한민국 특허 출원번호 1020100078543호, 국제특허 출원번호 PCT/KR2011/006010호). 상기 발명에서는, 용량 확대를 위해서 상기 독립셀 다수를 병렬연결에 의한 구성을 제시하고 있다.
상기 구성으로 용량 확대시, 단일 FCDi 장치에 2가지 전극활물질과 전해질 입출구 연결 튜브들이 각각 설치되어야 하기 때문에 용량 확장시 전체 시스템 구성이 복잡하고, 부피가 증가되는 문제점이 있다.
상술한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 안출된 본 발명의 목적은, 단위셀을 적층화한 FCDi 구성시 적층수량과 무관하게 전극물질과 전해질은 각각 단일 입출구로 공급과 배출이 진행되고, 구성 플레이트에 존재하는 홀의 연결에 의하여 유통홀을 구성하는 컴팩트하게 모듈화된 단위셀의 구성을 제공한다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은, FCDi 공정에 있어서, 단위셀 적층 수 증가에 의한 단위 시간당 처리용량 확대모듈 제공에 있다.
상기 구성에 따라서, 단위셀 다수를 반복하여 용량을 확대하여도, 음극, 양극, 전해질 입축구 수량은 단위셀과 동일하게 각기 단위 연결 튜브구성이 되기 때문에, 기존 단위셀의 병렬연결에 의한 용량 확대에 비해서, 비용과 공간 측면에서 경쟁력을 가질 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치는, 양극활물질이 이동하고 양극활물질공급로와 양극활물질전달로와 양극활물질배출로로 이루어지는 양극활물질유로와, 음극활물질이 이동하고 음극활물질공급로와 음극활물질전달로와 음극활물질배출로로 이루어지는 음극활물질유로와, 전해질이 이동하고 전해질공급로와 전해질전달로와 전해질배출로로 이루어지는 전해질유로를 가지고, 상기 양극활물질전달로와 상기 전해질전달로는 음이온분리막에 의해 접하고, 상기 음극활물질전달로와 상기 전해질전달로는 양이온분리막에 의해 접하며, 상기 양극활물질공급로와 상기 양극활물질배출로와 상기 음극활물질공급로와 음극활물질배출로와 전해질공급로와 전해질배출로는 서로 격리되는 하나 이상이 적층되는 단위셀; 적층되는 단위셀의 최상측에 배치되는 상판; 및 적층되는 단위셀의 최하측에 배치되는 하판을 포함하고, 상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 양극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 양극관이 설치되며, 상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 음극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 음극관이 설치되고, 상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 전해질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 전해질관이 설치되며, 상기 양극활물질유로에는 양극단자가 연결되고, 상기 음극활물질유로에는 음극단자가 연결된다.
이 때, 상기 단위셀은, 상측을 향해 노출되는 일측음극채널을 가지는 일측음극전달판과, 상기 일측음극전달판 위에 적층되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막에 적층되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 위에 적층되는 음이온분리막과, 상기 음이온분리막 위에 적층되고 하측을 향해 노출되는 일측양극채널을 가지는 일측양극전달판을 가질 수 있다. 또, 상기 단위셀은, 양측을 향해 노출되는 양측양극채널을 가지는 양측양극전달판과, 상기 양측양극전달판 아래에 부착되는 음이온분리막과, 상기 음이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 아래에 부착되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 양측음극채널을 가지는 양측음극전달판과, 상기 양측음극전달판 아래에 배치되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 아래에 배치되는 음이온 분리막을 가질 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 일측음극전달판과 상기 양이온분리막과 상기 전해질전달판과 상기 음이온분리막과 상기 일측양근전달판은 각각 제1양극홀, 제2양극홀, 제1음극홀, 제2음극홀, 제1전해질홀, 제2전해질홀이 서로 격리되도록 형성되고, 상기 제1양극홀과 상기 제2양극홀은 상기 일측양극채널에 의해 연통되고, 상기 제1음극홀과 상기 제2음극홀은 상기 일측음극채널에 의해 연통되며, 상기 제1전해질홀과 상기 제2전해질홀은 전해질채널에 의해 연통되며, 상기 제1양극홀 또는 상기 제2양극홀 중 어느 하나에는 상기 양극단자가 전기적으로 연결되며, 상기 제1음극홀 또는 상기 제2음극홀 중 어느 하나에는 음극단자가 전기적으로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 단위셀 스텍화 구성으로 용량이 확대된 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치를 제공할 수 있다.
따라서, FCDi 용량 확대를 위해서 독립된 단위셀 병렬연결 구성에 비해서 컴팩트한 모듈을 제공한다. 이로 인하여 대용량의 탈염, 폐수처리, 에너지 저장, 에너지 생산 장치의 상용화에 기여할 수 있는 것으로 기대된다.

이하, 본 발명을 바람직한 실시예를 첨부한 도면을 참조하여 설명하기로 한다. 하기의 각 도면의 구성 요소들에 참조 부호를 부가함에 있어서, 동일한 구성 요소들에 한해서는 비록 다른 도면상에 표시되더라도 가능한 한 동일한 부호를 가지도록 하며, 본 발명의 요지를 불필요하게 흐릴 수 있다고 판단되는 공지 기능 및 구성에 대한 상세한 설명은 생략한다.
본 발명은 단위셀 반복에 의한 용량이 확대된 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치의 구성방법을 제공한다.
먼저, 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(FCDi : Flow Capacitive Deionization)(1)는 본 발명인이 대한민국 특허 출원번호 1020100078543호에서 새롭게 제시한 것으로 종래의 CDI(축전식탈염법, Capacitive Deionization)기술의 고정전극을 유동전극으로 변경하여 고농도로 농축할 수 있는 방법이다.
상기 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(1)는 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 양극집전체(11)와 양극분리막(13) 사이에 형성된 양극유로(14) 사이로 흐르는 양극활물질(12)을 가지는 유동상 양극(10)과, 음극집전체(21)와 음극분리막(23) 사이에 형성된 음극유로(24)를 흐르는 음극활물질(22)을 가지는 유동상 음극(20)을 포함하여 이루어지며, 상기 양극분리막(13)과 상기 음극분리막(23) 사이에 형성되는 전해질유로(34)에 전해질(30)이 흐르는 것에 의해 상기 전해질(30)으로부터 이온이 이동하여 전해액은 농축될 수 있다.
상기 양극집전체(11), 상기 음극집전체(21), 상기 양극분리막(13), 및 상기 음극분리막은 종래 유동상 전극 시스템(전지, 축전지 등)에 사용되어 오고 있는 것들이라면 어느 것이나 다 사용가능하며, 당해 기술분야에 속하는 통상의 전문가가 그 사용목적 및 조건에 따라 적절하게 선택하여 사용할 수 있다.
상기 양극활물질(12)과 상기 음극활물질(22) 등의 전극물질은 다공성 탄소(활성탄, 카본파이버, 탄소에어로젤, 탄소나노튜브 등), 흑연분말, 금속산화물 분말 등이 사용될 수 있으며, 전해질과 혼합되어 유동화된 상태로 사용될 수 있다. 양극활물질 및 음극활물질은 서로 다른 물질이 사용될 수도 있지만, 동일한 물질이 사용될 수도 있다.
상기 양극유로(14) 및 상기 음극유로(24)의 폭은 종래 유동상 전극 시스템에서 전극집전체와 분리막 사이의 간격 또는 그 이하로 형성할 수 있다. 이는 종래에는 전극활물질이 고정되어 있어 충방전에 필요한 활물질의 용량을 확보하고자 할 때에는 유동상 전극 시스템의 크기가 커지는 문제점이 있어, 활물질이 충진되는 전극집전체와 분리막 사이의 간격에 제한이 있었으나, 상기 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(1)에서는 전극활물질을 지속적으로 공급할 수 있으므로, 이러한 제한 없이 사용 목적이나 사용되는 활물질, 전해질 등에 따라 자유롭게 설계 변경할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의하면 상기 양극유로(14) 및 상기 음극유로(24)의 폭은 수십 ㎛에서 수㎜ 크기로 사용될 수 있다. 마찬가지로, 상기 전해질유로(34)의 폭도 마찬가지로 전해질이 지속적으로 공급될 수 있으므로, 유동상 전극 시스템의 크기로 인한 제한 없이 적절하게 설계 변경할 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 양극분리막(13)과 상기 음극분리막(23)은 미세공 절연 분리막이거나 이온교환(전도)막일 수 있다. 상기 양극분리막(13)과 상기 음극분리막(23)은 전기물리적 분리를 위해 설치되는 것으로 미세공 절연 분리막(separator)은 이온 이동만이 가능하고, 상기 이온교환(전도)막은 양이온(cation) 또는 음이온(anion)만을 선택적으로 이동시킬 수 있다.
따라서, 예를 들어, 전해질(30)로써 농축수를 도시되지 않은 공급수단을 통해 전위차가 발생된 유동화 전극시스템(1)의 상기 전해질유로(34)에 통과시키면, 탈염(탈이온화)되어 농축수 속의 전해질이 상기 양극유로(14) 및상기 음극유로(24)로 이동분리되므로 담수화가 이루어질 수 있다. 따라서, 기존의 증발법이나 역삼투압(RO)법에 비해 매우 낮은 에너지 비용만으로 수처리가 가능하며, 대용량화가 가능하다.
이러한 작동원리를 바탕으로, 본 발명에 따른 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100,102,104,106,108)에 대하여 설명한다.
도 1에서 도면부호 100은 본 발명의 실시예 1에 따른 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치를 지시한다.
상기 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)는 크게 상판(110)과 하판(170), 그리고 상기 상판(110)과 상기 하판(170)의 사이에 개재되는 단위셀(101)을 포함한다.
상기 상판(110)과 상기 하판(170)에는 양극, 음극 활물질, 전해질의 공급홀 및 배출홀이 각각 배치된다. 즉, 상기 양극 활물질, 음극 활물질, 전해질의 이동방향은 필요에 따라 변경될 수 있다. 또, 상기 공급 및 배출홀은 상판 또는 하판 일측에 모두 배치하거나 분산 배치될 수 있다.
다만, 실시예 1의 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)에서는 설명의 편이를 위해 전해질과 양극 활물질은 상판(110)으로 공급되고 하판(170)으로 배출되며, 음극 활물질은 하판(170)으로 공급되고 상판(110)으로 배출된다. 따라서, 상기 상판(110)에는 상부양극관(111), 상부전해질관(115), 상부음극관(114)이 형성되며, 하판(170)에는 하부양극관(176), 하부전해질관(172), 하부음극관(173)이 형성된다.
상기 단위셀(101)은 양극전달판(120)과, 음극전달판(160)과, 양극전달판(120)과 음극전달판(160)의 사이에서 전해질이 이동하는 전해질전달판(140)을 가진다. 또, 상기 단위셀(101)은, 상기 양극전달판(120)과 상기 전해질전달판(140) 사이에는 양극 활물질과 전해질의 직접 접촉을 방지하는 음이온분리막(130)을 가진다. 그리고, 상기 전해질전달판(140)과 상기 음극전달판(160) 사이에는 각각 음극 활물질과 전해질의 직접 접촉을 방지하는 양이온분리막(150)을 가진다.
상기 양극전달판(120)과 상기 음극전달판(150)은 도전성 금속으로 제작하거나 또는 비도전성 물질로 구성시 활물질이 이동되는 유로의 표면을 도전성 물질을 코팅하여 활물질에 전원을 공급할 수 있도록 구성되어야 한다. 또, 상기 전해질전달판(140)은 비 도전성 물질로 구성하거나, 도전성 물질로 구성시 전해질과 접촉되는 부분을 비 도전성 물질로 코팅하여 음극과 양극의 통전을 방지하여야 한다.
상기 양극전달판(120), 상기 음이온분리막(130), 상기 전해질전달판(140), 상기 양이온분리막(150), 및 상기 음극전달판(160)의 각각에는 제1양극홀(121,131,141,151,161), 제2양극홀(126,136,146,156,166), 제1전해질홀(122,132,142,152,162), 제2전해질홀(125,135,145,155,165), 제1음극홀(123,133,143,153,163), 및 제2음극홀(124,134,144,154,164)이 서로 격리되도록 형성된다. 상기 제1양극홀(121,131,141,151,161), 상기 제2양극홀(126,136,146,156,166), 상기 제1전해질홀(122,132,142,152,162), 상기 제2전해질홀(125,135,145,155,165), 상기 제1음극홀(123,133,143,153,163), 및 상기 제2음극홀(124,134,144,154,164)은 각각이 상기 양극전달판(120), 상기 음이온분리막(130), 상기 전해질전달판(140), 상기 양이온분리막(150), 및 상기 음극전달판(160)에서 동일한 위치에 형성되어, 상기 양극전달판(120), 상기 음이온분리막(130), 상기 전해질전달판(140), 상기 양이온분리막(150), 및 상기 음극전달판(160)을 적층한 경우에 하나의 관체을 이루게 된다. 또, 상기 상부양극관(111), 상기 상부전해질관(115), 상기 상부음극관(114), 상기 하부양극관(176), 상기 하부전해질관(172), 상기 하부음극관(173) 역시 상기 관체와 연통될 수 있는 위치에 형성된다.
상기 양극전달판(120)의 하부에는 상기 제1양극홀(121)과 상기 제2양극홀(126)을 서로 연통시키는 일측양극채널(127)이 형성된다. 상기 일측양극채널(127)은 도 3 및 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이, 아래를 향하여 노출되도록 형성된다. 그리고, 상기 제1양극홀(121) 또는 상기 제2양극홀(126) 중 어느 하나에는 전원의 양극과 전기적으로 연결되는 양극단자(128)가 설치된다.
상기 양이온분리막(130)은, 술폰산기(SO3-), 카르복실기(COO-), 인산기(PO4-) 등이 존재하는 고분자 막과 상기 음이온분리막(150)은 음이온을 교환할 수 있는 1,2,3,4급 암모늄기가 붙어있는 고분자 막 재질로 이루어진다.
상기 음극전달판(160)의 상부에는 상기 제1음극홀(123)과 상기 제2음극홀(124)을 서로 연통시키는 일측음극채널(167)이 형성된다. 상기 일측음극채널(167)은 도 7 도 8에 도시된 바와 같이, 위를 향하여 노출되도록 형성된다. 그리고, 상기 제1음극홀(123) 또는 상기 제2음극홀(124) 중 어느 하나에는 전원의 양극과 전기적으로 연결되는 음극단자(168)가 설치된다.
그리고, 상기 전해질전달판(130)에서는 내부로 전해질이 흐르면서 상기 음이온분리막(130)과 상기 양이온분리막(150)에 각각 전해질이 접촉할 수 있도록 상기 제1전해질홀(132)와 제2전해질홀(134)을 서로 연통시키는 전해질채널(147)이 관통하여 형성된다.
상기 일측양극채널(127), 상기 전해질채널(147), 상기 일측음극채널(167)의 형상의 제한은 없으며, 이온과의 접촉면적을 넓히기 위해 다양한 형상(예를 들어, 망상구조)으로 변경이 가능하다.
실시예 1에서 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)은 기본적으로 상술한 바와 같이 구성된다. 따라서, 양극전달판(120)과, 음이온분리막(130), 전해질전달판(140), 양이온분리막(150), 및 음극전달판(160)을 적층하고, 그 상부와 하부에 상판(110)과 하판(170)을 접합시키는 것에 의해 도 9에 도시된 바와 같은 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)가 완성된다. 이하, 상기 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)의 작동모습에 대해 설명한다.
상술한 바와 같이, 양극활물질, 음극활물질, 전해질의 유입과 배출은 상판(110)에 형성된 상부양극관(111), 상부전해질관(115), 상부음극관(114)과, 하판(170)에 형성된 하부양극관(176), 하부전해질관(172), 하부음극관(173)에서 선택되어 이루어질 수 있다. 다만, 설명을 위한 일예로써, 양극활물질은 상부양극관(111)으로 공급되어 하부양극관(176)으로 배출되고, 전해질은 상부전해질관(115)으로 공급되어 하부전해질관(172)으로 배출되며, 음극활물질은 하부음극관(173)으로 공급되어 상부음극관(114)으로 배출되는 것으로 한다.
먼저, 양극활물질은 상부양극관(111)으로 공급되어 양극전달판(120), 음이온분리막(130), 전해질전달판(140), 양이온분리막(150), 음극전달판(160)에 각각 형성되는 제1양극홀(121,131,141,151,161)이 서로 적층되어 형성하는 양극활물질공급로로 진행된다. 그리고, 상기 양극전달판(120)에서 양극활물질전달로인 일측양극채널(127)을 지나 제2양극홀(126,136,146,156,166)이 서로 적층되어 형성하는 양극활물질배출로를 지나서, 상기 하판(170)의 하부양극관(176)을 통해 배출된다.
음극활물질은 하부양극관(173)으로 공급되어 양극전달판(120), 음이온분리막(130), 전해질전달판(140), 양이온분리막(150), 음극전달판(160)에 각각 형성되는 제2음극홀(124,134,144,154,164)이 서로 적층되어 형성하는 음극활물질공급로로 진행된다.
그리고, 상기 음극전달판(160)에서 양극활물질전달로인 일측음극채널(167)을 지나 제1음극홀(123,133,143,153,163)이 서로 적층되어 형성하는 음극활물질배출로를 지나서, 상기 상판(110)의 상부음극관(114)을 통해 배출된다.
전해질은 상부전해질관(115)으로 공급되어 양극전달판(120), 음이온분리막(130), 전해질전달판(140), 양이온분리막(150), 음극전달판(160)에 각각 형성되는 제2전해질홀(125,135,145,155,165)이 서로 적층되어 형성하는 전해질공급로로 진행된다.
그리고, 상기 전해질전달판(140)에서 양극활물질전달로인 전해질채널(147)을 지나 제1전해질홀(122,132,142,152,162)이 서로 적층되어 형성하는 전해질배출로를 지나서, 상기 하판(170)의 하부전해질관(172)을 통해 배출된다.
이 때, 양극활물질 및 음극활물질에 직류전원을 공급하면 전극과 같은 역할을 하게 되므로, 상기 전해질채널(147)을 지나는 전해질 중 음이온은 음이온분리막(130)을 통해 상기 일측양극채널(127)로 유입되고, 상기 전해질채널(147)을 지나는 전해질 중 양이온은 양이온분리막(150)을 통해 일측음극채널(167)로 유입된다.
다음으로, 실시예 2에 따른 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(102)에 대해 설명한다. 상기 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(102)는 실시예 1의 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)에서 단위셀(101)을 복수개 적층한 것으로, 도 11에 도시된 바와 같다.
상기 단위셀(101)을 적층하는 경우, 양극활물질공급로 및 양극활물질배출로, 음극활물질공급로 및 음극활물질배출로, 전해질공급로 및 전해질배출로의 길이가 늘어날 뿐이며, 모든 작동원리는 실시예 1과 동일한다. 따라서, 상기 단위셀(101)을 복수개 적층하는 것만으로, 간단하게 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(102)의 처리능력을 배가시킬 수 있다.
다음으로, 실시예 3에 따른 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(104)에 대해 설명한다. 상기 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(104)는 실시예 1의 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)에 비해 단위셀(105)에 사용되는 구성요소의 수를 감축하기 위한 것이다. 즉, 실시예 1의 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)에서는 인접하는 단위셀(101)에서, 상측의 단위셀의 음극전달판의 하측의 단위셀의 양극전달판은 서로 격리되어 있다. 이와 달리, 실시예 3의 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(104)에서는 양극전달판(190)과 음극전달판(180)에 각각 양측으로 노출되는 양측양극채널(197) 및 양측음극채널(187)을 설치하는 것에 의해, 단위셀(105)을 적층하면, 하나의 양극전달판(190)에 대하여 그 상측과 하측에 음이온분리막(130)이 배치될 수 있고, 마찬가지로 하나의 음극전달판(180)에 대하여 그 상측과 하측에 양이온분리막(150)이 배치될 수 있다. 따라서, 전극 단위면적당 분리막 면적은 2배로 확대시킬 수 있으므로, 단위셀(105)의 전체적인 높이를 줄일 수 있다.
이러한 단위셀(105)은 도 12에 도시된 바와 같이, 양극전달판(190), 음이온분리막(130), 전해질전달판(140), 양이온분리막(150), 음극전달판(180), 양이온전달판(150), 전해질전달판(140), 음이온분리막(130)으로 구성될 수 있다.
다음으로 실시예 4에 따른 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(106)에 대해 설명한다. 실시예 4의 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(106)는 실시예 3의 단위셀(105)을 복수개 적층한 것으로 모든 작동원리는 실시예 3과 동일하다. 상기 단위셀(105)을 적층하는 경우, 양극활물질공급로 및 양극활물질배출로, 음극활물질공급로 및 음극활물질배출로, 전해질공급로 및 전해질배출로의 길이가 늘어날 수 있다. 따라서, 상기 단위셀(105)을 복수개 적층하는 것만으로, 간단하게 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(106)의 처리능력을 배가시킬 수 있다.
다음으로, 실시예 5에 따른 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(108)을 설명한다. 상기 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(108)은 도 20에 도시된 바와 같이, 상판(200)과 하판(210) 중 일측에만 관체를 연결한 것으로, 복수의 탈이온화장치를 이용하여 시스템을 구성하는 경우 설계상의 편의를 제공할 수 있다. 상기 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(108)는 상판(200)에 양극활물질, 전해질, 음극활물질의 공급 및 배출을 위한 제1,2양극관(201,206), 제1,2음극관(173,174), 제1,2전해질관(204,205)가 형성되고, 하판(200)은 단순한 판재이다. 따라서, 상기 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(108)은 실시예 1의 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치(100)에 비하여 배관을 일측에만 배치할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
상기와 같이, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 참조하여 설명하였지만 해당 기술 분야의 숙련된 당업자라면 하기의 특허청구범위에 기재된 본 발명의 사상 및 영역으로부터 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 본 발명을 다양하게 수정 및 변경시킬 수 있음을 이해할 수 있을 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 양극활물질이 이동하고 양극활물질공급로와 양극활물질전달로와 양극활물질배출로로 이루어지는 양극활물질유로와, 음극활물질이 이동하고 음극활물질공급로와 음극활물질전달로와 음극활물질배출로로 이루어지는 음극활물질유로와, 전해질이 이동하고 전해질공급로와 전해질전달로와 전해질배출로로 이루어지는 전해질유로를 가지고, 상기 양극활물질전달로와 상기 전해질전달로는 음이온분리막에 의해 접하고, 상기 음극활물질전달로와 상기 전해질전달로는 양이온분리막에 의해 접하며, 상기 양극활물질공급로와 상기 양극활물질배출로와 상기 음극활물질공급로와 음극활물질배출로와 전해질공급로와 전해질배출로는 서로 격리되는 하나 이상이 적층되는 단위셀;
    적층되는 단위셀의 최상측에 배치되는 상판; 및
    적층되는 단위셀의 최하측에 배치되는 하판을 포함하고,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 양극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 양극관이 설치되며,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 음극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 음극관이 설치되고,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 전해질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 전해질관이 설치되며,
    상기 양극활물질유로에는 양극단자가 연결되고, 상기 음극활물질유로에는 음극단자가 연결되는 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단위셀은, 상측을 향해 노출되는 일측음극채널을 가지는 일측음극전달판과, 상기 일측음극전달판 위에 적층되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막에 적층되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 위에 적층되는 음이온분리막과, 상기 음이온분리막 위에 적층되고 하측을 향해 노출되는 일측양극채널을 가지는 일측양극전달판을 가지고,
    상기 일측음극전달판과 상기 양이온분리막과 상기 전해질전달판과 상기 음이온분리막과 상기 일측양근전달판은 각각 제1양극홀, 제2양극홀, 제1음극홀, 제2음극홀, 제1전해질홀, 제2전해질홀이 서로 격리되도록 형성되고, 상기 제1양극홀과 상기 제2양극홀은 상기 일측양극채널에 의해 연통되고, 상기 제1음극홀과 상기 제2음극홀은 상기 일측음극채널에 의해 연통되며, 상기 제1전해질홀과 상기 제2전해질홀은 전해질채널에 의해 연통되며,
    상기 제1양극홀 또는 상기 제2양극홀 중 어느 하나에는 상기 양극단자가 전기적으로 연결되며,
    상기 제1음극홀 또는 상기 제2음극홀 중 어느 하나에는 음극단자가 전기적으로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단위셀은, 양측을 향해 노출되는 양측양극채널을 가지는 양측양극전달판과, 상기 양측양극전달판 아래에 부착되는 음이온분리막과, 상기 음이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 아래에 부착되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 양측음극채널을 가지는 양측음극전달판과, 상기 양측음극전달판 아래에 배치되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 아래에 배치되는 음이온 분리막을 가지고,
    상기 일측음극전달판과 상기 양이온분리막과 상기 전해질전달판과 상기 음이온분리막과 상기 일측양근전달판은 각각 제1양극홀, 제2양극홀, 제1음극홀, 제2음극홀, 제1전해질홀, 제2전해질홀이 서로 격리되도록 형성되고, 상기 제1양극홀과 상기 제2양극홀은 상기 일측양극채널에 의해 연통되고, 상기 제1음극홀과 상기 제2음극홀은 상기 일측음극채널에 의해 연통되며, 상기 제1전해질홀과 상기 제2전해질홀은 전해질채널에 의해 연통되며,
    상기 제1양극홀 또는 상기 제2양극홀 중 어느 하나에는 양극단자와 전기적으로 연결되며,
    상기 제1음극홀 또는 상기 제2음극홀 중 어느 하나에는 음극단자와 전기적으로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치.
  4. 상측을 향해 노출되는 일측음극채널을 가지는 일측음극전달판과, 상기 일측음극전달판 위에 적층되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막에 적층되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 위에 적층되는 음이온분리막과, 상기 음이온분리막 위에 적층되고 하측을 향해 노출되는 일측양극채널을 가지는 일측양극전달판을 가지고 하나 이상이 적층되는 단위셀;
    적층되는 단위셀의 최상측에 배치되는 상판; 및
    적층되는 단위셀의 최하측에 배치되는 하판을 포함하고,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 양극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 양극관이 설치되며,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 음극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 음극관이 설치되고,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 전해질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 전해질관이 설치되며,
    상기 일측음극전달판과 상기 양이온분리막과 상기 전해질전달판과 상기 음이온분리막과 상기 일측양근전달판은 각각 제1양극홀, 제2양극홀, 제1음극홀, 제2음극홀, 제1전해질홀, 제2전해질홀이 서로 격리되도록 형성되고, 상기 제1양극홀과 상기 제2양극홀은 상기 일측양극채널에 의해 연통되고, 상기 제1음극홀과 상기 제2음극홀은 상기 일측음극채널에 의해 연통되며, 상기 제1전해질홀과 상기 제2전해질홀은 전해질채널에 의해 연통되고,
    상기 제1양극홀 또는 상기 제2양극홀 중 어느 하나에는 양극단자와 전기적으로 연결되며,
    상기 제1음극홀 또는 상기 제2음극홀 중 어느 하나에는 음극단자와 전기적으로 연결되는 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치.
  5. 양측을 향해 노출되는 양측양극채널을 가지는 양측양극전달판과, 상기 양측양극전달판 아래에 부착되는 음이온분리막과, 상기 음이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 아래에 부착되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 양측음극채널을 가지는 양측음극전달판과, 상기 양측음극전달판 아래에 배치되는 양이온분리막과, 상기 양이온분리막 아래에 부착되고 양측을 향해 노출되는 전해질채널을 가지는 전해질전달판과, 상기 전해질전달판 아래에 배치되는 음이온 분리막을 가지고 하나 이상이 적층되는 단위셀;
    적층되는 단위셀의 최상측에 배치되는 상판; 및
    적층되는 단위셀의 최하측에 배치되는 하판을 포함하고,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 양극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 양극관이 설치되며,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 음극활물질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 음극관이 설치되고,
    상기 상판과 상기 하판 중 어느 일방 또는 양방에는 전해질유로의 양단에 각각 연결되는 한쌍의 전해질관이 설치되며,
    상기 일측음극전달판과 상기 양이온분리막과 상기 전해질전달판과 상기 음이온분리막과 상기 일측양근전달판은 각각 제1양극홀, 제2양극홀, 제1음극홀, 제2음극홀, 제1전해질홀, 제2전해질홀이 서로 격리되도록 형성되고, 상기 제1양극홀과 상기 제2양극홀은 상기 일측양극채널에 의해 연통되고, 상기 제1음극홀과 상기 제2음극홀은 상기 일측음극채널에 의해 연통되며, 상기 제1전해질홀과 상기 제2전해질홀은 전해질채널에 의해 연통되고,
    상기 제1양극홀 또는 상기 제2양극홀 중 어느 하나에는 양극단자와 전기적으로 연결되며,
    상기 제1음극홀 또는 상기 제2음극홀 중 어느 하나에는 음극단자와 전기적으로 연결되는 적층형 유동상 축전식 탈이온화장치.
