Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil d'estimation des propriétés de carburant d'un moteur. Dans cet appareil selon l'invention, lorsque le carburant d'un moteur est coupé, une vitesse de rotation limite supérieure NEmax est fixée sur la base de la vitesse du véhicule SPD. Lorsque la vitesse de rotation du moteur NE devient égale ou inférieure à la vitesse de rotation limite supérieure NEmax (OUI dans S102), l'injection de carburant pour l'estimation de l'indice de cétane du carburant, qui est une valeur index de la qualité d'allumage du carburant, est exécutée. L'indice de cétane est estimé sur la base de la valeur du couple moteur produit par la combustion du carburant injecté. En fixant la vitesse de rotation limite supérieure NEmax à une plus petite valeur lorsque la vitesse du véhicule SPD est plus élevée, l'appareil limite les variations du retard à l'allumage et améliore la précision de l'estimation de l'indice de cétane.
