Description
この発明は、無声放電により酸素を含むガスからオゾンを生成するオゾン発生装置の電源装置に関するものである。
一般的にオゾン発生器(オゾナイザ)用電源装置は、大容量のトランス、リアクトル、インバータを備え、さらに高電圧が印加されている。さらにこれらの機器を冷却する必要があり、熱交換器を介して電源装置の機器が組み込まれている盤内の冷却を行っている。特許文献1には、熱交換器の結露での流路抵抗増加に伴う冷却効率低下を避けるため、流路抵抗が支配的な部位での結露を抑制することにより冷却性能に優れた筐体を得ることを目的としていることが記載されている。
特許文献2、3には、熱交換器を筐体下部に配置することによって熱交換器が結露した場合の内部部品の損傷を防止しながら、発熱する内部機器を冷却していることが記載されている。また、特許文献4には、熱交換器をケーシング内にケーシングの底部に対して鋭角に傾斜して配置することによって、凝縮水を確実に外部に排出できることが記載されている。
従来の、例えば100kW以上の電力を供給するオゾン発生器用電源装置は、トランス、リアクトル、インバータがそれぞれ大きく重いので、それぞれ異なる筐体内に配置されることが多かった。また、それぞれの発熱密度が高いので個別の熱交換器、ファンを用いて専用の風洞を設けて冷却風が十分に当たるような構造設計を行い冷却を行っていた。さらに、高電圧が印加される装置であるので、絶縁距離を十分に確保しながら、安全上の観点から感電防止用の仕切り板を配置するなど寸法が大きくなり、かつ構造が複雑な装置である。このため、メンテナンスが必要な機器の配置、作業のし易さ、安全性が問われる装置である。
この発明は、上記のような問題点を解決するためになされたものであり、機器の配置と冷却を最適化した、小型で簡単な構造のオゾン発生器用電源装置を得ることを目的とする。さらに高電圧が印加される装置であるので、絶縁距離を確保しながら、メンテナンスの際の作業のし易い構造、安全性の高いオゾン発生器用電源装置を得ることを目的とする。
この発明に係るオゾン発生器用電源装置は、商用交流電源からの電圧を変圧するトランスと、このトランスにより変圧された交流電圧をより高い周波数の交流電圧に変換するインバータと、このインバータの出力に接続されたリアクトルとを備え、無声放電により酸素を含むガスからオゾンを生成するオゾン発生器に電力を供給するオゾン発生器用電源装置において、トランスと、インバータと、リアクトルとが一つの筐体の内部に設置されており、筐体の内部の下方には、通過する空気を冷却水により冷却する扁平な形状の熱交換器が設置され、熱交換器の上方にトランスおよびインバータが設置され、トランスおよびインバータの上方にリアクトルが設置され、トランスおよびインバータよりも筐体の正面側に筐体の正面扉と間隔を隔てて保護用パネルが設置され、正面扉の内側となる位置に設置されたファンにより、冷却風が、正面扉と保護用パネルの間の空間である風路、熱交換器と筐体の底面との間の空間、熱交換器、トランスおよびインバータ、リアクトル、ファン、の順に通過して循環するよう構成されているものである。
この発明によれば、トランス、リアクトル、インバータを同一の筐体内に配置し、高電圧から隔離する保護用パネルと正面扉の間を風路とするとともに正面扉の内側となる位置にファンを設けて、熱交換器で熱交換される冷却風を筐体内で循環させるようにしたため、ファンのメンテナンスの作業が容易で、筐体の小型化が可能なオゾン発生器用電源装置を得ることができる。
実施の形態1.
以下、この発明の実施の形態1によるオゾン発生器用電源装置を図1から図7に基づいて説明する。図1は本発明におけるオゾン発生器用電源装置20の構造の一例を示す断面側面図、図2は筐体の正面扉を開けて正面から見た場合の内部図、図3は筐体の上部から見た場合の内部図、図4は風路仕切り板の上方から見た筐体内部を示す内部図、図5は風路仕切り板の構成を示す平面図、図6は熱交換器の外形を示す上面図、図7は熱交換器の外形を示す側面図である。図1から図3に示すように筐体1の内部の下部に、通過する空気を冷却水により冷却する扁平な形状の熱交換器2、その直上に風路仕切り板10を配置する。トランス3とインバータ4は風路仕切り板10の上方に筐体の奥行き方向に配置させ筐体1の高さを抑制し、その上方にリアクトル取付板16を設けてリアクトル5を配置する。さらに筐体1内部の正面側には、ファン7を設置し、正面扉11と保護用パネル9の間に風路8を形成している。ファン7は、この実施の形態では筐体1の正面扉11の内側となる位置に設置されている。また筐体1下部には熱交換器2に冷却水を供給するための冷水配管6を備えている。なお、図1において、筐体内部を循環する空気を破線の矢印で示している。
以下、この発明の実施の形態1によるオゾン発生器用電源装置を図1から図7に基づいて説明する。図1は本発明におけるオゾン発生器用電源装置20の構造の一例を示す断面側面図、図2は筐体の正面扉を開けて正面から見た場合の内部図、図3は筐体の上部から見た場合の内部図、図4は風路仕切り板の上方から見た筐体内部を示す内部図、図5は風路仕切り板の構成を示す平面図、図6は熱交換器の外形を示す上面図、図7は熱交換器の外形を示す側面図である。図1から図3に示すように筐体1の内部の下部に、通過する空気を冷却水により冷却する扁平な形状の熱交換器2、その直上に風路仕切り板10を配置する。トランス3とインバータ4は風路仕切り板10の上方に筐体の奥行き方向に配置させ筐体1の高さを抑制し、その上方にリアクトル取付板16を設けてリアクトル5を配置する。さらに筐体1内部の正面側には、ファン7を設置し、正面扉11と保護用パネル9の間に風路8を形成している。ファン7は、この実施の形態では筐体1の正面扉11の内側となる位置に設置されている。また筐体1下部には熱交換器2に冷却水を供給するための冷水配管6を備えている。なお、図1において、筐体内部を循環する空気を破線の矢印で示している。
図1に示すように、熱交換器2は、扁平に伸びる方向が筐体1の正面側から背面側に向かって下り勾配に傾いて配置している。熱交換器2が占めるスペースが大きくならないよう、傾斜角度は、水平方向との成す角が鋭角(45度以下)、好ましくは25度以下となるよう傾けるのが良い。この配置により、筐体1正面の風路8から続く、熱交換器2と筐体の底面との間の風路となる空間において、風路8からの入口側の風路となる空間を大きくし、出口側の風路となる空間を狭くする構成となっている。これにより、風路の圧力損失を軽減し、筐体1正面の風路8から遠い筐体1背面にもファン7からの冷却風が流れ易い構造とした。さらに、図1および図4に示すように、風路8から筐体1下部に導入された冷却風が、熱交換器2を介して筐体1上部に流れていくように、熱交換器2の直上に、筐体1と熱交換器2との間の隙間となる部分を塞ぐ風路仕切り板10を設けている。すなわち、風路仕切り板10は、図5に示すように、熱交換器2を通過した空気のみが上部に流れるよう、周辺部10bが塞がれて風路遮蔽部となり、中央部10aが空いて風路となるように構成されている。このため、冷却風は熱交換器2を介して筐体1上部に流れていくしかなく、冷却風の冷却が効率よく行われる。
トランス3とインバータ4は発熱量が多く、構造が複雑で冷却が難しい。また、インバータ4は半導体スイッチを内蔵するため半導体破損を防ぐには温度を下げる必要がある。このため、トランス3とインバータ4を熱交換器2直上に配置することにより、筐体1内で最も冷却された冷却風で冷却することが可能でトランス3とインバータ4の最高温度を抑制出来る。トランス3は、筐体1背面に5mmから50mm程度離して配置することで筐体1の背面パネルを風路の仕切として併用可能で、トランス3内部もしくは外部表面に積極的に冷却風を流すことが出来る。筐体1背面とトランス3の距離は少なくともトランス3に印加される電圧を考慮して必要な絶縁距離分は離さなければならない。さらにトランス3とインバータ4の距離も5から100mm程度離して配置することで、インバータ4の背面側を風路として併用可能で、トランス3内部もしくは外部表面に積極的に冷却風を流すことが出来る。ただし、トランス3とインバータ4の距離は少なくともトランス3とインバータ4に印加される電位差を考慮して必要な絶縁距離分は離さなければならない。さらに、重量が重いトランス3が筐体1の下部に配置されることで、筐体1の重心が下がり輸送振動、耐震設計上も有利に働く。
本発明によるオゾン発生器用電源装置は、無声放電によるオゾン発生器に電力を供給するための電源装置である。無声放電によるオゾン発生器は、電源装置の負荷として容量性の負荷であり、通常、電源の出力側にリアクトルを設ける。このリアクトル5を、トランス3及びインバータ4の上方に配置されたリアクトル取付板16の上に取り付け、トランス3、インバータ4を冷却したあとの冷却風を用いて冷却を行う。リアクトル取付板16のリアクトルの下部になる部分には冷却風が流れるように開口を設けている。リアクトル5に当たる冷却風の温度は上昇しているが、筐体1を流れる冷却風全てを使って冷却可能であるので、リアクトルは十分に冷却できる。さらに、リアクトル5が十分に冷却できている場合は、リアクトル取付板16を小さくする、またはリアクトルの下部になる部分以外の部分にも開口を設けることで、リアクトル5に流す冷却風量を調節することができる。この場合、冷却風の圧損が減るので、ファン7の台数を減らす、あるいは能力の低いファンを使用することが可能で、冷却に用いる電力とコストを抑制できる。
ここで、リアクトル5として空芯コイルのリアクトルを用いることもできる。この場合、空芯コイルの空芯部分も風路とすることでリアクトル5の冷却を効率よく行うことができる。また、空芯コイルのリアクトルを採用することで重量が軽くなるため、筐体の構造を簡素にでき、輸送振動、耐震設計上も有利な構造にできる。
ファン7は正面扉11の内側となる位置に配置される。ファン7はメンテナンス必須部品であり、正面扉11を開けるだけでメンテナンスが可能であり、メンテナンス時の作業効率が格段に上がる。従来、ファンは筐体上部もしくは下部、または背面に配置されており、メンテナンスのための専用のパネルを開けたり、脚立を用いた作業や身を屈めた作業が必要であった。ファン7を正面扉11の内側となる位置に配置することで、従来に比べて作業性が大幅に改善される。さらにファン7と高電圧が印加されるインバータ4との間には接地された保護用パネル9が配置されているので、ファン7交換作業時に誤ってインバータ4に接触することが起こらない安全な構造である。このため、作業者の精神面での負担が大幅に軽減され、より正確で迅速な作業が可能である。このように、ファンの交換作業に特別な技術を要しないため、故障時にはユーザ自身で迅速に交換作業を行うことが可能である。
風路8は高電圧が印加されるインバータ4を隔離するための保護用パネル9と筐体1の正面扉11により構成され、風路専用の構造部材を有さない。構造部材を共有化することで筐体1の小型化、簡易化、コスト低減が可能である。また、風路8は筐体1の正面側に設け、さらに、図2および図5に示すように、ファン7を筐体1の正面側に左右均等配置となるように設けることで、特に冷却風ガイドなどの構造体を設けることなく、筐体1全体に冷却風を循環させることが可能である。このため、筐体1正面側の温度ムラがなくなり、温度上昇を緩和出来るため装置の安全性が向上する。さらに筐体1全体が風路となるため筐体表面の温度が均一になり結露しにくい構造で信頼性があがる。
図1、図6および図7に示すように、冷水配管6は、筐体の正面側から背面側に向かって下り勾配に傾いて設置された熱交換器2内の冷却水が、冷却水入口2cから冷却水出口2dに向かって、すなわち下から上に向かって流れる構造となっている。また、最上部に空気抜き弁2bを設けることで空気溜まりのない冷水配管を構成することが可能であり、熱交換器の熱交換能力を使い切ることができる。さらに長期間停止などの際の冷水凍結防止のための水抜きも容易に作業可能でメンテナンス性が向上する。
熱交換器2は、図6の上面図および図7の側面図に示すように、銅管2eに板状のフィン2fを挿入しており、銅管2eに流す冷却水とフィン2fの間を通過する気体との間で熱交換を行うように構成されている。フィン2fは、フィンの面が、筐体1の上下方向に平行、かつ筐体1の前後方向(正面-背面方向)に平行な方向となるよう取り付けられている。フィンを筐体1の前後方向に平行な方向に取り付けることで、冷却風は熱交換器2を通過する際に、熱交換器2の全面を通り抜けることができる。フィンの取り付け方向が筐体1の前後方向に垂直な向きの場合は、筐体1背面側から熱交換器2に導入された冷却風が、熱交換器2の正面側に拡散することができないため熱交換器2の能力を活かしきれていないことになる。さらに熱交換器2に導入される冷却風の風量は筐体1背面側から導入される方が多いので、フィンの取り付け方向が筐体1の前後方向に垂直な向きの場合は圧損が増加する。このため筐体1を流れる冷却風全体の風量が低下し筐体1の冷却能力を低下させる。
熱交換器2を筐体1下部に配置したので、熱交換器2に冷却水を導入するための冷水配管6は、熱交換器2が筐体1の中央あるいは上部に配置されるよりも短く構成できるため、配管材料の無駄がなく、かつ冷水が流れる距離が減るので圧損も軽減される。さらに熱交換器2が筐体1の中央あるいは上部に配置される場合は、主に銅管ヘアピン部からの水漏れまたは結露に備えて筐体1の電気部品に水がかからないように専用のパンやトレイのような保護部材が必要である。筐体1内部にはトランス3やインバータ4、リアクトル5といった高電圧の機器が配置されているので、保護部材と高電圧機器の間には絶縁距離を設ける必要があり、筐体1の寸法が大きくなる要因となっていた。熱交換器2を筐体1下部に配置し、風路仕切り10を設けたので、風路仕切り10が、銅管2eのヘアピン部から水漏れが生じ、水が吹き出た場合でもトランス3、インバータ4に水が届くのを防止するガードの役目を果たす。結露した水滴は斜めに配置した熱交換器2本体を伝って熱交換器2最下端から滴るので電気部品に水がかかる心配がなく装置が故障する心配がない。さらに電気部品の水濡れ対策のために専用の対策を講じているわけではないので、使用部材が増えることなく小型かつ簡素で信頼性の高い構造を実現可能である。
熱交換器2の銅管2eには冷却水を流すが、しばしば冷却水の圧力損失が問題となることがある。冷却水の圧力損失が大きくなると冷却水を流すためのポンプ容量を大きくする必要があり、使用する電力とコストが増大する。熱交換器2の銅管2eはヘッダ2aを有し、筐体1内で発生する熱量に応じて、銅管2eを並列に増減可能(図7に示す構成では銅管2eを3本並列にしているが、2本あるいは4本、5本、6本と増減可能)な構造にしているので、熱交換器2内の銅管による圧力損失を増加させることなく、熱交換を行うことが可能である。さらに熱交換器2の長さを調整する、すなわち銅管の長さを調整することで、任意の圧力損失に調整することが可能である。
図2に示すように、保護用パネル9は保守用窓9c、9dを有し、インバータユニットの正常または故障状態を保護用パネル9を取り外さずとも容易に確認出来る構造としている。保護用パネル9を取り外さないので、作業が簡略化出来るとともに高圧部分が露出せず、安全に状態確認が可能である。さらに、取手9a、9bを設け、インバータユニットのメンテナンス時には、パネルを容易に取り外せる構造となっており、メンテナンス員が1人でも保護用パネル9を落とすことなく、容易に着脱可能である。
以上のように、実施の形態1によるオゾン発生器用電源装置は、トランス、リアクトル、インバータを同一の筐体内に配置し、高電圧から隔離する保護用パネル9と正面扉11の間を風路とするとともに正面扉の内側となる位置にファンを設けて、熱交換器で熱交換される冷却風を筐体内で循環させるようにしたため、ファンのメンテナンスの作業が容易で、筐体の小型化が可能なオゾン発生器用電源装置を得ることができる。
実施の形態2.
図8から図11は本発明の実施の形態2による、オゾン発生器用電源装置のトランス3の下部に設置された冷却風ガイド31の構成を示す断面図である。図8は冷却風がガイドされて開口310からトランスに向けて流れるように構成した基本的な冷却風ガイド31を示している。また、図9は開口310のトランス側に垂直なガイド板311を設けた冷却風ガイド31を示している。図10は開口310のトランス側に傾斜したガイド板312を設けた冷却風ガイド31を示している。さらに、図11はトランス3の左右側面に流れる風を取り込むために冷却風ガイド31の側面にもガイド板313を設けた構造を示している。
図8から図11は本発明の実施の形態2による、オゾン発生器用電源装置のトランス3の下部に設置された冷却風ガイド31の構成を示す断面図である。図8は冷却風がガイドされて開口310からトランスに向けて流れるように構成した基本的な冷却風ガイド31を示している。また、図9は開口310のトランス側に垂直なガイド板311を設けた冷却風ガイド31を示している。図10は開口310のトランス側に傾斜したガイド板312を設けた冷却風ガイド31を示している。さらに、図11はトランス3の左右側面に流れる風を取り込むために冷却風ガイド31の側面にもガイド板313を設けた構造を示している。
実施の形態1では、トランス3専用の冷却構造を有しなかったが、特にトランス3は構造が複雑であり、外部表面のみに冷却風を流すより、トランス3内部に積極的に冷却風を流した方が効率がよい。このため実施の形態2では、図8から図11に示すように、トランス3を積極的に冷却する冷却風ガイド31をトランスの下部に設けている。図8の冷却風ガイド及び図11の冷却風ガイド31はそれぞれ単独で構成可能である。図9の冷却風ガイド31及び図10の冷却風ガイド31はそれぞれ図8との組み合わせで構成する。上記のように冷却風ガイド31を設けることによって、トランス3内部に積極的に冷却風が流れるので、冷却効率が向上し、トランス3をより小型に構成することが可能である。さらにファン7の台数を減らしたり、能力の低いファンを使用することが可能で、冷却に要する電力とコストを抑制できる。
実施の形態3.
図12は、本発明の実施の形態3によるオゾン発生器用電源装置の構成を示す側面断面図である。本実施の形態3では、図12に示すように、トランス3を冷却するための正面のトランス冷却用ファン12及び背面のトランス冷却用ファン13を設置している。

本実施の形態3は、実施の形態1と同じ構成のオゾン発生器用電源装置に、トランス3を強制的に冷却するために、トランスに向かって直接冷却風を吹き付ける専用のトランス冷却用ファンを設けたものであって、トランス3の正面、及び背面に配置する。ファンは軸流ファン、ラインフローファンなどを用いることが可能で、必要に応じて、正面のトランス冷却用ファン12を省略することや、背面のトランス冷却用ファン13を省略することも可能で任意に冷却能力を調整することが出来る。
実施の形態4.
図13はこの発明の実施の形態4によるオゾン発生装置の概略構成を示すブロック図である。無声放電により酸素を含むガスからオゾンを生成するオゾン発生器50に電力を供給する電源として、実施の形態1から3で説明したオゾン発生器用電源を複数台並列に接続した電源を用いる。オゾン発生装置は、ユーザーによって、様々なオゾン発生量の装置が要求される。このため、電源装置としては、種々の容量の電源装置を揃えておく必要がある。これに対し、実施の形態4によるオゾン発生装置では、実施の形態1から3のいずれかの、一定容量、例えば100kWのオゾン発生器用電源を1ユニットとし、このユニットを例えば4ユニット並列に接続してオゾン発生器に供給する構成により400kWのオゾン発生器用電源とする。この一例を示すのが図13のブロック図である。
図13はこの発明の実施の形態4によるオゾン発生装置の概略構成を示すブロック図である。無声放電により酸素を含むガスからオゾンを生成するオゾン発生器50に電力を供給する電源として、実施の形態1から3で説明したオゾン発生器用電源を複数台並列に接続した電源を用いる。オゾン発生装置は、ユーザーによって、様々なオゾン発生量の装置が要求される。このため、電源装置としては、種々の容量の電源装置を揃えておく必要がある。これに対し、実施の形態4によるオゾン発生装置では、実施の形態1から3のいずれかの、一定容量、例えば100kWのオゾン発生器用電源を1ユニットとし、このユニットを例えば4ユニット並列に接続してオゾン発生器に供給する構成により400kWのオゾン発生器用電源とする。この一例を示すのが図13のブロック図である。
商用交流電源60から、開閉器70を介して、各オゾン発生器用電源装置20a、20b、20c、20dのそれぞれのトランス3a、3b、3c、3dに接続される。トランス3a、3b、3c、3dは、それぞれ商用交流電源からの電圧を変圧する。トランスで変圧された交流電圧は、インバータ4a、4b、4c、4dにより、商用交流電源の周波数より高い周波数の交流電圧に変換され、リアクトル5a、5b、5c、5dを介して出力され、これらの出力が結合されてオゾン発生器50に電力が供給される。したがって、各オゾン発生器用電源装置20a、20b、20c、20dのトランス3a、3b、3c、3dは、オゾン発生器全体に供給される電力よりも小さい電力容量のトランスとなっている。もちろん、各オゾン発生器用電源装置20a、20b、20c、20dのその他の機器もオゾン発生器全体に供給される電力よりも小さい電力容量の機器となっている。リアクトル5a、5b、5c、5dは、ユニット化された電力容量に適した値とするため、ユニット化せずに、オゾン発生器全体に対して1個のリアクトルを用いる場合に比較して小さい値のリアクトルとすることができる。このため、上述の空芯コイルのリアクトルを有効に用いることができる。
図13では、1ユニット100kWの容量のオゾン発生器用電源装置を4ユニット用いて400kWのオゾン発生器に電力を供給する構成としたが、200kWのオゾン発生器であれば1ユニット100kWの容量のオゾン発生器用電源装置を2ユニット用いる構成とすればよい。このように、一定容量のオゾン発生器用電源装置を1ユニットとすることで、1ユニットの容量の複数(N)倍の容量のオゾン発生器に電力を供給する電源としてはオゾン発生器用電源装置をNユニット接続すればよい。オゾン発生器の容量ごとに電源装置を設計する必要がなく、電源の設計が単純化できる。筐体は独立した構成となっているので、並列に構成される複数台の筐体と同じ構造、同じ結線、同じ発熱、同じ冷却が可能である。上記の構成とすることで、所定容量の筐体の設計を行い、評価を行っておくことで、所定容量のN倍への大容量に容易に対応可能となる。また、それぞれのユニットのオゾン発生器用電源装置の出力側にリアクトルが接続されているため、他のユニットから電流が流れ込むことが抑制され、複数のオゾン発生器用電源装置を簡単に接続することができる。
以上のように、実施の形態4によるオゾン発生装置における1ユニットのオゾン発生器用電源装置では、トランスをはじめとする機器の電力容量が、オゾン発生器全体に供給される電力よりも小さい電力容量であり、この電源装置単独では、オゾン発生器全体の電力容量を賄えない。このオゾン発生器用電源装置を、オゾン発生器の電力容量に応じた台数用いてオゾン発生器全体に電力を供給するよう構成することで、オゾン発生器の容量毎に、電源装置の機器の配置、結線、冷却設計を行う必要がなく、設計、検証に費やす時間とコストを削減することが出来る。
また、ユニット中の冷却風は正面→下→背面→正面の方向に循環しているので、複数のユニットを並列に接続する際に隣り合ったユニット間の壁をなくしても冷却風の流れは影響を受けない。従って、ユニット間の仕切り壁をなくせるので装置を安価に出来る。
なお、本発明は、その発明の範囲内において、各実施の形態を組み合わせたり、実施の形態を適宜、変形、省略することが可能である。

- 商用交流電源からの電圧を変圧するトランスと、このトランスにより変圧された交流電圧をより高い周波数の交流電圧に変換するインバータと、このインバータの出力に接続されたリアクトルとを備え、無声放電により酸素を含むガスからオゾンを生成するオゾン発生器に電力を供給するオゾン発生器用電源装置において、
前記トランスと、前記インバータと、前記リアクトルとが一つの筐体の内部に設置されており、
前記筐体の内部の下部には、通過する空気を冷却水により冷却する扁平な形状の熱交換器が設置され、

- 前記リアクトルは、空芯コイルのリアクトルであり、空芯部分を、前記冷却風が通過するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のオゾン発生器用電源装置。
