Abstract
Das Dynamic Balancing System dient der intraoperativen Messung der Seitenbandspannung im Kniegelenk zum Zwecke der bestmöglichen Funktionalität nach Implantation von Totalknieendoprothesen. Das System besteht aus Single-Use Inlays in 10 verschiedenen Größen mit integrierter Sensorik zur Messung der Druckverteilungskurve und damit der indirekten Bandspannungsfeststellung, und dem Auswertemodul, das die Daten übersetzt und an einen Computer/Tablet/Smartphone mittels entsprechendem Datenkabel sendet. Die Inlays sind zu allen gängigen Prothesentypen kompatibel, also plattformunabhängig. Die Messung erfolgt zu Beginn, während und am Ende der Operation. Mittels einer entsprechenden Software werden die Daten visuell als„Passend, mäßig passend oder nicht passend" in den Farben Grün, Gelb und Rot dargestellt. Entsprechend der Farbgebung weiß der Nutzer, ob die Bandspannung adäquat, zu stark oder zu schwach ist. Durch diese Messung ist eine bestmögliche Anpassung des Implantates an die gegebenen Verhältnisse möglich.
