Abstract

 鍛造工程後において、余肉部が設けられた動翼全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれを抑制するタービンの動翼の製造方法を提供することを課題とする。翼部23の製造工程における鍛造工程において、鍛造物が、翼部23及び余肉部31の翼長方向に垂直な断面について、翼部23の翼面から余肉部の表面までの距離(余肉量)が、翼部23の当該断面の周囲全体で略均一となるように、かつ、翼長方向において、所定位置から翼頂側に向けて余肉部31の厚みである余肉量を徐々に大きくなるように熱間型鍛造する。

Description

タービンの動翼の製造方法
 本発明は、鍛造によって余肉部を含む翼部を成型するタービンの動翼の製造方法に関する。
 一般的なタービン(例えば、蒸気タービン)は、ケーシングに回転軸であるロータが回転自在に支持され、このロータの外周部に動翼が設置されると共に、ケーシングの内壁に静翼が設置され、蒸気通路にこの動翼と静翼が交互に複数配設されている。そして、蒸気が蒸気通路を流れる過程で、動翼及びロータが回転駆動する。
 このような蒸気タービンにおいて、動翼は、ロータのロータディスクに固定される翼根部と、翼根部に一体に形成されるプラットホームと、基端部がこのプラットホームに接合されて先端部側に延出する翼部と、翼部の先端部に連結されるシュラウドとを有している。そして、動翼は、基端部がロータディスクの外周部にその周方向に沿って複数並設するように固定され、先端部のシュラウド同士が接触するように、ロータの軸方向の周りに環状に配設されている。
 このような蒸気タービンの動翼の製造方法として、例えば、特許文献1には、エロージョン(浸食)を防止することができる信頼性に優れたチタン合金製のタービンブレード(動翼)の製造方法が記載されている。この製造方法は、チタン合金よりなるタービンブレードを熱間型鍛造により形成する鍛造工程と、熱間型鍛造によって形成されたカバーを含むタービンブレードのブレード前縁部の先端側をブレード本体より早く冷却する工程と、冷却後のタービンブレードを熱処理する工程とからなることが記載されている。

 上記のような製造方法においては、熱処理の工程後に、さらに、最終的な動翼の翼面形状となるように、削り出す機械加工工程が実施されるのが通常である。このように機械加工工程において動翼の削り出しを実施するためには、図10に示すように、鍛造工程において、動翼の翼部123に対して、削り出す部分となる余肉部131aを設けた状態で鍛造する必要がある。図10は、具体的には、動翼の翼部123の翼面から余肉部131aの表面までの距離が翼面全体で略均一となるように余肉部131aが設けられた状態の翼部123の断面を示している。このような動翼を鍛造して形成した場合、余肉部131aが設けられた翼部123は、翼長方向で板厚が厚い部分と、板厚が薄い部分とが存在する。そして、上記の鍛造工程が終了し、鍛造した余肉部131a付きの翼部123を冷却する工程においては、翼長方向の板厚が厚い部分と、板厚が薄い部分とに温度差が生じ、翼部123及び余肉部131aの内部に熱応力が発生する。この温度差が大きくなるほど熱応力が大きくなり、特に板厚が薄い部分の翼部123及び余肉部131aにおいて局所的に塑性変形が生ずる可能性がある。また、この局所的な塑性変形によって、残留応力が発生、及び翼部123全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれ(以下、「翼全体の変形」という)が発生する可能性がある。
 図11は、重量比と余肉部131aの厚みとの各組み合わせにおける翼部123のプラットホームからの翼長方向の位置における翼全体の変形量を示している。「重量比」とは、翼部123自体の重量に対する翼部123及び余肉部131aの重量の和の比を示す。図11に示すように、板厚が大きい翼根側における翼全体の変形量は小さいが、板厚が小さい翼頂側に向かうに従って、翼全体の変形量が大きくなる傾向がある。このような翼全体の変形が起きた場合、後工程の熱処理の工程及び機械加工工程のために、手作業又は簡単なプレス等の冷間加工によって、最終的な翼部123の形状に沿った形状に戻す加工が必要となる。その結果、作業効率が低下する恐れがある。また、手作業又は簡単なプレス等により、最終的な翼部123の形状にバラつきが生じてしまう可能性がある。
 さらに、前述のように、熱処理中に局所的な塑性変形が生じた場合や、後工程の熱処理の工程及び機械加工工程のために、翼全体の変形を最終的な翼部123の形状に沿った形状に修正するための手作業又は簡単なプレス等の冷間加工を施した場合には、翼に残留応力が残る。そして、バリ取り工程において、鍛造物の不要な部分(バリ)を除去するとき、又は、機械加工工程において、余肉部131aを削り出すときに、この残留応力が解放されて、翼部123全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれが発生してしまう可能性がある。また、機械加工工程前に通常行われる熱処理工程においては、加熱によって降伏点が下がったときに、この残留応力が解放されて、翼部123全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれが発生してしまう可能性もある。また、この熱処理工程における鍛造物の加熱後の冷却時においても、翼長方向の板厚が厚い部分と、板厚が薄い部分とに温度差が生じ、翼部123及び余肉部131aの内部に熱応力が発生する。この温度差が大きくなるほど熱応力が大きくなり、特に板厚が薄い部分の翼部123及び余肉部131aにおいて局所的に塑性変形が生ずる可能性がある。また、この局所的な塑性変形によって、残留応力が発生し、また、翼部123全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれが発生する可能性もある。
 本発明は、鍛造工程後において、余肉部が設けられた動翼全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれを抑制するタービンの動翼の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
 上記の課題を解決するための本発明に係るタービンの動翼の製造方法は、タービン内に回転自在に支持されたロータの外周に、その周方向に沿って複数並設されて固定される動翼の製造方法であって、前記動翼の翼部に余肉部を設け、前記翼部の翼長方向の所定位置から翼頂側に向けて、前記余肉部の厚みである余肉量を徐々に大きくした鍛造物を型鍛造して成型する鍛造工程と、前記鍛造物から前記余肉部を削り出して前記翼部を形成する機械加工工程と、を含むことを特徴とするものである。このうち、前記鍛造工程において、前記所定位置は、前記翼部の基端部から前記翼部の中央部までの間のいずれかの位置としてもよく、前記翼部の基端部から該翼部に形成されたスタブの位置までの間のいずれかの位置としてもよく、あるいは、前記翼部の基端部から該翼部の翼長方向の長さの1/4までの間のいずれかの位置としてもよい。
 このようにすることで、鍛造工程における型鍛造によって成型された鍛造物(余肉部が設けられた翼部を含む)が、翼長方向において、板厚が大きい部分と板厚が小さい部分との厚みの差がほぼなくなるか又は小さくなるので、鍛造物全体の温度差は小さくなる。さらに、鍛造物全体の剛性が向上する。したがって、鍛造工程の次工程である冷却工程において、翼部及び余肉部の内部に熱応力が発生しにくくなり、翼部及び余肉部の翼長方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制することができる。局所的な塑性変形の発生の抑制によって、翼部全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができ、また、冷却工程に発生する残留応力も低減できる。また、翼全体の変形が起きた場合における手作業又は簡単なプレス等の冷間加工により最終的な翼部123の形状に沿った形状に戻す加工も不要になるか、このような手作業等が必要であっても最小限の作業で済むので、残留応力の発生を抑制し、翼部の形状のバラつきを抑制し、作業コストを低減できる。また、冷却工程時において残留応力の発生が抑制されるので、バリ取り工程において、鍛造物の不要な部分(バリ)を除去するとき、又は、機械加工工程において、余肉部を削り出すときに、残留応力の解放量が小さくなり、翼部全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。さらに、機械加工工程前に通常行われる熱処理工程においては、加熱によって降伏点が下がったときにおいても、残留応力の解放量が小さくなり、翼部全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。また、この熱処理工程における鍛造物の加熱後の冷却時においても、翼長方向の板厚が厚い部分と、板厚が薄い部分との温度差が小さくなるので、翼部及び余肉部の内部に熱応力が発生しにくくなり、翼部及び余肉部の翼長方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制することができる。局所的な塑性変形の発生の抑制によって、残留応力の発生を抑制、及び翼部全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。
 前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向の少なくともいずれかの部分における前記翼長方向に垂直な断面について、前記余肉量を前記翼部の前記断面の周囲全体において略均一とした前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型することが好ましい。
 このようにすることで、上記の効果を有すると共に、鍛造工程後の冷却工程において、鍛造物の翼長方向における翼頂側部分がある程度局所的に塑性変形が発生したとしても、翼頂側部分の余肉量は翼根側部分の余肉量よりも大きいので、局所的に塑性変形が起きた鍛造物内に最終形状の翼部が収まる状態となる。その結果、手作業又は簡単なプレス等の冷間加工によって、最終的な翼部123の形状に沿った形状に戻す加工は不要となるので、この加工による残留応力が残ってしまうこともない。
 前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向の少なくともいずれかの部分における前記翼長方向に垂直な断面について、前記断面の長手方向の両端部分であるエッジ部における前記余肉量を前記翼部の前記断面において前記翼部の板厚が最も厚い部分である最大直径部における前記余肉量よりも大きい前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型することが好ましい。また、前記鍛造工程において、前記断面の前記エッジ部における前記鍛造物の板厚が、前記最大直径部における前記鍛造物の板厚以上となるように型鍛造することが好ましい。
 このようにすることで、鍛造物の翼部及び余肉部の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向において、板厚が厚い部分と板厚が薄い部分との厚みの差がほぼなくなるか又は小さくなる。このため、鍛造物全体の温度差は小さくなるので、鍛造工程の次工程である冷却工程において、翼部及び余肉部の内部に熱応力が発生しにくく、前述した断面の長手方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制することで、残留応力の発生を抑制、及び翼部全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。
 また、本発明に係るタービンの動翼の製造方法は、前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向の少なくともいずれかの部分における前記翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の両端部分であるエッジ部における前記余肉量について、前記断面の形状が凹状を呈する側の前記余肉量が、前記断面の形状が凸状を呈する側の前記余肉量よりも小さい前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型することが好ましい。
 このようにすることで、翼部及び余肉部の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の湾曲の度合いが小さくなるので、冷却工程において熱応力が発生しても、断面の長手方向における局所的な塑性変形が発生を抑制し、残留応力の発生を抑制し、翼部全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。
 また、本発明に係るタービンの動翼の製造方法は、前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部のスタブが形成された位置における前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向に垂直な断面の前記スタブに設けられた前記余肉部の少なくとも一部の前記余肉量が、前記断面の前記スタブ以外の部分に設けられた前記余肉部の前記余肉量よりも小さい前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型することが好ましい。
 このようにすることで、翼部においてスタブが形成された位置における鍛造物の翼長方向に垂直な断面の面積と、その他の位置の断面の面積との差を小さくできる。その結果、鍛造工程の次工程である冷却工程において、鍛造物の内部に熱応力が発生しにくく、鍛造物の翼長方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制することで、残留応力の発生を抑制、及び翼部全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。
 本発明は、鍛造工程後において、余肉部が設けられた動翼全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれを抑制するタービンの動翼の製造方法を提供することができる。

 本発明を実施するための形態(実施形態)につき、図面を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
[実施形態1]
(蒸気タービン1の概略構成)
 図1は、実施形態1に係る動翼が備えられた蒸気タービンの概略構成図である。以下、図1を参照しながら、実施形態1に係る蒸気タービン1の構造の概略について説明する。
 図1に示すように、蒸気タービン1において、ケーシング11は、中空形状を呈し、回転軸としてのロータ12が複数の軸受13によって回転自在に支持されている。ケーシング11内には、動翼15及び静翼16が配設されている。動翼15は、ロータ12に形成された円盤状のロータディスク14の外周にその周方向に沿って、複数並設され固定されている。静翼16は、ケーシング11の内壁にその周方向に沿って、複数並設され固定されている。これらの動翼15及び静翼16は、ロータ12の軸方向に沿って交互に配設されている。
 また、ケーシング11内には、上記の動翼15及び静翼16が配設され、蒸気が通過する蒸気通路17が形成されている。この蒸気通路17には、蒸気が供給される入口として蒸気供給口18が形成され、蒸気が外部に排出される出口として蒸気排出口19が形成されている。
(蒸気タービン1の概略動作)
 次に、図1を参照しながら、蒸気タービン1の動作の概略を説明する。
 蒸気タービン1の蒸気供給口18から蒸気通路17に供給された蒸気は、静翼16を通過する過程で膨張して高速の蒸気流となる。静翼16を通過した高速の蒸気流は、動翼15に吹き付けられて、複数の動翼15及びこれらが取り付けられたロータ12を回転させる。ロータ12には、例えば、発電機等が連結されており、ロータ12が回転することにより発電機が駆動されて電力が発生する。蒸気通路17の静翼16及び動翼15が配設された部分を通過した蒸気は、蒸気排出口19から外部に排出される。
(動翼15の構造)
 図2は、実施形態1の動翼を示す概略図である。図2を参照しながら、実施形態1の動翼15の構造について説明する。
 図2に示すように、動翼15は、翼根部21と、プラットホーム22と、翼部23と、シュラウド24とを含む。
 翼根部21は、ロータディスク14に埋設され、動翼15をロータディスク14に固定する。プラットホーム22は、翼根部21と一体となる湾曲したプレート形状物である。翼部23は、基端部がプラットホーム22に固定され、先端部がケーシング11の内壁面側に延出しており、翼長方向に向かうに従って捩じられている。シュラウド24は、翼部23の先端部に固定されており、隣接する動翼15のシュラウド24と接触して、動翼15を固定し、あるいは、動翼15の振動を抑制する部材である。
 また、翼部23の両翼面における翼長方向の略中央部に、突起状のスタブ25が形成されている。このスタブ25は、隣接する動翼15のスタブ25と接触して、動翼15を固定し、また動翼15の振動を抑制する部分である。
(動翼15の製造工程)
 図3は、実施形態1の動翼の製造工程を示すフローチャートであり、図4は、実施形態1の鍛造後の余肉部が設けられた動翼の断面図である。図3及び図4を参照しながら、実施形態1の動翼15の製造工程、特に、動翼15の翼部23の製造工程について説明する。
 翼部23の製造工程は、鍛造工程(ステップS1)と、冷却工程(ステップS2)と、バリ取り工程(ステップS3)と、熱処理工程(ステップS4)と、機械加工工程(ステップS5)とを含む。
 ステップS1の鍛造工程においては、図4に示す余肉部31が設けられた翼部23の形状となるように加工された上下一組の金型内に、再結晶温度以上の高温に加熱した鍛造素材(例えば、ステンレス等)を設置し、熱間型鍛造を行う。熱間型鍛造が終了すると、図4に示すような余肉部31が設けられた翼部23の形状の鍛造物が成型される。次に、ステップS2の冷却工程へ進む。
 ステップS2の冷却工程においては、鍛造工程において成型された高温状態の鍛造物を冷却する。鍛造物は、次工程のバリ取り工程に適した温度にまで冷却される。次に、ステップS3のバリ取り工程へ進む。
 ステップS3のバリ取り工程においては、鍛造工程の型鍛造の際に、鍛造素材が上下の金型の隙間に入り込むこと等によって形成された鍛造物の不要な部分(バリ)を除去する。次に、ステップS4の熱処理工程へ進む。
 ステップS4の熱処理工程においては、鍛造物に対して熱処理を施すことにより、前工程(鍛造工程)で鍛造物に発生した残留応力及び冷却過程で鍛造物に発生した熱応力を解放する。次に、ステップS5の機械加工工程へ進む。
 ステップS5の機械加工工程においては、切削加工によって鍛造物の余肉部31が切削される。また、機械加工工程では、切削加工により、翼部23の基端部側(翼根側)にプラットホーム22が形成され、先端部側(翼頂側)にシュラウド24が形成される。このようにして、目的とする最終形状を有する動翼15が形成される。その後、動翼15には必要な熱処理(例えば、溶体化処理及び時効処理)等が施されて、動翼15に必要な機械的特性が与えられる。
(鍛造物の成型方法)
 図5は、鍛造後の余肉部が設けられた動翼の各断面箇所における余肉量を表すグラフである。図6は、鍛造後の余肉部が設けられた動翼の特定の断面箇所における余肉量を示す図である。図4~図6を参照しながら、実施形態1の鍛造工程において成型される鍛造物について説明する。
 実施形態1の翼部23の製造工程における鍛造工程において、鍛造物は、図4に示すように、翼部23及び余肉部31の翼長方向に垂直な断面について、翼部23の翼面から余肉部31aの表面までの距離(余肉量)が、同一の断面の周囲全体で略均一となるように、かつ、図5に示すように、翼長方向において、所定位置(K-K断面の位置)から翼頂側に向かって余肉部31の厚みである余肉量が徐々に大きくなるように熱間型鍛造される。すなわち、図4に示すように、鍛造物は、蒸気タービン1の稼動時に、蒸気の圧力が高くなる翼部23の圧力側における余肉量と、圧力側に対して負圧となるサクション側における余肉量とが略均一となるように熱間型鍛造される。
 図5及び図6においては、翼長方向の翼部23のK-K断面箇所から、翼頂側に向けて余肉量を徐々に大きくした例を示している。図6は、翼部23のC-C断面図、F-F断面図、及びK-K断面図を示しているが、C-C断面の余肉部31の余肉量が最も大きく、K-K断面の余肉部31の余肉量が最も小さく、そして、F-F断面の余肉部31の余肉量がその中間の大きさとなっている。また、図4は、翼部23において、余肉量が大きくなり始めるK-K断面箇所から先端部までのいずれかの箇所の断面形状を示している。従来の翼部の余肉部は、翼長方向における断面の位置に関わらず翼面全体で略均一としているので、実施形態1の翼部23の余肉部31の余肉量W1は、従来の翼部23の余肉部31aの余肉量W1aよりも大きくなっている。
 なお、本実施形態では、図5に示すように、翼部23の余肉量が大きくなり始める位置をK-K断面箇所からとしているが、余肉量が大きくなり始める翼長方向の位置は、例えば、翼部23の基端部から中央部までのいずれかの位置(例えば、翼部23の基端部から翼部23の翼長方向の長さの1/4の位置までの間のいずれかの位置等)とすればよい。余肉量が大きくなり始める翼長方向の位置は、これに限定されるものではなく、例えば、翼部23は基端部から先端部にかけて板厚が薄くなるので、基端部のN-N断面箇所から翼頂側に向けて余肉量を徐々に大きくしてもよい。あるいは、余肉量が大きくなり始める翼長方向の位置は、翼部23の基端部からスタブ25が形成された位置までのいずれかの位置としてもよい。
 また、図5に示すように、翼部23の余肉量が翼長方向の所定位置から翼頂側に向けて直線状に徐々に大きくなるものとしているが、これに限定されるものではなく、任意の変化量に基づいて徐々に大きくなるようにしてもよい。
 上述したように、動翼15の製造工程における鍛造工程において、鍛造物は、翼部23及び余肉部31の翼長方向に垂直な断面について、翼部23の余肉量が、同一の断面の周囲全体で略均一となるように、かつ、翼長方向において、所定位置から翼頂側に向けて余肉部31の厚みである余肉量を徐々に大きくなるように熱間型鍛造される。このようにすることで、鍛造工程の型鍛造において成型された鍛造物(余肉部31が設けられた翼部23)は、翼長方向において、板厚が厚い部分と板厚が薄い部分との厚みの差がほぼなくなるか又は小さくなり、さらに、鍛造物全体の剛性が向上する。したがって、鍛造工程の次工程である冷却工程において、翼部23及び余肉部31の内部に熱応力が発生しにくく、翼部23及び余肉部31の翼長方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制することができる。局所的な塑性変形の発生の抑制によって、残留応力の発生を抑制し、翼部23全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。また、局所的な塑性変形が起きた場合における手作業又は簡単なプレス等の冷間加工により塑性変形する前の状態に戻す加工が必要なくなるか、作業が発生したとしても最小限で済むので、残留応力の発生を抑制し、翼部23の形状のバラつきを抑制し、作業コストを低減できる。また、冷却工程時において残留応力の発生が抑制されるので、バリ取り工程において、鍛造物の不要な部分(バリ)を除去するとき、又は、機械加工工程において、余肉部31を削り出すときに、残留応力の解放量が小さくなり、翼部23全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。さらに、機械加工工程前に通常行われる熱処理工程においては、加熱によって降伏点が下がったときにおいても、残留応力の解放量が小さくなり、翼部23全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。また、この熱処理工程における鍛造物の加熱後の冷却時においても、翼長方向の板厚が厚い部分と、板厚が薄い部分との温度差が小さくなるので、翼部23及び余肉部31の内部に熱応力が発生しにくくなり、翼部23及び余肉部31の翼長方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制することができる。局所的な塑性変形の発生の抑制によって、残留応力の発生を抑制、及び翼部23全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。
 また、鍛造工程後の冷却工程において、鍛造物の翼長方向における翼頂側部分にある程度の翼全体の変形が発生したとしても、翼頂側部分の余肉量は、翼根側部分の余肉量よりも大きいので、翼全体の変形が発生した鍛造物内に最終形状の翼部23が収まる状態となる。したがって、翼頂側部分の加工代が残っているため、この加工代を機械加工(例えば、切削加工)することができる。このため、手作業又は簡単なプレス等の冷間加工によって、最終的な翼部23の形状に沿った形状に戻す加工を施す必要がなく、このような加工による残留応力の発生を抑制できる。
[実施形態2]
 実施形態2の蒸気タービンの動翼の製造工程について、実施形態1の蒸気タービンの動翼の製造工程と相違する点を中心に説明する。なお、実施形態2の動翼の製造工程の全体の流れは、実施形態1の動翼の製造工程の全体の流れと同様である。
(鍛造物の成型方法)
 図7は、実施形態2の鍛造後の余肉部が設けられた動翼の断面図である。図7を参照しながら、実施形態2の鍛造工程において成型される鍛造物について説明する。
 実施形態2の翼部23の製造工程における鍛造工程においては、鍛造物(余肉部32が設けられた翼部23を含む)が、図7に示すように、翼部23及び余肉部32の翼長方向に垂直な断面について、当該断面の長手方向の両端であるエッジ部23aにおける余肉量が、当該断面において翼部23の板厚が最も厚い部分である最大直径部26における余肉量よりも大きくなるように熱間型鍛造する。すなわち、翼部23及び余肉部32の翼長方向に垂直な断面の周囲の余肉量に分布を持たせている。具体的には、当該鍛造工程においては、エッジ部23aにおける鍛造物の板厚W3が、最大直径部26における鍛造物の板厚W2以上となるように熱間型鍛造する。このようにすることで、図7に示すように、実施形態2における余肉部32の最大直径部26における余肉量は、実施形態1における余肉部31の最大直径部26における余肉量よりも小さくなっている。
 また、実施形態2においても、実施形態1と同様に、鍛造工程において、鍛造物の翼長方向において、所定位置から翼頂側に向けて余肉量を徐々に大きくするように熱間型鍛造する。ただし、実施形態2においては、翼部23及び余肉部32の翼長方向に垂直な断面の周囲の余肉量に分布を持たせているので、当該分布を持った余肉量の平均値が、所定位置から翼頂側に向けて徐々に大きくなるように熱間型鍛造すればよい。
 上述したように、動翼15の製造工程における鍛造工程において、翼部23及び余肉部32の翼長方向に垂直な断面について、当該断面の長手方向の両端であるエッジ部23aにおける余肉量が、当該断面において翼部23の板厚が最も厚い部分である最大直径部26における余肉量よりも大きくなるように熱間型鍛造する。具体的には、当該鍛造工程において、エッジ部23aにおける鍛造物の板厚W3が、最大直径部26における鍛造物の板厚W2以上となるように、熱間型鍛造する。すなわち、板厚の小さいエッジ部23aにおいて余肉量を大きくし、板厚の大きい最大直径部26において余肉量を小さくしているので、翼部23及び余肉部32の断面の板厚が長手方向の全体に亘って略均一となる。このようにすることで、鍛造物の翼部23及び余肉部32の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向において、板厚が大きい部分と板厚が小さい部分との厚みの差がほぼなくなるか又は小さくなる。したがって、鍛造工程の次工程である冷却工程において、翼部23及び余肉部32の内部に熱応力が発生しにくく、当該断面の長手方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制し、残留応力の発生を抑制、及び翼部23全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。また、実施形態2は、実施形態1と同様の作用、効果を奏するのは言うまでもない。
[実施形態3]
 実施形態3の蒸気タービンの動翼の製造工程について、実施形態2の蒸気タービンの動翼の製造工程と相違する点を中心に説明する。なお、実施形態3の動翼の製造工程の全体の流れは、実施形態1の動翼の製造工程の全体の流れと同様である。
(鍛造物の成型方法)
 図8は、実施形態3の鍛造後の余肉部が設けられた動翼の断面図である。図8を参照しながら、実施形態3の鍛造工程において成型される鍛造物について説明する。
 実施形態3の翼部23の製造工程における鍛造工程においては、鍛造物(余肉部33が設けられた翼部23)は、図8に示すように、翼部23及び余肉部33の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の両端部であるエッジ部23aにおける余肉量について、当該断面形状が凹状を呈する圧力側の余肉量が、当該断面形状が凸状を呈するサクション側の余肉量よりも小さくなるように熱間型鍛造される。すなわち、上述した断面の周囲の余肉量に分布を持たせている。具体的には、当該鍛造工程において、鍛造物のエッジ部23aにおける当該断面形状が、凹状を呈する圧力側の余肉量W4a、W5aが、それぞれ当該断面形状が凸状を呈するサクション側の余肉量W4b、W5bよりも小さくなるように鍛造物が熱間型鍛造される。なお、当該鍛造工程において、鍛造物のエッジ部23aにおける板厚と、鍛造物の最大直径部26における板厚との関係は、実施形態2と同様である。このようにすることで、実施形態3における翼部23及び余肉部33の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の湾曲の度合いは、実施形態2における翼部23及び余肉部32の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の湾曲の度合いより小さくなり、翼部23及び余肉部33の翼長方向に垂直な断面は長方形に近くなる。
 上述したように、動翼15の製造工程における鍛造工程において、鍛造物は、翼部23及び余肉部33の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の両端部であるエッジ部23aにおける余肉量について、当該断面形状が凹状を呈する圧力側の余肉量が、当該断面形状が凸状を呈するサクション側の余肉量よりも小さくなるように熱間型鍛造される。このような加工により、翼部23及び余肉部33の翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の湾曲の度合いが小さくなるので、冷却工程において熱応力が発生しても、断面の長手方向における局所的な塑性変形の発生を抑制し、残留応力の発生を抑制、及び翼部23全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。また、実施形態3は、実施形態1及び実施形態2と同様の作用、効果を奏するのは言うまでもない。
[実施形態4]
 実施形態4の蒸気タービンの動翼の製造工程について、実施形態1の蒸気タービンの動翼の製造工程と相違する点を中心に説明する。なお、実施形態4の動翼の製造工程の全体の流れは、実施形態1の動翼の製造工程の全体の流れと同様である。
(鍛造物の形成方法)
 図9は、実施形態4の鍛造後の余肉部が設けられた動翼におけるスタブが形成された位置の断面図である。図9を参照しながら、実施形態4の鍛造工程において成型される鍛造物について説明する。
 図9は、翼部23においてスタブ25が形成された位置における翼部23及び余肉部34の翼長方向に垂直な断面を示している。実施形態4の翼部23の製造工程における鍛造工程においては、鍛造物(余肉部34が設けられた翼部23を含む)は、図9に示すように、翼部23においてスタブ25が形成された位置における翼部23及び余肉部34の翼長方向に垂直な断面のスタブ25における余肉量が、スタブ25以外の部分の余肉量よりも小さくなるように、熱間型鍛造される。図9において、実施形態1における、余肉量が翼部23の当該断面の周囲全体で略均一(図9に示すように、金型による型鍛造による制約で均一にできない部分がある)とする余肉部を余肉部34aとして示している。したがって、翼部23においてスタブ25が形成された位置における翼部23及び余肉部34の翼長方向に垂直な断面の面積は、当該位置における翼部23及び余肉部34aの翼長方向に垂直な断面の面積よりも小さくなる。
 このようにすることで、翼部23においてスタブ25が形成された位置における鍛造物の翼長方向に垂直な断面の面積と、その他の位置の断面の面積との差は、実施形態1の鍛造物と比較して小さくなる。したがって、鍛造工程の次工程である冷却工程において、実施形態1と比較して、鍛造物の内部に熱応力が発生しにくく、鍛造物の翼長方向における塑性変形の発生を抑制し、残留応力の発生を抑制、及び翼部23全体のたわみ、曲げ又はねじれの発生を抑制することができる。
 なお、前述の実施形態1~4における動翼15の製造方法は、蒸気タービンにおける動翼を対象として説明したが、これに限定されるものではなく、例えば、ガスタービン等のその他の回転機械の動翼の製造方法にも適用できる。
 以上、実施形態1~4について説明したが、上述した内容により実施形態1~4が限定されるものではない。また、上述した実施形態1~4の構成要素には、当業者が容易に想到できるもの、実質的に同一のもの、いわゆる均等の範囲のものが含まれる。さらに、上述した構成要素は適宜組み合わせることが可能である。また、実施形態1~4の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で構成要素の種々の省略、置換及び変更を行うことができる。

Claims (9)

  1.  タービン内に回転自在に支持されたロータの外周に、その周方向に沿って複数並設されて固定される動翼の製造方法であって、
     前記動翼の翼部に余肉部を設け、前記翼部の翼長方向の所定位置から翼頂側に向けて、前記余肉部の厚みである余肉量を徐々に大きくした鍛造物を型鍛造して成型する鍛造工程と、
     前記鍛造物から前記余肉部を削り出して前記翼部を形成する機械加工工程と、
     を含むことを特徴とするタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  2.  前記所定位置は、前記翼部の基端部から前記翼部の中央部までの間のいずれかの位置である、請求項1に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  3.  前記所定位置は、前記翼部の基端部から前記翼部に形成されたスタブの位置までの間のいずれかの位置である、請求項1に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  4.  前記所定位置は、前記翼部の基端部から前記翼部の翼長方向の長さの1/4の位置までの間のいずれかの位置である、請求項1に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  5.  前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向の少なくともいずれかの部分における前記翼長方向に垂直な断面について、前記余肉量を前記翼部の前記断面の周囲全体において略均一とした前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  6.  前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向の少なくともいずれかの部分における前記翼長方向に垂直な断面について、前記断面の長手方向の両端部分であるエッジ部における前記余肉量が、前記翼部の前記断面において前記翼部の板厚が最も厚い部分である最大直径部における前記余肉量よりも大きい前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  7.  前記鍛造工程において、前記断面の前記エッジ部における前記鍛造物の板厚が、前記最大直径部における前記鍛造物の板厚以上となるように型鍛造する、請求項6に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  8.  前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向の少なくともいずれかの部分における前記翼長方向に垂直な断面の長手方向の両端部分であるエッジ部における前記余肉量について、前記断面の形状が凹状を呈する側の前記余肉量が、前記断面の形状が凸状を呈する側の前記余肉量よりも小さい前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
  9.  前記鍛造工程において、前記翼部のスタブが形成された位置における前記翼部及び前記余肉部の翼長方向に垂直な断面の前記スタブに設けられた前記余肉部の少なくとも一部の前記余肉量が、前記断面の前記スタブ以外の部分に設けられた前記余肉部の前記余肉量よりも小さい前記鍛造物を型鍛造して成型する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のタービンの動翼の製造方法。
