Abstract
L'invention peut s'utiliser pour protéger les yeux du conducteur contre l'aveuglement par les phares d'une automobile arrivant en sens inverse ou par une lumière du soleil trop vive. Les lunettes pour conducteur comprennent des filtres de lumière et des diaphragmes optiques en fente pour chaque œil, disposés à un niveau à l'horizontale. Le diaphragme optique se présente comme une partie du milieu optique étirée horizontalement entre le filtres lumineux et exempte de ceux-ci ; dans sa partie médiane elle se présente comme une fente optique étroite sur toute sa longueur au-delà des limites de laquelle le jour s'élargit des deux côtés de manière à former les parties périphériques du diaphragme optique qui sont réalisées à une telle distance sur la longueur que la superficie de chacune des parties périphériques du diaphragme optique est supérieure à la surface de la fente optique. Le résultat technique consiste à créer un effet protecteur contre le soleil pour la vision binoculaire centrale tout en préservant une pleine vision périphérique grâce à la possibilité d'assurer des flux lumineux d'intensité et de puissance différentes pour les visions périphérique et centrale.
