Definitions
- the present invention relates to an oil film detection device for detecting an oil film existing on a water surface (detection target surface) of a water purification plant, a river, a lake or the like.
- oil film detection on the water surface is performed.
- Various types of oil film detectors are known. However, paying attention to the fact that the reflectance of light by the oil film is higher than the reflectance of light by the water surface, the intensity of the reflected light from the water surface is measured.
- an oil film detection device for detecting an oil film is known.
- Patent Document 1 discloses an oil film detection apparatus that irradiates a detection target surface such as a water surface from a light source with laser light, receives reflected light from the detection target surface, and detects an oil film existing on the detection target surface.
- a two-dimensional scanning unit that scans the laser beam two-dimensionally by the displacement generated by applying the direction driving voltage and the Y-direction driving voltage and forms a desired plane as the irradiation range of the laser beam on the detection target surface is provided.
- An oil film detection device is disclosed.
- Patent Document 2 discloses a light emitting unit that emits light toward the water surface, a light receiving unit that receives reflected light on the water surface, and an oil film that detects the presence or absence of an oil film on the water surface from the amount of reflected light received by the light receiving unit.
- a detection device is installed between a concave lens and a water surface that diverges the light emitted from the light emitting part and irradiates the water surface as a divergent beam, and when the reflected light from the water surface of the divergent beam is incident, A recursive reflector that reflects incident light toward the water surface along approximately the same path as the incident path, and the light reflected by the reflector is reflected by the water surface and becomes a convergent beam that passes through the concave lens and is received by the light receiving unit.
- An oil film detection device is disclosed.
- a detector of a conventional oil film detection apparatus such as Patent Document 1 is provided with a light source / scanning unit 110, a concave mirror 120, a light receiving unit as shown in FIG.
- the part 140 and the like are accommodated in the accommodating part 150 and are configured to be watertightly sealed by the window 160.
- the window 160 of the detector 100 is attached to the detector 100 at a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal plane. This is to prevent the light emitted from the light source 110 from being reflected on the top and bottom surfaces of the window 160 and becoming stray light. For example, the light emitted from the light source 110 and reflected from the top surface of the window 160.
- the reflected light is guided to the point G and does not enter the light receiving unit 140.
- the design and processing of the structure for sealing the accommodating portion 150 in a watertight manner by the window 160 inclined with respect to the horizontal plane is complicated, and there is a problem that the assembling workability is poor and the cost is increased.
- the conventional oil film detection apparatus uses a so-called off-axis parabolic mirror whose focal position is shifted, such as concave mirrors 120 and 40 shown in FIG. 15 and FIGS.
- the reflected light from the detection target surface is not blocked by the light receiving unit so that it can be efficiently collected even in a small area. Needs a larger concave mirror.
- the larger the concave mirror the larger the aperture of the detector.
- a conventional oil film detection device such as Patent Document 2 reflects reflected light on the water surface with a regressive reflector and reciprocates the light, so that the amount of attenuation of the reflected light is large.
- the distance to the light receiving portion is increased, the amount of light reaching the light receiving unit becomes extremely small, which makes it impossible to measure with high sensitivity.
- the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and can detect an oil film reliably and accurately even when the distance from the water surface (detection target surface) is long.
- An object is to provide an oil film detection device.
- the present invention includes a housing unit that houses at least a light source, a concave mirror, and a light receiving unit in a detector that is installed substantially parallel to a detection target surface that extends in a horizontal direction.
- a window that seals the part in a watertight manner, irradiates light from the light source toward the detection target surface, collects reflected light from the detection target surface by the concave mirror, and causes the light receiving unit to receive the light.
- the light source is disposed above the concave mirror and emits light in a substantially vertical direction
- the concave mirror has an optical axis of the concave mirror in a horizontal direction.
- a through hole through which the light emitted from the light source passes at a position shifted from the optical axis of the concave mirror, and the light receiving unit is on the optical axis of the concave mirror Placed at the focal point of It is characterized in.
- the window is arranged in parallel to the horizontal cross section of the detector, and an exit window for transmitting the emitted light is provided at a predetermined angle with respect to a horizontal plane in a part of the window. It is characterized by being.
- the light receiving unit has a “width” in the direction of the optical axis irradiated from the light source, and a “length” and a “width” longer than the “width” in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis.
- the thin plate is held by at least two or more thin plates having a shorter “thickness”, and the thin plate has a thin plate male screw having a head in a plane composed of the “width” direction and the “length” direction.
- a substantially T-shaped notch that can be inserted from the direction, and the detector includes a column corresponding to each of the thin plates, and the column has a slit longer than the “width” of the thin plate in the longitudinal direction.
- the thin plate being inserted into the slit of the corresponding column, and the seat surface of the thin plate male screw being substantially the same as the above.
- the “thickness” of the T-shaped notch is the direction of the column.
- the concave mirror that irradiates light in the substantially vertical direction from the light source toward the detection target surface and collects the light reflected from the detection target surface is disposed so that the optical axis thereof is orthogonal to the horizontal direction, Even if the light receiving unit is disposed at the focal position on the optical axis of the concave mirror (that is, a concave mirror that is not an off-axis concave mirror is used), the distance to the water surface (detection target surface) is increased.
- the oil film can be reliably detected with high accuracy.
- the window for watertightly sealing the accommodating portion in the detector is disposed in parallel to the horizontal cross section of the detector, the structure for sealing the accommodating portion watertight may be a general structure and easy to process. It is possible to provide an oil film detection device with good assembly workability. Furthermore, since the exit window that transmits the emitted light is provided at a part of the window and is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal plane, the oil film can be detected with high accuracy while avoiding an increase in the size of the detector. An oil film detection apparatus can be provided.

- Embodiment 1 The oil film detection apparatus according to the present invention is based on an optical method (light reflection method) using a laser light source. This is a method that utilizes the difference in light reflectance between the water surface and the oil film. In general, it is said that the reflectivity of light from the water surface is about 2%, and the reflectivity of light from the oil film is between 3 and 4%, and the reflected light from the oil film is 1.5 to 2 times greater. So strong.
- the presence or absence of an oil film is detected and detected by applying light of a certain intensity to the water surface, measuring the intensity of the reflected light (the amount of received light) with a detector, and performing various arithmetic processes with the converter. Can do. When an oil film is detected, an alarm is output, thereby making a decision to stop taking water or the like.
- the optical oil film detection device using a laser light source is not only a merit that it is not a contact type (non-contact type) such as a fiber type or a capacitance type, but also other light sources (for example, an LED light source) ) Has a merit that the reflected light can be detected even when the distance to the water surface is large because the light quantity is large and the linearity is good.

- the detector W and the converter are connected by a cable, and a signal based on the intensity (the amount of received light) of the reflected light measured by the detector W is sent to the converter.
- the converter can perform various arithmetic processes to detect / determine the presence / absence of an oil film, and can output an alarm or display a state on the display unit when an oil film is detected. Further, the converter can output a control signal for controlling the detector W.
- the detector W includes a light receiving / scanning unit 1, a concave mirror 2 and a light receiving unit 4 and a window 6 for watertightly sealing the container 5, and on the water surfaces 9a and 9b which are detection target surfaces, It is installed so as to be substantially parallel to the water surfaces 9a and 9b (substantially parallel to the horizontal direction).
- the casing of the detector W is formed of a material that does not transmit light, and light does not enter the housing portion 5 from other than the window 6 (including the exit window 7).
- the light source / scanning unit 1 includes a laser light source and a scanning unit that scans the light source, and by scanning the laser light, a desired plane can be formed as an irradiation range of the laser light on the detection target surface. It has become.
- a vibration element or the like may be used as a configuration for scanning the laser beam. However, since this scanning mechanism is a known technique, detailed description thereof is omitted here.

And the center axis coincide with each other (not a so-called off-axis concave mirror).
- the concave mirror 2 is arranged so that the optical axis Z is orthogonal to the horizontal direction, and has a through hole 3 at a position shifted from the optical axis Z, and is emitted from the light source / scanning unit 1 and penetrates therethrough.
- the concave mirror 2 may be anything other than a so-called off-axis concave mirror, and a normal parabolic mirror, elliptical mirror, or the like can be used.
- the size of the through hole 3 is preferably the same as or slightly larger than the range through which the light emitted and scanned by the light source / scanning unit 1 is transmitted.
- the position of the through hole 3 is preferably close to the optical axis Z of the concave mirror 2 (the central part of the concave mirror 2), but passes through the through hole 3. It is necessary to set the position so that the received light does not directly enter the light receiving unit 4.
- the window 6 of the oil film detection apparatus is attached in parallel to the horizontal cross section of the detector W so as to seal the accommodating portion 5 in the detector W in a watertight manner. Further, the window 6 has, in part, an exit window 7 that is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal plane.
- the emission window 7 is positioned in the vertical direction of the light source / scanning unit 1 and transmits light emitted from the light source.
- the angle of inclination of the exit window 7 is such that the light emitted from the light source and reflected by the top and bottom surfaces of the exit window 7 is guided to a position (for example, point B) deviated from the concave mirror 2; (2) Even if the light is incident on the concave mirror 2 and further reflected, the light does not enter the light receiving unit 4 and does not come out of the detector W through the window 6 (including the exit window 7 portion). It can be determined according to the curvature of the concave mirror 2, the size of the light receiving unit 4, the position of the exit window 7, etc., on the condition that any one of them is satisfied.
- the size of the exit window 7 is preferably the same as or slightly larger than the range in which the light emitted and scanned by the light source / scanning unit 1 is transmitted.
- the window 6 and the emission window 7 may be any one that transmits light emitted from the light source and reflected light, and are formed of a transparent resin such as acrylic in terms of ease of processing, weight, cost, and the like.

- the thin plate 10 is attached to the detector W in order to fix the light receiving unit 4 at the focal position on the optical axis Z of the concave mirror 2 so that the position of the light receiving unit 4 can be finely adjusted.
- the light emitted and scanned by the light source / scanning unit 1 is irradiated in a substantially vertical direction within a range having a spread as shown by a broken line. This light is transmitted through the exit window 7 provided in a part of the window 6. Since the exit window 7 is inclined at a predetermined angle, the light reflected by the top and bottom surfaces of the exit window 7 is guided to a point B off the concave mirror 2 and does not become stray light that hinders oil film detection. .
- the light transmitted through the exit window 7 is reflected by the water surfaces 9a and 9b, passes through the window 6, and reaches the light receiving unit 4 through the concave mirror 2.
- the broken line in FIG. 1 represents the optical path when the water surfaces 9a and 9b are completely flat at the outer edge of the light irradiation range. However, in actual measurement, the water surfaces 9a and 9b have fluctuations (waves). ), The reflected light does not always return to the concave mirror 2 along a constant optical path, and the possibility of detecting an oil film increases as the reflecting surface of the concave mirror 2 increases.
- the water surface 9a shows a state when the water level is high
- the water surface 9b shows a state when the water level is low.
- the light emitted from the light source / scanning unit 1 is irradiated in a substantially vertical direction, even if the water level fluctuates, a plane on which the light is irradiated is always formed on the water surfaces 9a and 9b, and the light reflected on the surface is a concave mirror. 2 can be captured.
- a parabolic mirror is used as the concave mirror 2
- all of the light parallel to the optical axis is collected at the focal point.
- the light receiving unit 4 has a certain area (the width of the light receiving surface). By providing this, reflected light that is not completely parallel light can also be collected.
- a signal based on the light intensity (light receiving amount) detected by the light receiving unit 4 is sent to the converter, subjected to various arithmetic processes, and used for determining the presence or absence of an oil film.
- processing such as outputting an alarm signal is performed.
- the light receiving unit 4 is placed on the optical axis Z of the concave mirror 2. Even if it is arranged at the focal position, the light receiving unit 4 does not block the laser light emitted from the light source / scanning unit 1, and the reflected light from the water surfaces (detection target surfaces) 9a and 9b is efficiently collected. can do.
- the detection target surface can be reliably irradiated with light, and the reflected light from the detection target surface can be reliably collected.
- the window 6 which seals the accommodating part 5 in the detector W watertightly was arrange
- the structure for sealing the portion 5 in a watertight manner may be a general one, easy to process and easy to assemble.
- the emission window 7 has a laser beam emitted from the light source / scanning unit 1 to prevent the light reflected from the top and bottom surfaces of the window 6 from becoming stray light and detected by the light receiving unit 4. It is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, that is, provided with a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal plane.
- the window 6 is arranged in parallel to the horizontal cross section of the detector W, and only the emission window 7 through which the laser beam emitted from the light source / scanning unit 1 passes is transmitted. It was configured to be installed obliquely with respect to the axis (inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal plane).
- the laser light emitted from the light source / scanning unit 1 is reflected by the window 6 and becomes stray light.
- the oil film can be detected with high accuracy.
- the concave mirror 2 is not a so-called off-axis concave mirror. Since light gathers at the center when used, if the light receiving unit 4 is installed at the center, the light can be necessarily collected efficiently. Further, the concave mirror 2 has an advantage that it is cheaper and easier to make than the so-called off-axis concave mirror (concave mirror 120).
- a window 6 for watertightly sealing the accommodating portion 5 in the detector W is disposed in parallel to the horizontal cross section of the detector W so that the laser light emitted from the light source / scanning portion 1 is transmitted therethrough. Since only a small portion of the exit window 7 is formed obliquely with respect to the optical axis, even if a concave mirror larger than the conventional concave mirror is used, the height direction size should be the same as the conventional size. And space efficient.
- the oil film detection device in Embodiment 1 of the present invention it is possible to improve measurement accuracy and assembly workability while avoiding an increase in cost and an increase in size. If the oil film can be reliably detected only up to, for example, about 5 m, the distance to the water surface (detection target surface) 9a, according to the oil film detection device in this embodiment, the distance to the water surface (detection target surface) 9b For example, an oil film can be detected even if it is around 10 m.

- the thickness of the thin plate 10 is desirably as thin as possible.
- the light receiving unit 4 and the thin plate 10 have a certain size and weight, and thus the thin plate 10 requires strength. .
- the light receiving unit 4 must be disposed at the focal position on the optical axis Z of the concave mirror 2 (substantially on the central axis of the detector W), but fine adjustment can be made according to individual differences between devices and the installation state of the devices. It is necessary to. As a result, the thin plate 10 needs to have a mechanism that can adjust the position of the light receiving unit 4 and has a thin cross-sectional shape (thin plate) as much as possible.
- the light receiving unit 4 is fixed by three thin plates 10, and three columns 30 corresponding to each thin plate 10 are also provided. Description
