  • the subject of the invention is a lock of a connection set for structural elements, particularly in the form of wooden beams being the supporting structure of a building.
  • the subject of the invention is also a connection set with locks for structural elements in the form of wooden beams being the supporting structure of a building.
  • the subject of the invention is also the method of joining structural elements with the use of the connection set.
  • Mounting locks are used to mount in the construction industry. They are the elements which facilitate, accelerate and improve the connections between individual elements. Their increasing presence in the market shows that there is a need for more and more new elements allowing more and more complicated connections by introducing an element facilitating and improving the quality, stiffness and possibilities of connections.
  • An additional advantage of mounting locks is their application in connections between more than one plane. They can be responsible for a "3D" connection, that is joining 3 planes simultaneously by using carrying structures in angular elements, making a specific basket joining the carrying elements of a given systemic construction, for example from sandwich plates used to build objects of street architecture, facades and small utility buildings. Each of these elements combined into one structure will allow for the creation of an element of appropriate statics and strength of the materials determined by separate regulations. Elements of steel connectors allow for standardising work, elements and all procedures associated with mounting individual fragments, parts and modules of an object undergoing combination, modernisation or expansion. Thanks to using mounting locks, it is easy to get increased possibilities of connections with their precision and resistance. Using locks in small structures allows for facilitating of mounting individual constructional elements.
