Abstract

Gegenstand der Erfindung sind Verfahren zur Herstellung von Vinylacetat mittels heterogen katalysierter, kontinuierlicher Gasphasenreaktion von Ethylen, Essigsäure und Sauerstoff in einem Reaktor, wobei dabei frei werdende Prozesswärme mittels Wärmetausch an Wasser aus dem Reaktor abgeführt und dadurch Eigendampf gebildet wird, und Auftrennung des den Reaktor verlassenden Produktgemisches enthaltend Ethylen, Vinylacetat, Essigsäure, Wasser, Kohlendioxid und Inertgase mittels Destillation unter Einsatz einer oder mehrerer Azeotropkolonnen und/oder einer oder mehrerer Reindestillationskolonnen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest eine Azeotropkolonne und/oder zumindest eine Reindestillationskolonne Füllkörper enthält und der Eigendampf zumindest teilweise zur Energiezufuhr in eineroder mehrerenso ausgerüsteten Azeotropkolonnen und/oder Reindestillationskolonnen verwertet wird.
