- a problem with the prior art oven is that the user may forget to mount the partition while using the dual cooking function. In such instances the desired cooking results may not be achieved, and thus the cooking performance may degrade.
- An objective of the present invention is to provide an oven which solves the aforementioned problems of the prior art in a cost-effective way and which enables an improved operability and an improved cooking performance.
- the oven of the present invention further comprises: a switch unit which is adapted to detect the presence/absence of the partition, and to output a signal which is indicative of the presence/absence of the partition, wherein the control unit is further adapted to control the heating unit based on the signal outputted by the switch unit.
- a major advantageous effect of the present invention is that the operability of the oven has been improved by virtue of the switch unit. Thereby, the user can use the dual cooking function more reliably, and thus achieve the desired cooking results. Thereby also the risk to safety of the user can be reduced, and the user satisfaction can be increased.

- This embodiment is particularly advantageous as user can be prevented from using the dual cooking function in the absence of the partition.

Abstract
La présente invention concerne un four (1) comprenant : une cavité (2) servant à la cuisson des aliments ; une cloison (3) servant à diviser la cavité (2) en deux parties (4) de cavité servant chacune à la cuisson des aliments, la cloison (3) étant disposée de manière amovible dans la cavité (2) ; une unité de chauffage (5) servant à chauffer sélectivement les parties (4) de cavité ; une unité de commande (6) servant à commander l'unité de chauffage (5), l'unité de commande (6) comportant une double fonction de cuisson. Le four comprend en outre une unité de commutation (7) conçue pour détecter la présence ou l'absence de la cloison (3), et pour émettre un signal indiquant la présence ou l'absence de la cloison (3), l'unité de commande (6) étant conçue en outre pour commander l'unité de chauffage (5) sur la base du signal émis par l'unité de commutation (7).
