Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Heizblock zur Verwendung in einem Warmwasserbereiter zum Erwärmen von Wasser, umfassend einen Heizblockkörper, insbesondere aus Kunststoff, zum Ausbilden einer Kavität zum Leiten des Wassers und zum Aufnehmen wenigstens eines Heizelementes. Dabei umfasst der Heizblockkörper eine erste Teilschale mit einer ersten Teilkavität und eine zweite Teilschale mit einer zweiten Teilkavität. Die erste und die zweite Teilschale sind in einem Fügebereich zusammengesetzt und bilden aus den beiden Teilkavitäten zwischen sich die Kavität. Der Fügebereich ist zumindest teilweise nicht in einer Fügeebene ausgebildet und/oder die erste und die zweite Teilschale sind durch die Zufuhr von Wärme über ein Medium verschweißt, insbesondere über einen im Wesentlichen abriebfreien und/oder erschütterungsfreien Schweißvorgang verschweißt und/oder die erste Teilkavität weist eine größere Tiefe auf als die zweite Teilkavität oder umgekehrt.
