Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de manipulation de pièces de bagages dans un aéroport, comprenant au moins une station de tri et préparation pour manipuler des pièces de bagages destinées à un vol particulier ; un premier système de stockage comprenant au moins un support pour les pièces de bagages et au moins un ascenseur pour transporter les pièces de bagages vers les positions de stockage et en provenance de celles-ci ; un système de transporteur d'acheminement pour acheminer les pièces de bagages à l'ascenseur ; un système de transporteur de rejet pour rejeter les pièces de bagages de l'ascenseur à la station de tri et préparation ; et un second système de stockage comprenant au moins deux transporteurs tampons. Le système comprend en outre un second système de stockage comprenant au moins deux transporteurs tampons. Le système de transporteur d'acheminement est également conçu pour acheminer les pièces de bagages aux transporteurs tampons. Le système de transporteur de rejet est également conçu pour rejeter les pièces de bagages des transporteurs tampons à la station de tri et préparation, et pour rendre possible le rejet de pièces de bagages provenant des premier et second systèmes de stockage vers une ou la même station de tri et préparation. L'invention concerne également un procédé de manipulation de pièces de bagages.
