Eine Vorrichtung zum Unterstützen eines Kurswechsels eines Fahrzeugs (1) weist eine Erfassungseinrichtung (10) zum Erfassen eines Abstands sowie einer Geschwindigkeit wenigstens eines zu dem Fahrzeug (1) rückwärtigen Fahrzeugs (2) und eine Anzeigeeinrichtung (11A, 11B, 11C) zum Anzeigen eines Hinweises auf den erfassten Abstand und die erfasste Geschwindigkeit des rückwärtigen Fahrzeugs (2) auf.
