Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement thermique de produits allongés (L), notamment de produits allongés métalliques (L) tels que des fils, des tôles ou analogues en acier, le produit allongé (L) transitant par un four (2) qui comprend au moins un dispositif de chauffage (3) destiné à réchauffer une atmosphère (4), ainsi qu'une entrée (5) et une sortie (6), le produit allongé (L) pouvant être introduit dans le four (2) en passant par l'entrée (5) et pouvant être retiré de celui-ci par la sortie (6), et le produits (L) étant chauffé par l'atmosphère (4) réchauffée au cours de son passage à travers le four (2). Selon l'invention, pour permettre un traitement thermique économique et efficace du produit allongé (L), l'atmosphère (4) suit à l'intérieur du four (2) une trajectoire circulaire (K1), le produit allongé (L) qui traverse le four (2) étant parcouru latéralement. L'invention concerne également un dispositif (1) de traitement thermique de produits allongés (L).
