- the present invention corresponds to a floating platform composed of a flotation system, a lift system, an anchor system and other accessory systems.
- the Flotation System comprises a main unit that is a floating structure (1), which contains a slab or top plate (1.1) and bottom (1.2) and vertical walls (1.3). These plates can be joined or fused together and form a structure that generates cavities and volumes (1.4) that can accommodate inside elements of materials with densities less than 1.5. The materials that are housed between the cavities are restricted in their movement by the aforementioned plates.
- the lift system (2) is where the platform sits in the dry season.
- This system can be implemented superficially or deeply. Superficially it is constructed in the form of slab (s) or plate (s) (2.1). When it is deep, it is composed of different elements such as shoes, piles, micropiles, among others. These supports can be joined by means of mooring beams which form a grounded structure. On this structure perches (or supports) the floating platform in dry season. In either case, this element (s) corresponds to a support between the platform and the ground and its horizontality at the time of its settlement on land; at the same time they constitute a sedimentation tank without the platform being inclined.
- it can have support beams (2.2) above the lift system that form evacuation channels for sedimentation (2.3).
- the Anchoring System (3) restricts the horizontal movement of the platform and enables its vertical movement in the presence of flooding.
- the restriction of movement can be by means of: a) Vertical guide columns (3.1) anchored to ground, which prevent the horizontal movements of the floating platform (1) through direct contact. Optionally, it can have contact plates (3.2) attached to the floating platform (1) that reduce friction and absorb impacts with the column surfaces vertical guides (3.1); b) Flexible elements (3.3) that restrict the horizontal movements of the floating platform (1) by means of tensioners, metal gems, ropes or dead weights anchored to any surface or element anchored or fixed on the ground; c) Flexible elements and vertical guide columns (3.4) grounded and flexible elements fixed to the floating platform (1) that hold and restrict horizontal movements; d) Rigid elements (3.5) that slide along vertical guide columns or are anchored directly to the ground by means of bars, rings, trusses or pivots, among other elements that are attached to the platform for restricting horizontal movements.
- the Anchoring System (3) can simultaneously present rigid and flexible elements, which may or may not be restricted by vertical Guide Columns (3.1).
- the floating platform (1) remains seated by means of support beams (3.2) on the lift system (2) in dry seasons. Both own and supported loads are distributed on the ground through the lift system.
- the Anchoring System (3) joins or not the lift System (2) or is independent.
- the Anchoring System (3) is configured secured to any fixed element on the ground or also anchored to the Lifting System (2).
- the floating platform (1) is related to the Anchoring System (3) by means of vertical Guide Columns (3.1) with or without contact plates (3.2), Flexible Elements (3.3) by means of tensioners, metal gems, ropes or dead weights , Flexible Elements and vertical guide columns (3.4) or Rigid Elements (3.5). Any of these elements restrict horizontal movement and at the same time they allow the floating platform (1) to rise vertically with the flood level.
- the previously defined systems form a unit that allows to generate a vertical ascent of the floating platform (1) with the flood level.
- this unit is restricted in its horizontal movements by the Anchoring System (3), which forms the subsequent ground support through the Lifting System (2).
- the Anchoring System (3) is not related to the Flotation System (1). Both systems remain in their original place and without interaction between them. However, the Flotation System (1) is related to the Lifting System through the floating platform, which remains grounded on the Lifting System. The lift system (2) receives and distributes the platform's own loads on the ground.
- the Anchor System (3) is directly related to the Flotation System (1) at the time of the start of the flotation and according to the restriction of horizontal movement by one of the different anchor options proposed in The present invention. In this way, the direct relationship between the Flotation System (1) and the Support System (2) in the absence of flooding is lost, giving way to the direct interaction between the Flotation System (1) and the Anchoring System (3 ).
- the present invention also includes other accessory systems such as access systems, interconnection and / or fastening elements for enclosures that are located on the platform. Preferred Modalities
- the present invention corresponds to a platform with a system of several columns, located in each of the corners and in the middle of each edge of the quadrilateral of the lift system (2).
- This column system refers to the emptying of the connection element between the superstructure and the shoes and ensures that the solicitations are distributed evenly in the lift system.
- the beams of the platform are anchored, then the columns are erect and the beams are pernated, so that there is a fixation between them.
- the platform with columns in each of its corners may have a rigid fixation to the shoes, to the lift system (2).
- This fixation is rigid by means of rods and plates.
- This system requires assembling to the platform before finishing the emptying of the mortar and the top plate.
- This rigid fixation system comprises triangular-shaped rods, truss-type, in order to better distribute the impact of the platform against possible turbulence. Through an iron plate hoop, internally covered with rubber, it seeks to restrict the horizontal movement of the platform and cushion the impact of the efforts it may have in the presence of movement.
- the platform with columns in each of the corners may have a flexible fixing to the shoes, to the lift system (2).
- This fixation is flexible by means of a smaller amount of rods than the one used in the rigid fixation and similar clamping elements.
- This system needs to be assembled to the platform before finishing the emptying of the mortar and the top plate.
- This flexible fixing system comprises a similar guide or fastener for the purpose of restricting the displacement of the platform by means of tension.
- Another preferred embodiment of the present invention corresponds to a platform without columns in the corners.
- This columnless system comprises the emptying of the connection element between the superstructure and the shoes, and ensures that the requests are distributed evenly in the lift system.
- This platform system without columns in the corners can be fixed to the Flexible lift system.
- This fixation is flexible by means of a smaller amount of rods than that used in rigid fixation, and similar fasteners or fasteners.
- This system needs to be assembled to the platform before finishing the emptying of the mortar and the top plate.
- This flexible fixing system comprises a similar guide or fastener for the purpose of restricting the displacement of the platform by means of tension. Examples
- the platform of the invention was constructed as described in continuation:
- the construction of the platform in the open field was carried out at an average ambient temperature of 37 ° C and the setting time of each partition was approximately 1 day. Subsequently, at these periods of time the prefabricated elements of the forms were demoulded.
- Fitted expanded polystyrene cases were placed in the cavities formed by the partitions.
- guaya was used in order to restrict the displacement of the platform by means of tension.
- the amphibious structure of the present invention was tested on a prototype floating platform of the invention on a smaller scale. During this test the tank was filled and the platform was lifted without any weight on it.
- the amphibious structure of the present invention presented two states: one seated on the ground, its initial state, zero state (0) and another elevated by an increase in the water level, its final state, referred to as state (1).
- the present invention was compared with the type of construction of the Dutch floating platforms.
- the platforms were compared with the same sizes and dimensions in their width, length and height, representing the same volume - of dislodged water and generating the same buoyant force for the two platforms.
- the present invention is made up of thin slender plates and the Dutch type platform has Thick thicknesses up to 20 cm thick built in reinforced concrete generating a greater platform weight per m 2 .
- the dimensions tested corresponded to platforms 7.5 meters wide and long, 70 cm high.
- the present invention had its own weight 208 Kg / m 2 and can support approximately 492 Kg / m 2 .
- the weight / load ratio of the platform of the invention favorable because it is lighter than the capacity it can support.
- the Dutch type platform presented its own weight of 602 Kg / m 2 and can support 98 Kg / m 2 .
- the load capacity ratio of the present invention is 2.36 greater than its own weight, which means that it can support a little more than twice its own weight during flotation.
- the Dutch-type construction platform has a ratio of 0.16 which means that it could only load 16% of its own weight.
- the volume of the platform in any of its dimensions would have to be increased by 80%; for example, increase its height of 70 cm to a draft of 125 cm.
- the upper plate of the floating platform was loaded with 4092 kg, which were obtained and distributed as follows: five 500 L water tanks that contributed a total weight of 2500 kg; and 31 lumps of sand and crushed that contributed the remaining weight equivalent to 1560 kg. All this was mounted on pallets to distribute the loads and not apply them concentrated on a single point. These last simulated dead loads in sand and crushed lumps with weights of approximately 50 Kg, previously weighed, were located on the upper outer perimeter of the platform simulating the construction system of the house. On several occasions the loads to which the platform was subjected to move the center of mass and cause balancing without any sign of deterioration were changed.
