Abstract

L'invention concerne un culbuteur (1) en tôle d'acier, comprenant deux parois latérales (3) reliées d'une seule pièce par une traverse (2), lesquelles possèdent respectivement dans la zone de leur centre longitudinal un trou de montage (4) servant à l'appui sur un centre de basculement. Une zone de contact (6) pour une soupape d'échange de gaz est située à une première extrémité du culbuteur (1), sur un côté inférieur (19) de la traverse (2), d'une part, et les parois latérales (3) sont pontées par une surface de contact de came (8) à une deuxième extrémité (7) du culbuteur (1) d'autre part. Le culbuteur (1) se compose de deux parties longitudinales (10, 11) décalées latéralement l'une par rapport à l'autre, la première partie longitudinale (10) s'étendant à partir de la première extrémité (5) et présentant ladite zone de contact (6), et la deuxième partie longitudinale (11) étant formée par un premier sous-segment (12) au niveau des trous de montage (4) et un deuxième sous-segment (13) au niveau de la deuxième extrémité (7) munie de la surface de contact de came (8). Les parties longitudinales (10, 11) sont reliées par deux sections de paroi latérale (14) coudées dans le même sens, les parois latérales (3) présentent au niveau de la deuxième partie longitudinale (11) un profil de paroi entièrement droit, non bombé, orienté orthogonalement par rapport à l'axe de rotation du trou de montage (4), et les parois latérales (3) sont reliées par la traverse (2) sur leur côté supérieur (9).
