Abstract

La présente invention a trait à une signalisation de niveau élevé de paramètres d'adaptation conçue pour faciliter la reconstitution d'une vidéo décodée et/ou servant à la reconstitution d'une vidéo décodée. Dans un mode de réalisation, un procédé peut consister à acheminer de manière sélective des paramètres d'adaptation dans un flux de données vidéo à l'aide d'un procédé de signalisation sélectionné dans un groupe qui comprend : (i) l'introduction des paramètres d'adaptation dans un en-tête de tranche ; et (ii) l'introduction des paramètres d'adaptation dans une unité de couche d'abstraction de réseau (NAL) dédiée. Le procédé peut consister à signaler la sélection du procédé de signalisation avec un drapeau qui est introduit dans l'en-tête de tranche afin d'indiquer si les paramètres d'adaptation peuvent être obtenus à partir de l'unité NAL dédiée, ou qui est inclus dans un en-tête de tranche actuelle. Lorsqu'une première valeur est attribuée au drapeau, ce dernier peut indiquer que les paramètres d'adaptation peuvent être récupérés ou obtenus à partir de l'unité NAL dédiée. Lorsqu'une seconde valeur est attribuée audit drapeau, ce dernier peut indiquer que les paramètres d'adaptation peuvent être récupérés ou obtenus à partir de la tranche actuelle.
