Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Brennkraftmaschine (2), die eine Abgasreinigungseinrichtung (3) aufweist, wobei eine Stellgröße für die Zusammensetzung eines in der Brennkraftmaschine (2) zum Verbrennen vorliegenden Kraftstoff-Luft-Gemischs anhand eines aus dem Lambdasignal einer Lambdasonde (7) bestimmten Verbrennungsluftverhältnisses geregelt wird. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass zum Vermeiden von Regelschwingungen das Verbrennungsluftverhältnis mit dem Lambdasignal und einem Zeitversatz rekonstruiert wird, wobei der Zeitversatz durch eine Kreuzkorrelation zwischen dem Lambdasignal der Lambdasonde (7) und der Stellgröße bestimmt wird. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin eine Brennkraftmaschine (2) mit einer Abgasreinigungseinrichtung (3).
