Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un applicateur de produit cosmétique du type pinceau. Cet applicateur comprend une touffe de poils (1) formant une surface d'application (SI) concave et un doigt (2) doté d'une surface de réception (S2) qui communique avec la surface d'application (SI) de sorte que du produit cosmétique fluide reçu sur la surface de réception (S2) puisse s'écouler de la surface de réception (S2) à la surface d'application (SI).

Description

Pinceau pour produit cosmétique fluide ou visqueux
La présente invention se rapporte au domaine de l'industrie cosmétique et concerne plus spécifiquement un applicateur de produit cosmétique du type pinceau.
Par l'expression « produit cosmétique », on entend toute substance ou préparation visée à l'article L658-1 du Code de la santé publique, c'est-à-dire notamment une substance ou une préparation destinée à être mise en contact avec les diverses parties superficielles du corps humain en vue de les nettoyer, les protéger, les maintenir en bon état, d'en modifier l'aspect, de les parfumer ou d'en corriger l'odeur.
On connaît dans l'état de la technique antérieure de ce domaine des pinceaux permettant d'appliquer un produit cosmétique sur une surface cible telle que le visage, les cheveux, les ongles, ou le corps. Ces pinceaux comprennent typiquement une touffe de poils dotés chacun d'une extrémité libre, les extrémités libres des poils formant une surface d'application.
Des inconvénients des pinceaux connus dans l'état de la technique antérieure concernent le maintien et la répartition du produit cosmétique sur la surface d'application. En particulier, un produit cosmétique fluide tel qu'un fond de teint liquide a tendance à s'écouler au sein de la touffe de poils ce qui entraîne un gaspillage de produit cosmétique et limite l'efficacité de son application sur la surface cible.
La présente invention a notamment pour but de surmonter les inconvénients précités et propose à cet effet un applicateur de produit cosmétique comprenant une touffe de poils dotés chacun d'une extrémité libre, les extrémités libres des poils formant une surface d'application permettant d'appliquer du produit cosmétique sur une surface cible. Les poils peuvent être synthétiques ou naturels. La surface cible peut consister en toute partie superficielle d'un corps humain telle que le visage, les cheveux ou encore les ongles.
L'applicateur selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que la surface d'application est concave et en ce qu'il comprend en outre un doigt s'étendant à travers la touffe de poils. Ce doigt présente une surface de réception de produit cosmétique. La surface de réception communique avec la surface d'application de sorte que du produit cosmétique fluide reçu sur la surface de réception puisse s'écouler de la surface de réception à la surface d'application.
Par l'expression « produit cosmétique fluide », on entend un produit cosmétique susceptible d'écoulement. Ce produit cosmétique peut donc être liquide ou peut présenter une viscosité plus importante qu'un liquide. Par exemple, le produit cosmétique peut être un gel, une crème, une huile, un sérum, ou encore une solution aqueuse ou liquide.
Un tel applicateur permet de déposer du produit cosmétique fluide sur la surface de réception puis de faire couler efficacement ce produit sur la surface d'application. Par exemple, on peut positionner l'applicateur de sorte que la surface de réception soit horizontale lors du dépôt du produit sur cette surface. On peut ensuite déplacer l'applicateur de manière à incliner la surface de réception par rapport à l'horizontale, entraînant ainsi un écoulement du produit depuis la surface de réception jusqu'à la surface d'application.
La forme concave de la surface d'application optimise à la fois la répartition du produit cosmétique sur cette surface d'application, ainsi que l'application du produit cosmétique sur la surface cible.
La combinaison de la forme concave de la surface d'application et de l'agencement respectif des surfaces de réception et d'application limite le phénomène d'écoulement du produit cosmétique dans la touffe de poils et améliore la répartition et le maintien du produit cosmétique sur la surface d'application lors de l'utilisation de l'applicateur.
De préférence, le doigt peut comprendre un matériau agencé pour maintenir sur la surface de réception un produit cosmétique fluide.
Ce matériau n'a pas besoin d'être totalement imperméable mais il devrait être choisi pour limiter ou empêcher la pénétration d'un produit cosmétique fluide dans le doigt, en particulier à travers sa surface de réception.
Ce matériau peut comprendre ou consister en du silicone et/ou un élastomère thermoplastique et/ou une mousse à cellules fermées et/ou un gel et/ou une éponge végétale ou synthétique et/ou du caoutchouc.
Un doigt comprenant un tel matériau améliore par conséquent le maintien du produit cosmétique sur la surface de réception, ce qui permet par exemple de stocker temporairement le produit cosmétique sur cette surface avant sa répartition sur la surface d'application. L'hygiène en est aussi améliorée puisqu'on évite ou limite ainsi la pénétration du produit cosmétique dans le doigt.
De préférence, l'intégralité du doigt peut être réalisée dans l'un des matériaux listés ci-dessus. Alternativement, une partie du doigt, incluant la surface de réception, peut être réalisée dans l'un de ces matériaux tandis qu'une autre partie du doigt peut être réalisée dans un autre de ces matériaux ou dans tout autre matériau. Dans un mode de réalisation, la surface de réception du doigt peut être placée en retrait de la surface d'application de manière à constituer un réceptacle. Autrement dit, la surface de réception du doigt et des poils adjacents au doigt peuvent former un réceptacle, ladite surface de réception constituant un fond de ce réceptacle, lesdits poils adjacents constituant des parois latérales de ce réceptacle.
Un tel réceptacle permet d'augmenter la quantité de produit recevable sur la surface de réception avant sa répartition sur la surface d'application.
Dans un mode de réalisation, l'applicateur peut comprendre un manche de préhension et un organe de maintien agencé pour solidariser le manche avec la touffe de poils et le doigt.
Dans ce dernier mode de réalisation, l'organe de maintien peut de préférence comprendre une virole. La touffe de poils peut alors être enserrée entre la virole et le doigt.

Dans la description qui suit, en référence au repère X-Y-Z des figures 1 à 4, on définit :
le haut de l'applicateur comme la partie de l'applicateur située suivant la direction Y vers le haut des figures ;
- le bas de l'applicateur comme la partie de l'applicateur située suivant la direction Y vers le bas des figures ;
l'avant de l'applicateur comme la partie de l'applicateur située suivant la direction X vers la droite de la figure 4 ;

L'applicateur comprend une touffe de poils 1 et un doigt 2.
En référence à la figure 3, la touffe de poils 1 est dans cet exemple enserrée entre une virole 3 et le doigt 2.
Dans cet exemple, la virole 3 constitue un organe de maintien agencé pour solidariser la touffe de poils 1 et le doigt 2 avec un manche de préhension 4.
Dans un mode de réalisation non représenté, la touffe de poils 1 et le doigt 2 peuvent être reliés à un manche de préhension de sorte que l'applicateur constitue un kabuki.
Les poils 1 de la touffe sont chacun dotés d'une extrémité libre. Dans les figures 1 à 4, l'extrémité libre des poils 1 est située vers le haut de l'applicateur.
Les extrémités libres des poils 1 forment une surface d'application SI permettant d'appliquer du produit cosmétique sur une surface cible (non représentée).
Comme cela ressort des figures 1 à 3, la surface d'application SI est concave.
En référence à la figure 3, le doigt 2 s'étend à travers la touffe de poils 2.
Le doigt 2 présente une surface de réception S2 de produit cosmétique.
La surface de réception S2 du doigt 2 communique avec la surface d'application SI de sorte que du produit cosmétique fluide reçu sur la surface de réception S2 puisse s'écouler de la surface de réception S2 à la surface d'application SI.
Pour ce faire, lors du dépôt du produit cosmétique sur la surface de réception S2, l'applicateur peut de préférence être positionné de sorte que cette surface de réception S2 soit horizontale ou sensiblement horizontale. L'écoulement du produit cosmétique de la surface de réception S2 à la surface d'application SI peut alors être obtenu par déplacement de l'applicateur de manière à incliner la surface de réception S2 par rapport à l'horizontale.
Dans un mode de réalisation non représenté, la surface de réception S2 du doigt 2 et la surface d'application SI de la touffe de poils 1 forment une surface commune. Autrement dit, le doigt 2 peut être agencé de sorte que sa surface de réception SI affleure la surface d'application SI de la touffe de poils 2 (non représenté).
Dans l'exemple de l'applicateur des figures 1 à 4, la surface de réception S2 est placée en retrait de la surface d'application SI de manière à constituer un réceptacle, ce qui permet d'augmenter la quantité de produit recevable sur la surface de réception S2.
Comme cela ressort des figures 1 à 3, ce réceptacle comprend, d'une part, un fond constitué par la surface de réception S2 du doigt 2 et, d'autre part, des parois latérales constituées par des poils 1 adjacents au doigt 2.
Dans cet exemple, la surface de réception S2 est parallèle ou sensiblement parallèle à la trajectoire définie par une portion de la surface d'application SI située dans le plan de coupe de la figure 3. Cette portion de la surface d'application SI située dans le plan de coupe de la figure 3 correspond dans cet exemple à un point d'inflexion de la surface d'application SI concave, ce qui permet d'optimiser la répartition du produit cosmétique sur la surface d'application SI lorsque le produit s'écoule de la surface de réception S2 à la surface d'application SI.
Dans des modes de réalisation non représentés, la surface de réception S2 et la surface d'application SI peuvent présenter des géométries différentes. L'invention requiert toutefois que ces surfaces communiquent entre elles de sorte qu'un produit cosmétique fluide reçu sur la surface de réception S2 puisse s'écouler de la surface de réception S2 à la surface d'application SI.
Il convient de préciser que la forme concave de la touffe de poils 1 est déterminante pour améliorer, par rapport à l'état de la technique antérieure, la répartition et le maintien du produit cosmétique sur la surface d'application SI lors de l'utilisation de cet applicateur.
En termes de matériau, les poils 1 peuvent être synthétiques ou naturels et il est préféré que le doigt 2 comprenne un matériau agencé pour maintenir sur la surface de réception un produit cosmétique fluide, c'est-à-dire au moins pendant une durée de quelques secondes qui correspond à la durée typique entre le dépôt du produit cosmétique sur la surface de réception S2, son écoulement sur la surface d'application SI et son application sur la surface cible.
Le matériau du doigt 2 n'a pas besoin d'être totalement imperméable mais il devrait être choisi pour limiter ou empêcher la pénétration d'un produit cosmétique fluide dans le doigt 2, en particulier à travers sa surface de réception S2, au moins pendant une telle durée.
On choisira de préférence de fabriquer le doigt 2, et en particulier au moins une partie du doigt 2 comprenant la surface de réception S2, avec du silicone, un élastomère thermoplastique, une mousse à cellules fermées, un gel, une éponge végétale ou synthétique, ou du caoutchouc.
Plusieurs techniques de fabrication d'un tel applicateur sont envisageables : le doigt 2 et la touffe de poils 1 peuvent être collés dans l'organe de maintien 3 (figure 3) ;
le doigt 2 et la touffe de poils 1 peuvent être assemblés à l'aide d'un insert (non représenté), par exemple en plastique, l'ensemble constitué par cet insert, le doigt 2 et la touffe de poils 1 pouvant ensuite être collé dans l'organe de maintien 3 (non représenté) ;
les poils 2 peuvent être collés ensemble en leur extrémité opposée à leur extrémité libre, la touffe de poils 1 peut ensuite être percée au niveau de l'extrémité collée de manière à insérer le doigt 2 dans la touffe de poils 1, puis l'ensemble constitué par la touffe de poils 1 et du doigt 2 ainsi inséré peut être collé dans l'organe de maintien 3.
Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limitée aux exemples qui viennent d'être décrits et de nombreux aménagements peuvent être apportés à ces exemples sans sortir du cadre de l'invention. Par exemple, le doigt 2 peut être positionné au centre de la touffe de poils 1 et/ou la surface de réception SI peut avoir une forme du type demi- sphérique (non représenté).

Applicateur de produit cosmétique comprenant une touffe de poils (1) dotés chacun d'une extrémité libre, les extrémités libres des poils (1) formant une surface d'application (SI) permettant d'appliquer du produit cosmétique sur une surface cible, caractérisé en ce que la surface d'application (SI) est concave et en ce qu'il comprend en outre un doigt (2) s'étendant à travers la touffe de poils (1) et présentant une surface de réception (S2) de produit cosmétique, la surface de réception (S2) communiquant avec la surface d'application (SI) de sorte que du produit cosmétique fluide reçu sur la surface de réception (S2) puisse s'écouler de la surface de réception (S2) à la surface d'application (SI).
2. Applicateur selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le doigt (2) comprend un matériau agencé pour maintenir sur la surface de réception (S2) un produit cosmétique fluide.
3. Applicateur selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel le doigt (2) comprend du silicone et/ou un élastomère thermoplastique et/ou une mousse à cellules fermées et/ou un gel et/ou une éponge végétale ou synthétique et/ou du caoutchouc.
4. Applicateur selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans lequel la surface de réception (S2) du doigt (2) et des poils (1) adjacents au doigt (2) forment un réceptacle, ladite surface de réception (S2) constituant un fond de ce réceptacle, lesdits poils (1) adjacents constituant des parois latérales de ce réceptacle.
5. Applicateur selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, comprenant un manche de préhension (4) et un organe de maintien (3) agencé pour solidariser le manche (4) avec la touffe de poils (1) et le doigt (2).
6. Applicateur selon la revendication s, dans lequel l'organe de maintien (3) comprend une virole, la touffe de poils (1) étant enserrée entre la virole et le doigt (2).
