- Figure 1 illustrates an Automatic Vehicle Tracking System which contains:
- Moving vehicles on road are depicted as A, B & C, this is just for an example. These vehicles could be of any type ie a small two wheeler, auto three wheeler, motor car, SUV, passenger busses of various sizes, trucks of various sizes, heavy duty vehicles, tractors or any other vehicle.
- Line 'L' depicts the QR Code reader or RFID reader embedded in the ground. Any vehicle passing over this line will be read by the QR Code or RFID reader and this information passed on to a Centralized Processing Unit where such data will be stored and analyzed on a continuous basis ie 24 X 7 X 365 days.
- All moving vehicles ie in the given diagram A, B and C will carry a QR Code or RFID chip below the chassis of such vehicle. This chip preferably, will be on the front side of the vehicle.

When any vehicle passes over it the QR Code or RFID reader will read the information of persons travelling in the vehicle including that of the driver. This information will be passed on to a Centralized Processing Unit where such data will be stored and analyzed on a continuous basis ie 24 X 7 X 365 days.

- Line 'A' at various intersections depicts the QR Code reader or RFID reader embedded in the ground. Any vehicle passing over this line will be read by the QR Code or RFID reader and this information passed on to a Centralized Processing Unit where such data will be stored and analyzed on a continuous basis ie 24 X 7 X 365 days.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un système de suivi automatique de véhicule et de conducteur à gestion intelligente de la circulation qui est constitué d'un dispositif à technologie QR Code (Quick Response Code) ou RFID (identification à radiofréquence) et de son lecteur. Le lecteur est incorporé au sol près de divers signaux où les véhicules s'arrêtent généralement ou en des lieux où le suivi de la vitesse ou de l'entrée ou autre de véhicules est requis. Ces QR Code ou RFID sont placés dans des véhicules, ce qui permet de les suivre dès lors qu'ils passent au-dessus du lecteur incorporé sur le sol. De manière similaire, des dispositifs à QR Code (Quick Response Code) ou RFID (identification à radiofréquence) sont placés sur des permis du conducteur et des personnes qui l'accompagnent voyageant dans le véhicule. Lorsque le véhicule passe au-dessus du lecteur, il suit les personnes conduisant le véhicule, les passagers qui l'accompagnent. Ces instruments assurent un suivi en ligne des véhicules, des conducteurs et des personnes voyageant dans de tels véhicules.
