Abstract

La présente invention concerne une boîte à tuyau (20) destinée à être utilisée pour enfermer une extrémité d'un tuyau de drainage (46) dans un plancher à dalle en béton du type qui comporte une dalle en béton (42) et un film pare-vapeur (56), et qui permet un raccord de plomberie au tuyau de drainage. La boîte à tuyau comprend un contenant qui comporte des parois latérales (22), un fond fermé (24) et un bord supérieur (28) qui définit un haut ouvert (26), le haut étant conçu pour recevoir un couvercle (32) ; et une bride (40), qui fait saillie radialement vers l'extérieur, sur les parois latérales, espacée axialement sous le bord supérieur selon une distance (D) approximativement égale à l'épaisseur de la dalle en béton, pour la fixation étanche au film pare-vapeur. La boîte à tuyau (20) est utilisée en étant positionnée dans le sol (48), sur lequel la dalle en béton doit être coulée, la bride étant située à la surface du sol et le tuyau de drainage s'étendant à l'intérieur du contenant à travers l'ouverture (44) dans la paroi latérale. Le film pare-vapeur (56) est posé sur la surface du sol et est scellé à la bride (40). La dalle en béton est coulée sur le sol sur le film pare-vapeur jusqu'à une épaisseur approximativement égale à la distance axiale entre la bride et le bord supérieur du contenant.
