 特許文献1のような鉄道車両用の駆動システムにおいては、蓄電装置の電力が車両の推進駆動以外のサービス用電力としても用いられることが通常である。この場合、複数組(複数群)の蓄電装置の電力が共通的に印加されて消費されることになるが、複数群の蓄電装置の電力を可能な限り均等化して使用することが望まれる。
 ところが、各群の蓄電装置間に例えば温度差があると、内部抵抗がより小さい高温側の蓄電装置の使用率が高まるため、使用率が高温側に偏ると共に、高温側の蓄電装置の温度がより上昇するという問題がある。すなわち、従来のハイブリッド駆動システムでは、蓄電装置間の使用率の偏りに起因して、蓄電装置間の寿命を均一化できないという課題が認められる。
 本発明は、上記に鑑みてなされたものであって、蓄電装置間の寿命の均一化を図ることができるハイブリッド駆動システムを提供することを目的とする。

 なお、補助電源装置3の入力側には、補助電源装置3の入力電流を検出するための電流計測器33が設けられる。電流計測器33で得られた電流値(電流計測値)は、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)の双方に電流値I33a,I33bとして入力される。
 つぎに、第1、第2の電力供給装置(11,21)および第1、第2の負荷装置(12,22)の構成について説明する。なお、説明の簡略化のため、2つのハイブリッドシステムのうちの一方、すなわち第1群のハイブリッドシステムを構成する第1の電力供給装置11および第1の負荷装置12について説明する。
 図2は、第1の電力供給装置11の一構成例を示す図である。第1の電力供給装置11は、直流架線51からパンタグラフ52を介して供給された直流電力の電圧値を、出力側に接続される第1の負荷装置12および第1の蓄電装置13に適した直流電圧に変換する直流-直流変換器として動作する。なお、図2では、入力された直流電力の電圧をより低い電圧に変換する降圧DCDCコンバータを一例として示しているが、この構成に限定されるものではない。
 図2に示すように、第1の電力供給装置11の入力側には、電力の授受を自在に行うための各種構成部、具体的には、架線遮断器53、第1の電力供給装置用の第1の接触器である接触器54a、第1の電力供給装置用の第2の接触器である接触器54bおよび、この接触器54bに並列接続される第1の電力供給装置用の充電抵抗器54cが設けられると共に、その後段部には、異常故障時の突入電流を抑制するフィルタリアクトル111、入力電流(Ii)を計測する入力電流計測部112、直流電力を蓄積するフィルタコンデンサ113、入力電圧(Vi)を計測する入力電圧計測部114、スイッチング動作を行う電力供給装置主回路部115、電力変換制御のための出力リアクトル116、出力電流(Ia,Ib,Ic)を計測する出力電流計測部117(117a,117b,117c)および、出力電圧(Vo)を計測する出力電圧計測部118が設けられている。入力電流計測部112および出力電流計測部117が計測した電流情報I11(Ii、Ia,Ib,Ic)、ならびに、入力電圧計測部114および出力電圧計測部118が計測した電圧情報V11(Vi、Vo)は、第1の制御部200aに入力される。なお、図示は省略するが、第2の電力供給装置21においても同様な計測が行われ、計測した電流情報I21(Ii,Ia,Ib,Ic)および電圧情報V21(Vi、Vo)は、第2の制御部200bに入力される。
 第1の制御部200aは、上述した電流情報I11(Ii,Ia,Ib,Ic)、電圧情報V11(Vi、Vo)などに基づいて演算処理を行い、電力供給装置主回路部115に具備される半導体スイッチ(Sa1,Sb1,Sc1,Sa2,Sb2,Sc2)をON,OFF制御するためのPWM制御信号(PWM11)を生成して、第1の電力供給装置11を制御する。この制御により、第1の電力供給装置11は、DCDCコンバータとして機能する。第2の制御部200bにおいても同様な制御が行われ、電流情報I21(Ii,Ia,Ib,Ic)および電圧情報V21(Vi、Vo)などに基づいた演算処理が実行され、電力供給装置主回路部に具備される半導体スイッチをON,OFF制御するためのPWM制御信号(PWM21)が生成して、第2の電力供給装置21を制御する。また、第3の制御部250も同様であり、図示を省略した主回路における電流情報I30および電圧情報V30、などに基づいた演算処理が実行され、この主回路に具備される図示を省略した半導体スイッチをON,OFF制御するためのPWM制御信号(PWM30)を生成して、電力変換装置30を制御する。
 なお、図2では、電力供給装置主回路部115、出力リアクトル116として、三相多重の形態について記載している。これは、三相で構成すれば、電力供給装置主回路部115の各相のスイッチングタイミングを適切にずらすことができるからである。すなわち、三相での構成は、各相の電流リップルの発生タイミングをずらすことにより、第1の電力供給装置11の出力である三相合成出力の電流リップルの振幅を下げ、出力電流の高調波を下げるための構成である。なお、三相以外の形態として、例えば単相で構成してもよく、DCDCコンバータとしての機能を失うものではない。
 つぎに、第1の負荷装置12の構成について説明する。図3は、第1の負荷装置12の一構成例を示す図であり、入力された直流電力の電圧を交流電力の電圧に変換して車両を推進するための駆動力を得る構成例である。
 図3に示すように、第1の負荷装置12には、入力電流(Is)を計測する負荷入力電流計測部121、直流入力電圧の脈動を抑制するフィルタコンデンサ122、入力負荷電圧を計測する負荷入力電圧計測部123、直流電圧を交流電圧に変換するいわゆるインバータ動作のための半導体スイッチ回路である負荷装置主回路部124、この負荷装置主回路部124の出力電流を計測する負荷出力電流計測部125(125a,125b)および、負荷装置主回路部124から供給される交流電力により駆動力を得る交流電動機126a,126bを備えて構成される。負荷入力電流計測部121および負荷出力電流計測部125が計測した電流情報I12(Is、Iu,Iv)および、負荷入力電圧計測部123が計測した電圧情報V12は、第1の制御部200aに入力される。なお、図示は省略するが、第2の負荷装置22においても同様な計測が行われ、計測した電流情報I22(Is,Iu,Iv)および電圧情報V22は、第2の制御部200bに入力される。
 第1の制御部200aは、上述した電流情報I12(Is,Iu,Iv)、電圧情報V12などに基づいて演算処理を行い、負荷装置主回路部124に具備される半導体スイッチ(Su,Sv,Sw,Sx,Sy,Sz)をON,OFF制御するためのPWM制御信号(PWM12)を生成する処理を行う。この制御により、負荷装置主回路部124は、いわゆるインバータとして機能する。
 つぎに、遮断器、接触器などの開閉機器類の機能、動作等について、駆動システム1を用いて説明する。なお、駆動システム2の動作は駆動システム1と同様であるため、説明は省略する。
 接触器54a(図2参照)は、電力供給装置11を運転するときには閉じられ、運転しないとき、何らかの異常が電力供給装置11に発生して即座に運転を停止させる場合などにおいては開かれる。つまり、接触器54aは、電力供給装置11と直流架線51との間を開閉制御するための接触器である。
 電力供給装置11の運転開始に当たっては、電力供給装置11内のフィルタコンデンサ113(図2参照)を速やかに、かつ入力側に過電流を発生させないように充電させる必要がある。そのため、充電抵抗器54cを備えておき、適度な充電電流値を保った上で充電し、充電が完了すると接触器54bを閉じ、充電抵抗器54cの両端を短絡する。一方、その後の通常運転中は、接触器54bは閉じたままとし、充電抵抗器54cで電力を消費させないようにする。
 ヒューズ15(図1参照)は、遮断器16、負荷装置主回路部124などに異常が発生し、過電流が持続的に流れることを防ぐために設けている。遮断器16は、単体としては架線遮断器53と同様の高速遮断器であるが、主として第1の蓄電装置13に起因した過電流を遮断するために設けている。接触器17a、接触器17bおよび充電抵抗器17cは、それぞれ単体としては、接触器54a、接触器54bおよび充電抵抗器54cと同様の機能であるが、接触器17aは第1の蓄電装置13と第1の負荷装置12との間を接続あるいは開放するための接触器である。充電抵抗器17cは、第1の負荷装置12の入力に設けられているフィルタコンデンサ122(図3参照)を充電するために、適切な充電電流に限流するための充電抵抗である。接触器17bは、フィルタコンデンサ122の充電完了後には充電抵抗器17cを短絡し、第1の負荷装置12の駆動時には入力損失を発生させないようにするための接触器である。これら負荷装置用の遮断器、接触器等により、第1の蓄電装置13を第1の負荷装置12あるいは第1の電力供給装置11に安全に接続する一方で、第1の蓄電装置13の非使用時、異常発生時等においては、速やかに第1の蓄電装置13の開放が可能となる。
 なお、第1の制御部200aは、負荷装置主回路部124に制御信号を出力して交流電動機126a,126bに対する駆動制御を行う際、電力供給装置主回路部115を制御し、交流電動機126a,126bに対する駆動制御に見合った第1の電力供給装置11に対する電力変換制御を行うと共に、第1の蓄電装置13に対する充放電制御を行う。
 また、第1の制御部200aは、第1の電力供給装置11、第1の負荷装置12等に異常が発生した場合には、各装置を保護するため、接触器(54a,54b,17a,17b)、遮断器(16)を開放する制御を行い、各装置の起動時には投入の制御を行う。なお、煩雑さを避けるため、図1では、遮断器(16)および接触器(54a,54b,17a,17b)に対する制御信号の入力図示を省略している。
 なお、図1において、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)間で相互に出力される信号PF1,PF2は、第1群もしくは第2群の故障、すなわちシステム間の故障を認識するための信号であり、これ以後、「故障認識信号」と呼称する。
 以上の構成、制御機能等により、第1、第2の負荷装置(12,22)に対し、第1、第2の電力供給装置(11,21)および第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)の双方から電力を供給するハイブリッド駆動が可能となる。
 つぎに、第1群および第2群の駆動システム(1,2)の双方から、補助電源装置3に所要の電力を供給するための制御動作について説明する。
 例えばインバータおよびモータの組合せとして構成される第1、第2の負荷装置(12,22)に対しては同一の出力指令が与えられ、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)は同一容量の蓄電池で構成される。そのため、基本的には、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)における充電量(SOC)や電圧は同様に推移する。一方、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間に温度状況や経年変化によるバラツキがあると、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間には充電量や充電電圧に差異が現れる。このような差異がある場合、各蓄電装置の電圧が上限あるいは下限に差し掛かると、各負荷装置を停止あるいは出力抑制する必要が発生し、駆動システム間での負荷装置の動作が揃わない、各蓄電装置の使用率が均一化できないなどといった状況に陥る。
 そこで、実施の形態1に係るハイブリッド駆動システムでは、駆動システム1,2と共に車両編成中に設けられる補助電源装置3に対し、上述したように、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)からの電力を、出力端(カソード側端子)を突き合わせたダイオード31a,31bを介して、補助電源装置3に電源供給する形態としている。この形態により、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)においては、電位、充電量が大きい側の蓄電装置から補助電源装置3に電力が供給されることとなり、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間における充電量あるいは電圧の均一化(以下「電圧等均一化」と総称)が図れるという効果が得られる。
 なお、蓄電装置間の電圧等均一化については、ダイオードを突き合わせた接続構成のみならず、第1、第2の電力供給装置(11,21)に対する制御手法によっても実現可能である。以下、この制御手法について、図1および図4の図面を参照して説明する。
 図4は、蓄電装置間の電圧等均一化を実現する第1の制御部200aの一構成例を示す図である。第2の制御部200bについても同様に構成される。第1の制御部200aには、加算器212および電力供給補足量演算部214を有する出力電流指令値生成部210と、減算器222および制御器224を有する出力電流制御器220と、が設けられている。
 電力供給補足量演算部214は、例えば電流計測値I33aの1/2(もしくは1/2に相当する成分)を電力供給補足量として加算器212に出力する。加算器212では、電力供給補足量が出力電流指令値Iref1(符号を用いないときは「第1の出力電流指令値」と記す)にて加算され、その加算値が出力電流指令値Iref2(符号を用いないときは「第2の出力電流指令値」と記す)として出力電流制御器220に入力される。
 出力電流制御器220では、減算器222にて出力電流指令値Iref2と電流計測値I33aとが引き算され、その差分値が例えばPI制御器である制御器224に入力され、出力電圧指令値が生成される。この出力電圧指令値によりPWM制御信号PWM11が生成される。
 上述の制御により、第1群の駆動システム1において生成される電力から第1の負荷装置12が必要とする電力を差し引いた電力(第1の余剰電力)と、第2群の駆動システム2において生成される電力から第2の負荷装置22が必要とする電力を差し引いた電力(第2の余剰電力)とが均等に配分される。つまり、補助電源装置3が消費する電力量の配分(補足)が第1、第2の電力供給装置(11,21)間で均等に行われるため、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間の電圧等均一化を実現することが可能となる。
 なお、何れかの駆動システムに異常が発生し、当該システムの保護のために動作を停止させた場合には、残った健全側の駆動システムのみで、補助電源装置3の必要電力を負担する必要がある。この場合には、上述した故障認識信号PF1,PF2を使用した制御を行う。具体的には、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)は故障認識信号PF1,PF2を授受しておき、故障認識信号PF1,PF2にて他群のシステムの故障や停止を認識した場合には、上記のように電流計測値I33aの1/2(もしくは1/2に相当する成分)を電力供給補足量とはせずに、電流計測値I33aそのもの(もしくは相当成分)、すなわち健全時の2倍の成分を電力供給補足量として加算器212に出力すればよい。
 また、図1では、補助電源装置3の入力電流を計測するための電流計測器として、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)の双方に共通な電流計測器33を用いる構成としたが、図5に示すように、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)専用にそれぞれの電流計測器33a,33bを設け、それぞれの計測値を第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)のそれぞれに出力するようにしてもよい。この構成により、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)を含む第1群、第2群の駆動システム(1,2)の主要なハードウェアを並列化することができ、システムの冗長性を確保できるという効果を得る。
 また、図5のように、専用の電流計測器33a,33bを備えた上で、図6に示すように、電流計測器33a,33bの各出力を第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)の双方に入力するようにすれば、何れか一方の電流計測器の故障に対しても運転を継続することができ、さらなる冗長性の確保が可能となる。
 例えば、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)のそれぞれにおいて、電流計測器33a,33bの計測電流値を常時比較し、その電流値の差異の絶対値が予め設定された閾値以内である場合には、電流計測器33a,33bの双方共に正常であると判定する。このとき、各制御部においては、何れか一方(例えば、電流計測器33a)の1/2(もしくは1/2に相当する成分)、または、双方の計測値の平均値を使用すればよい。
 また、計測電流値の差異の絶対値が予め設定されたしきい値を超えた場合には、何れかの電流計測器が故障したと判定し、例えば補助電源装置3の通常の入力電流の範囲外となっている側の電流計測器による電流計測値は破棄し、健全な電流計測器の出力信号の1/2を、各制御部において共通的に使用すればよい。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態1のハイブリッド駆動システムによれば、直流電力を供給する第1、第2の電力供給装置、第1、第2の電力供給装置のそれぞれに接続され、直流電力を蓄積または放出する第1、第2の蓄電装置、第1の電力供給装置および第1の蓄電装置から直流電力の供給を受けて第1の負荷を駆動する第1の負荷装置ならびに、第2の電力供給装置および第2の蓄電装置から直流電力の供給を受けて第2の負荷を駆動する第2の負荷装置を備え、第1の蓄電装置の出力側にアノード側端子を接続した第1のダイオード、第2の蓄電装置の出力側にアノード側端子を接続した第2のダイオードおよび、第1、第2のダイオードのカソード側端子を接続し、その接続端子を入力端子として接続した補助電源装置を備えることとしたので、蓄電装置間における充電量あるいは電圧を均一化することができ、その結果、蓄電装置間の寿命の均一化を図ることが可能となる効果が得られる。
 また、実施の形態1のハイブリッド駆動システムによれば、補助電源装置への入力電流を検出する電流計測器で得られた電流値に基づいて同一量の第1、第2の電力供給補足量を算出し、これら第1、第2の電力供給補足量をそれぞれ第1、第2の蓄電装置に対する指令値として付与することとしたので、第1、第2の蓄電装置間における充電量あるいは電圧の均一化を尚一層促進することができるという効果が得られる。
 また、実施の形態1のハイブリッド駆動システムによれば、第1、第2の電力供給装置の何れか1つが運用を停止した場合、健全動作を継続しているもう一方の電力供給装置に対し、健全時の2倍の電力供給補足量を出力する制御、すなわち運用停止した電力供給装置が出力する予定であった電力を健全側の電力供給装置が肩代わりする制御を行うので、システム故障があった場合でも、第1、第2の蓄電装置間における充電量あるいは電圧を均一化する制御が可能になるという効果が得られる。
 なお、計測値を第1、第2の制御部の双方に入力する2つの電流計測器を備えることが好ましい。この構成により、何れかの電流検出器が故障した場合にも、第1、第2の蓄電装置間における充電量あるいは電圧の均一化を図るための運転制御を継続することができるという効果、システム構成を冗長化できる効果、電流計測器間にオフセット等の誤差があっても、誤差の影響を低減した電力供給補足量を算出できるという効果が得られる。
実施の形態2.
 図7は、実施の形態2に係るハイブリッド駆動システムの一構成例として図4とは異なる第1の制御部200aの構成を示す図である。図4では、電流計測値I33aのみを電力供給補足量演算部214に入力する構成であるが、図7に示す実施の形態2では、電流計測値I33aおよび電圧計測値V30の双方を電力供給補足量演算部214に入力する構成である。
 図4の構成において、電圧計測値V30の値が安定していてほぼ一定である場合には、図4の構成と図7の構成とは等価と見なすことができる。一方、補助電源装置3に接続される負荷により、補助電源装置3の入力電圧の変動が無視できない場合には、図7のように、電圧計測値V30の情報を用いることに意味がある。
 図7の構成の場合、電力供給補足量演算部214は、電流計測値I33aと電圧計測値V30とに基づいて、補助電源装置3に供給される入力電力値を算出すると共に、算出した入力電力値の1/2を電力供給補足量として加算器212に出力する。なお、その後の処理は、実施の形態1と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。
 上述の制御により、実施の形態1と同様に、第1群の駆動システム1において生成される電力から第1の負荷装置12が必要とする電力を差し引いた第1の余剰電力と、第2群の駆動システム2において生成される電力から第2の負荷装置22が必要とする電力を差し引いた第2の余剰電力とが均等に配分され、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間の電圧等均一化を実現することができ、蓄電装置間の寿命の均一化を図ることが可能となる。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態2のハイブリッド駆動システムによれば、補助電源装置への入力電流を検出する電流計測器で得られた電流値と補助電源装置への入力電圧を検出する電圧検出器で得られた電圧値との積に基づいて同一量の第1、第2の電力供給補足量を算出し、これら第1、第2の電力供給補足量がそれぞれ第1、第2の蓄電装置に対する指令値として付与することとしたので、第1、第2の蓄電装置間における充電量あるいは電圧の均一化を尚一層促進できるという効果が得られる。
実施の形態3.
 実施の形態3に係るハイブリッド駆動システムでは、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間の温度差を考慮した制御手法について説明する。
 実施の形態1,2では、蓄電装置間の電圧等均一化を図るための第1群、第2群の駆動システム(1,2)を個別に制御する第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)における制御動作を中心に説明してきたが、蓄電装置間における使用率均一化という観点を更に考慮すれば、より好ましい実施形態となる。以下、実施の形態3では、蓄電装置間の使用率均一化という観点を更に考慮した場合の第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)の制御動作について説明する。
 蓄電装置間において、使用率の均一化を図るためには、蓄電装置間の温度状態を考慮する必要がある。鉄道車両を例にとり説明すると、第1群、第2群の駆動システム(1,2)のそれぞれに設けられる第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)は、室内に設けられる場合もあれば、屋根上や床下に配置される場合もある。このような配置例の場合、隣接する他の機器の稼働状態、稼働時の排熱量の大小、走行時の機器周囲風速量の大小等により、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)内部の電池セルの温度が均一ではない状況が起こり得る。
 電池セルの化学的特性で決まる内部抵抗特性は、特にリチウムイオン電池の場合、低温側の方が抵抗値が大きく、電流を充放電しにくいという特性を有することが多い。なお、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)をそれぞれ接続する第1、第2の電力供給装置(11、21)は、基本的には第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)の電流自体を制御できるものの、電池セルの内部抵抗が大きい場合には、当然電圧降下も大きい。このような状況下においては、電池セルへの印加電圧として守るべき電圧上限、電圧下限という制限に抵触しやすくなり、充放電電流指令値を絞り込む必要性が生じ、実際の充放電が抑制されてしまう。よって、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間に温度差がある場合、低温側の装置の充放電量、稼働率が低下することとなる。
 そこで、この実施の形態3では、図8に示すように、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)のそれぞれに電池セルの代表温度を計測する温度検出センサ36a,36bを設けておき、両温度情報を、第1、第2の制御部200a,200bにそれぞれ与え、温度差の有無、何れの蓄電装置がより高温なのか等を判定し、温度が低い方の蓄電装置のSOC(State of Chargeの略で充電状態を表す指標)を、温度が高いほうのSOCより高めに制御する制御シーケンス(以下「温度差縮小モード」と称する)を、第1、第2の制御部(200a,200b)に設定する。
 こうすることで、低温側の蓄電装置により多くの電荷を充電することができ、低温側の電圧降下が大きくとも、放電時の低電圧保護にかかりにくくなり、装置の運転の継続性を高めることが可能となる。また、充電時には過電圧保護、充電電流指令の絞り込みが低温側の蓄電装置、低温側の電力供給装置で発生することになる。しかしながら、本制御により、充電時間が延びるため、昇温しやすくなり、蓄電装置間の温度差を縮小させることが可能となる。
 なお、上記したような、「温度差縮小モード」を用いるには、例えば蓄電装置13,23の電池セル間の代表温度の差異(以下単に「温度差」と称する)ΔTの絶対値が設定値T1[K]以上(|ΔT|≧T1)となった場合に、「温度差縮小モード」に移行させ、また、例えば|ΔT|≦T2[K](ただし、T2<T1)となった場合、すなわち温度差が縮小されたことが確認された場合には、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)共に同一のSOC目標値を設定する「通常モード」に遷移させるようにする。このような、T2とT1に適切な差(T1>T2)を設けるような、いわゆるヒステリシス動作をさせることで、「温度差縮小モード」と「通常モード」の間を適宜切り替える際に起こり得るチャタリングを防止することができる。
 上述の制御を行う、実施の形態3に係るハイブリッド駆動システムによれば、実施の形態1,2に係るハイブリッド駆動システムに比して、第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間の電圧等均一化をより一層促進させることができ、その結果電圧等均一化をより迅速に実行することが可能となる。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態3のハイブリッド駆動システムによれば、第1の蓄電装置の内部温度と、第2の蓄電装置の内部温度との温度差が閾値を超えた場合には、低温側の蓄電装置の電圧もしくは充電量を、高温側の蓄電装置の電圧もしくは充電量よりも大きくなるように、高温側の蓄電装置に接続された電力供給装置を制御することとしたので、第1、第2の蓄電装置間における充電量あるいは電圧の均一化を尚一層促進できるという効果が得られる。
実施の形態4.
 図9は、実施の形態4に係るハイブリッド駆動システムの一構成例を示す図である。実施の形態1におけるハイブリッド駆動システムが、直流架線51による直流電力を入力とすることに対し、実施の形態4におけるハイブリッド駆動システムは、交流架線61の交流電力を入力とする形態である。具体的には、電力供給装置11b,21bの入力側に変圧器66が設けられると共に、変圧器66の1次側に印加される電圧(変圧器1次電圧:Vi)を計測する入力電圧計測部114が設けられている。なお、図9において、実施の形態1と同一または同等の構成部には同一の符号を付して、重複する説明は省略する。
 交流架線61からの交流電力は、パンタグラフ62、架線遮断器63を介して、変圧器66の一次巻線に入力される。変圧器66は、駆動システムの数に応じた二次巻線の組数を有しており、架線電圧を、後段の電力供給装置(11b,21b)にある電流供給装置主回路部115bに適した電圧に降圧する。変圧器66の二次巻線からの出力は、一旦、接触器64a,64bおよび充電抵抗器64cを介して入力される。図9において、接触器64a,64bおよび充電抵抗器64cの接続については、接触器64bが、充電操作時のみ閉路される形態を示している。こうすることで充電操作後において、接触器64bは開放することが可能であり、充電抵抗器64cでの通電発熱を抑制することが可能である。
 実施の形態4における第1、第2の電力供給装置(11b,21b)は、供給された交流電力を、第1,第2の負荷装置(12,22)および第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)に適した直流電圧の直流電力に変換する装置である。変圧器66の一次側電圧を計測する入力電圧計測部114および電力供給装置11b,21b内の出力電圧計測部118による電圧情報V11,V21(Vi,Vo)ならびに、電力供給装置11b,21b内の入力電流計測部112による電流情報I11,I21(Ii)に基づき、図9では図示しない各制御部において、電力供給装置11b,21bのそれぞれに具備される電力供給装置主回路部115bを構成する半導体スイッチ(Sa1,Sb1,Sa2,Sb2)に対するオンオフ信号が生成される。この制御により、電力供給装置11b,21bにおいて、交流-直流変換動作が行われる。
 ここで、負荷装置12,22は、鉄道車両を推進制御するための推進制御装置であってもよいし、鉄道車両における推進制御装置以外の機器に電力を供給するための補助電力供給装置であってもよい。負荷装置12,22が推進制御装置である場合、負荷装置12,22は、供給された直流電力を可変周波数可変電圧振幅の交流電力に変換する電力変換装置、交流電力により駆動される交流電動機および、交流電動機が出力する駆動力を車輪に伝える走行装置を備えて構成される。また、負荷装置12,22が補助電力供給装置である場合、負荷装置12,22は、供給された直流電力を一定周波数一定電圧振幅の交流電力に変換し、車両に搭載された機器に供給する動作を行う。
 この実施の形態4においても、交流架線61を走行するという条件下において、実施の形態1~3と同様の効果、すなわち第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間の電圧等均一化を実現することができ、蓄電装置間の寿命の均一化を図ることが可能となる。
実施の形態5.
 図10は、実施の形態5に係るハイブリッド駆動システムの一構成例を示す図である。実施の形態1~4が架線(実施の形態1~3:直流架線、実施の形態4:交流架線)からの電力を入力とすることに対し、実施の形態5では、電力発生装置を内燃機関および発電機とする構成である。なお、図10において、実施の形態1と同一または同等の構成部には同一の符号を付して、重複する説明は省略する。
 エンジン71は、例えばディーゼルエンジン等の内燃機関である。エンジン71の機械出力軸と、発電機72の回転軸とは直結され、もしくは不図示のギア、プーリ等を介して接続される。発電機72は交流発電機であり、例えば三相交流出力が得られ、電力供給装置11cに入力される。なお、図示の通り、エンジン71、発電機72および、電力供給装置11cは、ハイブリッド駆動システムの構成要素であり、群の組数だけ配置、接続することを基本とする。
 電力供給装置11cは、発電機72からの交流電力を、第1の蓄電装置13および第1の負荷装置12に対する直流電力に変換する電力変換器であり、以下の信号授受により動作する。
 電力供給装置11cから直流電源を出力させたい場合、まずエンジン71に対して、速度指令もしくは速度指令に相当するデジタルビット信号であるノッチ信号SP_ENG1が出力される。エンジン71は、当該指令に沿った速度特性で運転を開始する。その上で、電力供給装置11cにて得られる入力電流情報、出力電圧情報に基づいて発電機72のトルク制御が実行される。このような制御により、発電機72にて、速度×トルクに応じた電力が発生すると共に、電力供給装置11cの主回路動作により、直流電力出力が得られる。
 この実施の形態5においても、電力発生装置を内燃機関および発電機とする構成下において、実施の形態1~3と同様の効果、すなわち第1、第2の蓄電装置(13,23)間の電圧等均一化を実現することができ、蓄電装置間の寿命の均一化を図ることが可能となる。
 なお、図示は省略するが、電力供給装置への入力は、燃料電池等の他の電力源であってもよいことは言うまでもない。
実施の形態6.
 図11は、実施の形態6に係るハイブリッド駆動システムの一構成例を示す図である。実施の形態1では、駆動システムが編成中に2つ存在する場合を例示したものであるが、実施の形態6では、駆動システムが編成中に3つ以上存在する場合を例示するものである。具体的には、駆動システムの数をnとした場合に、n個の出力をn個のダイオード(31a,31b,…,31n)のカソード側端子を突き合わせて構成したものである。なお、図11において、実施の形態1と同一または同等の構成部には同一の符号を付して、重複する説明は省略する。
 n個の駆動システムの全てが健全である場合には、各制御部に設けられる電力供給補足量演算部214は、電流計測値I33aの1/n(もしくは1/nに相当する成分)を電力供給補足量として加算器212に出力すればよい。その後の処理は、実施の形態1と同様である。
 また、n個の駆動システムのうちm個(m<n)の駆動システムが健全であり、残りの駆動システムが故障もしくは非稼働である場合には、電流計測値I33aの1/m(もしくは1/mに相当する成分)を電力供給補足量として加算器212に出力すればよい。
 なお、駆動システムの数が多い場合には、図11にも示すように、第1~第nの制御部の状態情報を監視・制御する統合制御部300を設け、機能を分担することが、信号処理、装置構成を簡易化する上で有用である。このような構成の場合、統合制御部300に電流計測値(I33a,I33b,……)を集め、故障認識信号(PF1,PF2,……)を統合制御部300から第1~第nの制御部に出力することで、実施の形態1と同様な制御を実現することが可能となる。
 この実施の形態6においても、実施の形態1~3と同様の効果、すなわち第1~第nの蓄電装置(13,23,……)間の電圧等均一化を実現することができ、蓄電装置間の寿命の均一化を図ることが可能となる。
 なお、以上の実施の形態に示した構成は、本発明の構成の一例であり、別の公知の技術と組み合わせることも可能であるし、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で、一部を省略する等、変更して構成することも可能であることは言うまでもない。
 以上のように、本発明は、蓄電装置間の寿命を均一化することができるハイブリッド駆動システムとして有用である。

Claims (17)

  1.  直流電力を供給する第1、第2の電力供給装置と、前記第1、第2の電力供給装置のそれぞれに接続され、直流電力を蓄積または放出する第1、第2の蓄電装置と、前記第1の電力供給装置および前記第1の蓄電装置から直流電力の供給を受けて第1の負荷を駆動する第1の負荷装置と、前記第2の電力供給装置および前記第2の蓄電装置から直流電力の供給を受けて第2の負荷を駆動する第2の負荷装置と、を備えたハイブリッド駆動システムであって、
     前記第1の蓄電装置の出力側にアノード側端子を接続した第1のダイオードと、
     前記第2の蓄電装置の出力側にアノード側端子を接続した第2のダイオードと、
     前記第1、第2のダイオードのカソード側端子を接続し、その接続端子を入力端子として接続した補助電源装置と、
     を備えたことを特徴とするハイブリッド駆動システム。
  2.  前記補助電源装置は車両の推進駆動以外の電力を出力する装置であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  3.  前記補助電源装置への入力電流を検出する電流計測器を備え、前記電流計測器で得られた電流値に基づいて同一量の第1、第2の電力供給補足量を算出し、これら第1、第2の電力供給補足量がそれぞれ前記第1、第2の蓄電装置に対する指令値として与えられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  4.  前記補助電源装置への入力電流を検出する電流計測器と、
     この補助電源装置への入力電圧を検出する電圧検出器と、
     を備え、
     前記電流計測器で得られた電流値と前記電圧検出器で得られた電圧値との積に基づいて同一量の第1、第2の電力供給補足量を算出し、これら第1、第2の電力供給補足量がそれぞれ前記第1、第2の蓄電装置に対する指令値として与えられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  5.  前記第1の電力供給装置および前記第1の負荷装置は第1の制御部にて個別に制御され、前記第2の電力供給装置および前記第2の負荷装置は第2の制御部にて個別に制御される構成であり、
     前記第1、第2の制御部のそれぞれは、
     前記補助電源装置への入力電流を検出する電流計測器で得られた電流値に基づいて算出した電力供給補足量を用いて出力電流指令値を生成する出力電流指令値生成部と、
     前記電流計測器で得られた電流値が前記出力電流指令値に追従するような出力電圧指令値を生成してそれぞれの電力供給装置に出力する出力電流制御器と、
     を備え、
     前記第1の制御部にて算出される電力供給補足量と、前記第2の制御部にて算出される電力供給補足量とが同一量であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  6.  前記第1の電力供給装置および前記第1の負荷装置は第1の制御部にて個別に制御され、前記第2の電力供給装置および前記第2の負荷装置は第2の制御部にて個別に制御される構成であり、
     前記第1、第2の制御部のそれぞれは、
     前記補助電源装置への入力電流を検出する電流計測器で得られた電流値と、前記補助電源装置への入力電圧を検出する電圧検出器で得られた電圧値との積に基づいて算出した電力供給補足量を用いて出力電流指令値を生成する出力電流指令値生成部と、
     前記電流計測器で得られた電流値が前記出力電流指令値に追従するような出力電圧指令値を生成してそれぞれの電力供給装置に出力する出力電流制御器と、
     を備え、
     前記第1の制御部にて算出される電力供給補足量と、前記第2の制御部にて算出される電力供給補足量とが同一量であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  7.  前記電流計測器は、計測値を前記第1の制御部に入力する第1の電流計測器と、計測値を前記第2の制御部に入力する第2の電流計測器とから成ることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  8.  前記電流計測器は、計測値を前記第1、第2の制御部の双方に入力する第1の電流計測器と、計測値を前記第1、第2の制御部の双方に入力する第2の電流計測器とから成り、
     前記第1、第2の制御部の出力電流指令値生成部は、それぞれの計測値の平均値を用いて出力電流指令値を生成することを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  9.  前記第1、第2の制御部のそれぞれは、前記第1の電流計測器の計測値と、前記第2の電流計測器の計測値との差異が閾値を超えた場合には、何れかの電流計測器が故障したと判定し、健全な電流計測器の計測値を用いて前記出力電流指令値を生成することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  10.  前記第1、第2の電力供給装置の双方が健全に動作を継続している場合、前記電流計測器の計測値の1/2に相当する成分を前記電力供給補足量として算出することを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  11.  前記第1、第2の電力供給装置の何れか1つが運用を停止した場合、健全動作を継続しているもう一方の電力供給装置に対し、健全時の2倍の電力供給補足量に基づいて算出された出力電圧指令値が付与されることを特徴とする請求項5または6に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  12.  前記第1、第2の蓄電装置の内部温度をそれぞれ計測する第1、第2の温度検出センサを備え、
     前記第1の蓄電装置の内部温度と、前記第2の蓄電装置の内部温度との温度差が閾値を超えた場合には、低温側の蓄電装置の電圧もしくは充電量を、高温側の蓄電装置の電圧もしくは充電量よりも大きくなるように、前記高温側の蓄電装置に接続された電力供給装置を制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  13.  前記第1、第2の電力供給装置は、直流架線から供給された直流電力の電圧値を、前記蓄電装置に適した直流電圧に変換する直流-直流変換器であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  14.  前記第1、第2の電力供給装置は、交流架線から供給された交流電力を、前記蓄電装置に適した直流電圧の直流電力に変換する交流-直流変換器であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  15.  前記第1、第2の電力供給装置は、内燃機関により駆動される発電機と、前記発電機から供給された交流電力を、前記蓄電装置に適した直流電圧の直流電力に変換する交流-直流変換器であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  16.  前記第1、第2の電力供給装置は、燃料電池と、この燃料電池から供給された直流電力を、前記蓄電装置に適した直流電圧の直流電力に変換する直流-直流変換器であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のハイブリッド駆動システム。
  17.  直流電力を供給する電力供給装置と、前記電力供給装置に接続され直流電力を蓄積または放出する蓄電装置と、前記電力供給装置と前記蓄電装置から直流電力の供給を受けて負荷を駆動する負荷装置と、をそれぞれ備えた駆動システムを複数個備えると共に、
     カソード側端子同士が共通接続され、それぞれのアノード側端子は複数の前記蓄電装置の出力端に電気的に接続されるダイオードを複数個備え、
     前記共通接続されたカソード側端子を通じて、複数の前記蓄電装置の出力が供給される補助電源装置を備えて成ることを特徴とするハイブリッド駆動システム。
