Abstract

【課題】ギャッシュと刃溝を有する多刃エンドミルを用いて難削性合金製のインペラー等の薄肉部材を高速度の高送りで切削加工する際の、ギャッシュ7からの切屑排出効果と刃溝8への誘導効果を高める。 【解決手段】切れ刃3のすくい面を回転軸O側から半径方向外周側へかけて底刃6のすくい面6aと、これに隣接し、底刃6のすくい面6aと異なる面を形成し、コーナR刃5のすくい面を兼ねる外周刃4のすくい面4aとから構成し、底刃6のすくい面6aと外周刃4のすくい面4aとの境界に位置する凸の稜線64と、底刃6のすくい面6aと刃溝8の底面8bとの境界に位置する凸の稜線68との交点を、コーナR刃5の逃げ面5bと底刃6の逃げ面6bとの境界より半径方向回転軸O側へ入り込ませる。
