Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une bande d'étoupe comprenant : une étape dans laquelle une pluralité de filaments sont transportés vers l'aval dans une direction de transport suite au transport de la pluralité de filaments de manière à venir en contact avec une surface circonférentielle d'un guide-fils de filage (6) en rotation ; et une étape dans laquelle la pluralité de filaments transportés depuis le guide-fils de filage (6) sont insérés et frisés entre une paire de rouleaux à platines (16, 17) rotatifs, dans un dispositif à friser (9) équipé de la paire de rouleaux à platines (16, 17) et disposé plus loin sur le côté aval dans la direction de transport que le guide-fils de filage (6). La pluralité de filaments ont un denier de filament de 5 à 15 et un denier total de 10 000 à 25 000. La pluralité de filaments sont insérés dans un état suffisamment lâche pour être transportés entre la paire de rouleaux à platines (16, 17).
