본 발명에 따른 블록 적층방식의 3Ｄ 프린팅 시스템은 모형을 설계하고 설계된 모형의 설계 데이터를 생성하는 단말기 및 컴퓨터; 단말기 및 컴퓨터로부터 설계된 모형의 설계 데이터를 수신하여, 모형에 사용된 블록의 종류와 수에 따라 발생되는 비용을 정산하고 결제하는 운영서버; 단말기 및 컴퓨터 또는 운영서버로부터 모형의 설계 데이터를 수신받아 모형을 프린팅하는 3D 프린터; 및 단말기 및 컴퓨터와 운영서버 그리고 3D 프린터간의 데이터 전송을 담당하는 통신망;을 포함하여, 일반인이 전문적인 3D 그래픽 기술이 없어도 사용할 수 있도록, 스마트폰과 같은 모바일 기기의 프로그램에서 블록을 불러들여 모형을 쉽게 조립할 수 있도록 하여 그 접근성을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
