Abstract

An optical filter, comprising channel-like optical waveguides for inputting and outputting optical radiation and propagating a light beam, light beam splitters arranged in series along the radiation path, and a generation means for transmitting optical radiation which is bifurcated with the aid of the beam splitters, wherein the generation means is in the form of a set of linked channel-like optical waveguides and/or a planar optical waveguide, and the beam splitters are in the form of a set of connected optical waveguides, with the mutual arrangement of said optical waveguides being selected taking into consideration the maintenance of radiation at the working wavelength with a phase difference which is substantially a multiple of 2π for the majority of beams which have been bifurcated with the aid of the different beam splitters and have passed from the input to the output of the optical filter. Broadband adjustment of the wavelength is performed by phase-shifting optical elements on said channel-like waveguides and/or by a source of acoustic waves by virtue of rotation of the phase front during acoustooptical interaction.
