Abstract

Eine Lufttrocknerpatrone (10), insbesondere für eine Druckluftaufbereitungsanlage eines Nutzfahrzeugs, weist ein Patronengehäuse (14) mit einem geschlossenen Gehäusedeckel (16); ein in dem Patronengehäuse (14) aufgenommenes Trockenmittel (60); einen Befestigungsflansch (18) zum Verschließen einer dem Gehäusedeckel abgewandten offenen Stirnseite des Patronengehäuses (14) und Befestigen der Lufttrocknerpatrone (10) an einer Duckluftaufbereitungsvorrichtung (30); und einen Dichtring (70), der an der dem Gehäusedeckel abgewandten Stirnseite der Lufttrocknerpatrone (10) zum Abdichten der Lufttrocknerpatrone (10) gegenüber einer Druckluftaufbereitungsvorrichtung (30) in radialer Richtung quer zu einer Längsachse (12) der Lufttrocknerpatrone angeordnet ist, auf. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Lufttrocknerpatrone beträgt ein Überstandsmaß (78) eines maximalen Außendurchmessers (68) des Patronengehäuses (14) gegenüber einem maximalen Außendurchmesser des Dichtrings (70) in radialer Richtung quer zur Längsachse (12) der Lufttrocknerpatrone (10) höchstens etwa 5% des maximalen Außendurchmessers (68) des Patronengehäuses (14) oder höchstens etwa 6 mm beträgt.
