Abstract

Un traceur de débit entrant localisé peut être balayé d'un massif de gravier entourant un tube base d'un puits de production en évacuant vers l'extérieur le traceur de débit entrant. Le tube base peut comprendre une section non perforée adjacente à une ou plusieurs sections perforées. Une source de traceur peut être disposée de façon circonférencielle autour d'au moins une partie de la section non perforée du tube base. Un traceur de débit entrant peut être libéré de la source de traceur dans le fluide de production dans le massif de gravier à proximité de la section non perforée du tube base de façon que le traceur de débit entrant soit balayé du massif de gravier dans chacune de la ou des sections perforées du tube base et transporté avec le fluide de production. On peut empêcher le traceur de débit entrant d'être balayé directement de la source de traceur dans le tube base grâce à l'absence de perméabilité de la section non perforée du tube base.
