  • suveric acid significantly increased the concentrations of VEGF and IGF-1, which are growth factors involved in hair growth stimulation, by 36% and 18%, respectively (FIG. 3). Therefore, it can be seen that the suveric acid according to the present invention has an excellent hair growth promoting effect.
  • cAMP is a mediator that amplifies the signals of hormones or growth factors associated with cell surface receptors and transmits them into cells. It is known that cAMP synthesized in the cytoplasm regulates the activity of PKA C ⁇ . In human dermal papilla cells, suberic acid significantly increased cAMP concentration by 55% (FIG. 4). This suggests that subversive acid activates the Wnt / ⁇ -catenin hair regulatory signal transduction system induced by PKA C ⁇ by increasing cAMP concentration in human dermal papilla cells.
