Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Abscheidung von Quecksilber (Hg) in Abgasen von Verbrennungsanlagen, in welchem ein katalytisch aktives Material mit einem mittleren Korndurchmesser < 35 pm in das Verbrennungsabgas zudosiert wird, wobei das vorhandene elementare Quecksilber oxidiert und resultierendes oxidiertes Quecksilber im Prozess über Adsorptions und Absorptionsprozesse an bereits bestehender Anlagentechnik abgeschieden wird. Die verstärkte Bildung von oxidiertem Quecksilber wird dabei in einem Temperaturbereich < 500 °C durchgeführt wird.
