Abstract

La invención se enmarca en la industria de las energías renovables, particularmente en la que aprovecha de la energía cinética de los fluidos. La invención consiste el diseño no convencional de la geometría de la pala de un rotor, este rotor puede estar, o no, ensamblado a una máquina que genera energía a partir de la transformación de la energía cinética que posee un fluido en movimiento. El propósito fundamental del diseño es mejorar la eficiencia con la cual se transforma la energía cinética del fluido, lo cual permite alcanzar mejores valores del coeficiente de potencia y por ende un mejor desempeño a la hora de generar energía. Dicho rotor debe tener como mínimo dos (2) palas (e) para su funcionamiento y está diseñado principalmente para aplicaciones en generadores eólicos.
