Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an optical cable termination and / or splice box, commonly referred to as a "termination box”, to be commonly applied to fiber-optic networks called FTTH ("fiber to the home ”) to protect an optical splitter between a fiber optic from a boxed multi-fiber distribution cable and multiple optical drop cables, usually in the form of a compact cable (" low friction "), and / or optical fusion splices between one or more distribution cable optical fibers and a respective optical branch cable (multi-fiber optical cable).
