- the hanger 16 comprises a casting forming a body portion 78 with an oversized through hole 80 centrally located between first 82 and second 84 bushing mounting surfaces.
- a transverse cross member 85 extends outward in opposite directions from one end of the body portion 78.

- a user may adjust the compression of the bushings 100, 102, 110, 112 against the mounting surfaces 60, 62, 82, 84, by tightening or loosening the kingpin nuts 98, 122, which in turn, limits the rotational movement of the caster arm 14 and hanger 16.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un bogie de planche à roulettes qui pivote autour de deux axes, un verrou coulissant étant destiné à bloquer le mouvement autour des premiers axes de sorte que le bogie fonctionne dans un mode parmi deux modes, soit comme un bogie de planche à roulettes classique ayant une stabilité latérale réglable, soit comme un bogie à roulettes orientables présentant une capacité de rotation améliorée, à l'aide de bagues de planche à roulettes classiques et de coupelles de pivot. Le bogie de planche à roulettes comprend un bras de roulettes orientables fixé pivotant à un plateau de planche à roulettes ayant un premier axe de pivotement de bogie de planche à roulettes. Le bogie comprend un axe porté par un élément transversal fixé pivotant au bras de roulettes orientables ayant un second axe de pivotement de bogie de planche à roulettes. Le bras de roulettes orientables et l'élément transversal sont accouplés l'un à l'autre pour fournir un pivotement réglable indépendamment du bogie de planche à roulettes autour de deux axes de liberté. Un moyen de verrouillage libérable empêche le bras de roulettes orientables de pivoter autour du premier axe de pivotement pour éventuellement fournir un pivotement classique du bogie de planche à roulettes autour d'un seul axe.
