Those packages differ mainly by their respective volume size and consequently weight. Particularly, portion packs are available in different volumes ranging from about 80ml to several 100ml. Portion packages are normally consumed at once and due to their smaller volume suitable not only for adults, but also for children or teenagers.

  • the primary package may further comprise an opening for access to the food product, wherein the cover also covers that opening.

  • the package assembly comprises at least one primary package adapted to contain a product, a secondary package attached to the at least one primary package to retain the at least one primary package, a space positioned between the at least one primary package and the secondary package, the space having an opening and being adapted to accommodate an item associated with the product, a supplementary package adapted to contain the item, and a flap attached to the supplementary package and arranged at the opening of the space, such that at least a portion of the supplementary package will follow the flap when the flap is removed from the package assembly.
