L'invention concerne un amortisseur informatisé (3) et un procédé de conception d'un amortisseur informatisé (3) raccordé à une commande d'embrayage et servant à amortir des vibrations de broutage d'un couple d'embrayage que doit transmettre un embrayage à friction automatisé qui est disposé entre un moteur à combustion interne et une boîte de vitesses et qui est commandé par la commande d'embrayage, une vitesse de rotation d'entrée de boîte de vitesses (r(g)) étant détectée à la sortie de l'embrayage à friction au moyen de l'amortisseur informatisé (3) et le couple d'embrayage de consigne (m(k)), soumis à des vibrations de broutage, étant corrigé au moyen d'une rétroaction négative. Pour concevoir l'amortisseur informatisé (3), une caractéristique de transmission est déterminée par un système de régulation (2) de la commande d'embrayage lorsque le couple d'embrayage de consigne est excité dans une gamme de fréquences pertinente pour les vibrations de broutage, une première réponse fréquentielle non amortie de la vitesse de rotation d'entrée de boîte de vitesses (r(g)) et une seconde réponse fréquentielle à la sortie de l'amortisseur informatisé (3) sont déterminées pour cette caractéristique de transmission et la rétroaction négative de l'amortisseur informatisé (3) est déterminée par comparaison des deux réponses fréquentielles.
