Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bedienen einer Funktionseinrichtung eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit einer Bedienvorrichtung, wobei die Bedienvorrichtung einen Drehsteller (12) umfasst, der an einem Halteelement (14) drehbar gelagert ist und der zumindest ein Kodierelement (16, 18) aufweist, durch Erfassen eines absoluten Drehwinkels zwischen dem Drehsteller (12) und dem Halteelement (14) anhand einer Kodierung des zumindest einen Kodierelements (16, 18), Vorgeben einer Mehrzahl von Rastpositionen (22) für den Drehsteller (12) entlang seiner Drehrichtung, Erfassen der jeweiligen Rastposition (22) und des absoluten Drehwinkels zwischen zwei der Rastpositionen (22) anhand der Kodierung des zumindest einen Kodierelements (16, 18) und Steuern der Funktionseinrichtung in Abhängigkeit von dem erfassten absoluten Drehwinkel, falls sich der Drehsteller (12) zwischen zwei der Rastpositionen (22) befindet.
