Description

重合性組成物の製造方法
 本開示は、眼鏡用レンズ等の光学部材に用いられる重合性組成物の製造方法、及び光学部材の製造方法に関する。
 樹脂製のレンズは、無機ガラス等の無機材料からなるレンズに比べて軽量で割れ難く、染色が可能であるという利点を有する。このため、現在、眼鏡レンズやカメラレンズ等の光学部材として、樹脂製のレンズが用いられることが主流となっている。
 特許文献1では、脈理や白濁を生じることなく、無色透明で歪みの無い高性能ポリウレタン系樹脂製光学材料を良好に製造できる方法として、水分の含有量が10~300ppmであることを特徴とする、ポリチオール化合物とポリイソ(チオ)シアナート化合物からなる重合性組成物を重合する光学材料用樹脂の製造方法が記載されている。

 特許文献1に示されるように重合性組成物の水分含有量を10~300ppmとすることで、脈理及び白濁が抑制されるが、重合性組成物の経時変化が顕著であり、重合性組成物の調合から数時間経過すると、光学部材の製造時に脈理が発生しやすくなるという問題を発見した。
 そこで、本開示の一実施形態は、調合後、長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生が抑制される、重合性組成物の製造方法、及び光学部材の製造方法に関する。
 本発明者は、光学部材の製造過程において、あらゆる原因を分析し、重合性組成物を調合する際に、ポリイソシアナート成分を含む、水分量の低い組成物を調製し、更にポリチオール成分を含む、水分量の低い組成物を調製した後に、これらを混合することで、上述の課題が解決されることを見出した。
 本開示の一実施形態は、
 ポリイソシアナート成分を含み、重合触媒を含まない、水分量200質量ppm以下の組成物Aを調製する工程(1)、
 ポリチオール成分を含む、水分量1000質量ppm以下の組成物Bを調製する工程(2)、及び
 組成物A及び組成物Bを混合し、重合性組成物を得る工程(3)、
を含む、重合性組成物の製造方法に関する。
 本開示の一実施形態は、
 上述の重合性組成物を成形型内に注入する工程、及び
 重合性組成物を重合する工程を含む、光学部材の製造方法に関する。
 本開示の一実施形態によれば、調合後、長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生が抑制される、重合性組成物の製造方法、及び光学部材の製造方法を提供することができる。
[重合性組成物の製造方法]
 本開示の一実施形態に係る重合性組成物の製造方法は、
 ポリイソシアナート成分を含み、重合触媒を含まない、水分量200質量ppm以下の組成物Aを調製する工程(1)、
 ポリチオール成分を含む、水分量1000質量ppm以下の組成物Bを調製する工程(2)、及び
 組成物A及び組成物Bを混合し、重合性組成物を得る工程(3)、
を含む。
 以上の構成を有することで、調合後、長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生が抑制される、重合性組成物の製造方法、及び光学部材の製造方法を提供することができる。
 これによりポリイソシアナート成分と水分が重合触媒の存在下で共存を回避し、ポリイソシアナートの水との反応を抑制することが可能となり、脈理への影響が大きい、アミンの生成を抑えることが可能となる。またこのことにより尿素の発生も抑えられ、クモリの低減も可能となる。
<工程(1)>
 工程(1)では、ポリイソシアナート成分を含み、重合触媒を含まない、水分量200質量ppm以下の組成物Aを調製する。当該工程を有することで、重合性組成物の調合後、長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生が抑制される重合性組成物が得られる。
 低減後の組成物Aの水分量は、より長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生を抑制する観点から、組成物Aに対して、好ましくは150質量ppm以下、より好ましくは100質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは80質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは40質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは30質量ppm以下である。
 組成物Aの水分量は、生産性の観点から、例えば、組成物Aに対して、1質量ppm以上であってもよく、5質量ppm以上であってもよい。
 なお、組成物Aの水分量の測定方法は、実施例に記載の方法による。
 「水分量200質量ppm以下の組成物Aを調製する」とは、手段によらず、水分量が所定の値以下となるように組成物Aが調製されていればよく、例えば、(i)組成物Aを減圧条件下で水分量を低減すること、又は、(ii)水分量の低いポリイソシアナート成分と添加剤を混合し、溶解させること、が含まれる。これらの中でも(i)が好ましい。
 (i)組成物Aを減圧条件下で水分量を低減する場合、圧力は、好ましくは1000Pa以下、より好ましくは800Pa以下、更に好ましく500Pa以下、更に好ましく300Pa以下であり、そして、好ましくは10Pa以上、より好ましくは50Pa以上、更に好ましくは100Pa以上である。
 (ii)水分量の低いポリイソシアナート成分と添加剤を混合し、溶解させる場合、ポリイソシアナート成分を予め減圧条件下に配して水分量を低減させる。その条件は、上述と同様である。(ii)の場合、添加する添加剤についても水分量を低減させたものを使用することが好ましい。
 なお、(ii)に示すように、予め水分量を低減したポリイソシアナート成分及び添加剤を使用した場合であっても、ポリイソシアナート成分と添加剤を混合した後に、更に(i)に示すように水分量を低減してもよい。
 工程(1)では、組成物Aの後述の各成分を添加して均一に溶解させることが好ましい。
〔組成物A〕
 組成物Aは、ポリイソシアナート成分を含み、重合触媒を含まない。重合触媒は、例えば後述の重合触媒である。
(ポリイソシアナート成分)
 ポリイソシアナート成分としては、例えば、芳香環を有するポリイソシアナート化合物、脂環式ポリイソシアナート化合物、直鎖又は分岐鎖の脂肪族ポリイソシアナート化合物が挙げられる。

 ポリイソシアナート成分は、
 好ましくは、2,5-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタン、2,6-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタン、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン、1,4-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン、ジシクロヘキシルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアナート、イソホロンジイソシアナート、及びヘキサメチレンジイソシアナートからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含み、
 より好ましくは、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアナート、及び1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含み、

 上述の好ましいポリイソシアナート成分の量は、ポリイソシアナート成分中、好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは70質量%以上、更に好ましくは90質量%以上、更に好ましくは95質量%以上であり、そして、100質量%以下である。
 組成物A中における、ポリイソシアナート成分の量は、好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは70質量%以上、更に好ましくは90質量%以上、更に好ましくは95質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは99.9質量%以下、より好ましくは99.5質量%以下、更に好ましくは99.0質量%以下である。
(離型剤)
 組成物Aは、ポリイソシアナート成分に加えて、好ましくは、離型剤を含む。組成物Aが離型剤を含むことで、ポリイソシアナート成分が安定化し、重合性組成物をより長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生を抑制することができる。
 離型剤としては、例えば、酸性リン酸アルキルエステル等の酸性リン酸エステルが挙げられる。酸性リン酸アルキルエステルのアルキル基の炭素数は、好ましくは1以上、より好ましくは4以上であり、そして、好ましくは20以下、より好ましくは12以下である。
 酸性リン酸エステルは、リン酸モノエステル、リン酸ジエステルのいずれであってもよいが、リン酸モノエステル、及びリン酸ジエステルの混合物が好ましい。
 酸性リン酸アルキルエステルとしては、例えば、イソプロピルアシッドフォスフェート、ブチルアシッドフォスフェート、オクチルアシッドフォスフェート、ノニルアシッドフォスフェート、デシルアシッドフォスフェート、イソデシルアシッドフォスフェート、トリデシルアシッドフォスフェート、ステアリルアシッドフォスフェート、プロピルフェニルアシッドフォスフェート、ブチルフェニルアシッドフォスフェート、ブトキシエチルアシッドフォスフェートが挙げられる。
 離型剤の添加量は、ポリチオール成分及びポリイソシアナート成分の合計量100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.01質量部以上、より好ましくは0.05質量部以上、更に好ましくは0.08質量部以上、更に好ましくは0.10質量部以上であり、そして、好ましくは1.00質量部以下、より好ましくは0.50質量部以下、更に好ましくは0.30質量部以下である。
(紫外線吸収剤)
 組成物Aは、ポリイソシアナート成分に加えて、好ましくは、紫外線吸収剤を含む。紫外線吸収剤が組成物Aに含まれることで溶解しやすくなる。
 紫外線吸収剤としては、例えば、ベンゾトリアゾール系化合物、ベンゾフェノン系化合物、ジベンゾイルメタン、ジベンゾイルメタン系化合物が挙げられる。これらの中でもベンゾトリアゾール系化合物、又はベンゾフェノン系化合物が好ましい。
 ベンゾトリアゾール系化合物としては、例えば、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-5-メチルフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-3,5-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)-5-クロロ-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(3-t-ブチル-2-ヒドロキシ-5-メチルフェニル)-5-クロロ-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-3,5-ジ-tert-アミルフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-3,5-ジ-tert-ブチルフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-5-tert-ブチルフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-5-オクチルフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-4-エチルオキシフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-4-プロピルオキシフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-4-オクチルオキシフェニル)-2H-ベンゾトリアゾール、2-(2-ヒドロキシ-4-オクチルオキシフェニル)-5-クロロ-2H-ベンゾトリアゾールが挙げられる。
 ベンゾフェノン系化合物としては、例えば、2,4-ジヒドロキシベンゾフェノン、2-ヒドロキシ-4-メトキシベンゾフェノン、2-ヒドロキシ-4-メトキシベンゾフェノン-5-スルホニックアシッド、2-ヒドロキシ-4-n-オクトキシベンゾフェノン、2-ヒドロキシ-4-n-ドデシルオキシベンゾフェノン、2-ヒドロキシ-4-ベンジルオキシベンゾフェノン、2,2’-ジヒドロキシ-4-メトキシベンゾフェノンが挙げられる。
 ジベンゾイルメタン系化合物としては、例えば、4-tert-ブチル-4’-メトキシジベンゾイルメタンが挙げられる。
 これらは、1種又は2種以上を用いてもよい。
 紫外線吸収剤の添加量は、ポリチオール成分及びポリイソシアナート成分の合計量100質量部に対し、好ましくは0.01質量部以上、より好ましくは0.10質量部以上、更に好ましくは0.30質量部以上、更に好ましくは0.40質量部以上であり、そして、好ましくは5質量部以下、より好ましくは3質量部以下、更に好ましくは2質量部以下である。
 組成物Aは、例えば、抗酸化剤、着色防止剤、蛍光増白剤等のその他の添加剤を含んでいてもよい。これらは、1種又は2種以上を用いてもよい。
<工程(2)>
 工程(2)では、ポリチオール成分を含む、水分量1000質量ppm以下の組成物Bを調製する。工程(1)と共に、当該工程を有することで、調合後、長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生が抑制される重合性組成物が得られる。
 当該工程(2)後の組成物Bの水分量は、長期間保存後の脈理の発生抑制の観点から、組成物Bに対して、好ましくは900質量ppm以下、より好ましくは800質量ppm以下、白濁の発生抑制の観点から、更に好ましくは600質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは500質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは300質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは100質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは50質量ppm以下である。
 組成物Bの水分量は、生産性の観点から、例えば、組成物Bに対して、1質量ppm以上であってもよく、5質量ppm以上であってもよい。
 なお、組成物Bの水分量の測定方法は、実施例に記載の方法による。
 組成物Bの調製は、特に限定されないが、例えば、上述の組成物Aと同様の方法により、調製することができる。調製する方法の中でも、上述の(i)が好ましい。
 工程(2)では、組成物Bの後述の各成分を添加して均一に溶解させることが好ましい。
〔組成物B〕
 組成物Bは、ポリチオール成分を含む。
(ポリチオール成分)
 ポリチオール成分としては、例えば、ポリオール化合物とメルカプト基含有カルボン酸化合物とのエステル化合物、直鎖又は分岐の脂肪族ポリチオール化合物、脂環構造を有するポリチオール化合物、芳香族ポリチオール化合物が挙げられる。
 ポリオール化合物とメルカプト基含有カルボン酸化合物とのエステル化合物において、ポリオール化合物としては、分子内に2個以上の水酸基を有する化合物が挙げられる。
 ポリオール化合物としては、例えば、エチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、プロパンジオール、プロパントリオール、ブタンジオール、トリメチロールプロパン、ビス(2-ヒドロキシエチル)ジスルフィド、ペンタエリスリトール、ジペンタエリスリトールが挙げられる。
 メルカプト基含有カルボン酸化合物としては、例えば、チオグリコール酸、メルカプトプロピオン酸、チオ乳酸化合物、チオサリチル酸が挙げられる。
 ポリオール化合物とメルカプト基含有カルボン酸化合物とのエステル化合物としては、例えば、エチレングリコールビス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、エチレングリコールビス(2-メルカプトプロピオネート)、ジエチレングリコールビス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、ジエチレングリコールビス(2-メルカプトプロピオネート)、1,4-ブタンジオールビス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、1,4-ブタンジオールビス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)、トリメチロールプロパントリス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、トリメチロールプロパントリス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(2-メルカプトプロピオネート)、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサキス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)が挙げられる。

 脂環構造を有するポリチオール化合物としては、例えば、1,1-シクロヘキサンジチオール、1,2-シクロヘキサンジチオール、メチルシクロヘキサンジチオール、ビス(メルカプトメチル)シクロヘキサン、2-(2,2-ビス(メルカプトメチルチオ)エチル)-1,3-ジチエタン、2,5-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-1,4-ジチアン、4,8-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-1,3-ジチアンが挙げられる。
 芳香族ポリチオール化合物としては、例えば、1,3-ジメルカプトベンゼン、1,4-ジメルカプトベンゼン、1,3-ビス(メルカプトメチル)ベンゼン、1,4-ビス(メルカプトメチル)ベンゼン、1,3-ビス(メルカプトエチル)ベンゼン、1,4-ビス(メルカプトエチル)ベンゼン、1,3,5-トリメルカプトベンゼン、1,3,5-トリス(メルカプトメチル)ベンゼン、1,3,5-トリス(メルカプトエチル)ベンゼン、4,4’-ジメルカプトビフェニル、4,4’-ジメルカプトビベンジル、2,5-トルエンジチオール、1,5-ナフタレンジチオール、2,6-ナフタレンジチオール、2,7-ナフタレンジチオール、2,4-ジメチルベンゼン-1,3-ジチオール、4,5-ジメチルベンゼン-1,3-ジチオール、9,10-アントラセンジメタンチオール、1,3-ジ(p-メチルオキシフェニル)プロパン-2,2-ジチオール、1,3-ジフェニルプロパン-2,2-ジチオール、フェニルメタン-1,1-ジチオール、2,4-ジ(p-メルカプトフェニル)ペンタンが挙げられる。

(重合触媒)
 組成物Bは、好ましくは重合触媒を含む。重合触媒が、組成物Aではなく、組成物Bに含まれることで、より顕著に、重合性組成物の調合後、長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生が抑制される。
 重合触媒としては、例えば、スズ化合物、含窒素化合物が挙げられる。
 スズ化合物としては、例えば、アルキルスズ化合物、アルキルスズハライド化合物が挙げられる。
 アルキルスズ化合物としては、例えば、ジブチルスズジアセテート、ジブチルスズジラウレートが挙げられる。
 アルキルスズハライド化合物としては、例えば、ジブチルスズジクロライド、ジメチルスズジクロライド、モノメチルスズトリクロライド、トリメチルスズクロライド、トリブチルスズクロライド、トリブチルスズフロライド、ジメチルスズジブロマイドが挙げられる。
 これらの中でも、ジブチルスズジアセテート、ジブチルスズジラウレート、ジブチルスズジクロライド、ジメチルスズジクロライドが好ましく、ジメチルスズジクロライドがより好ましい。
 含窒素化合物としては、例えば、3級アミン、4級アンモニウム塩、イミダゾール系化合物、ピラゾール系化合物が挙げられる。3級アミンは、好ましくはヒンダードアミンである。
 3級アミンとしては、例えば、トリエチルアミン、トリ-n-プロピルアミン、トリイソプロピルアミン、トリ-n-ブチルアミン、トリイソブチルアミン、N,N-ジメチルベンジルアミン、N-メチルモルホリン、N,N-ジメチルシクロヘキシルアミン、ペンタメチルジエチレントリアミン、ビス(2-ジメチルアミノエチル)エーテル、N-メチルモルホリン、N,N'-ジメチルピペラジン、N,N,N',N'-テトラメチルエチレンジアミン、1,4-ジアザビシクロ[2.2.2]オクタン(DABCO)が挙げられる。
 ヒンダードアミンとしては、例えば、1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ピペリジノール、1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ヒドロキシエチル-4-ピペリジノール、メチル-1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ピペリジルセバケート、メチル-1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ピペリジルセバケートとビス(1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ピペリジル)セバケートとの混合物、ビス(1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ピペリジル)セバケート、ビス(2,2,6,6-テトラメチル-1-(オクチルオキシ)-4-ピペリジル)セバケート、ビス(1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ピペリジル)[[3,5-ビス(1,1-ジメチルエチル)-4-ヒドロキシフェニル]メチル]ブチルマロネート、テトラキス(1,2,2,6,6-ペンタメチル-4-ピペリジル)ブタン-1,2,3,4-テトラカルボキシレートが挙げられる。
 4級アンモニウム塩としては、例えば、テトラエチルアンモニウムヒドロキシドが挙げられる。
 イミダゾール系化合物としては、例えば、イミダゾール、1,2-ジメチルイミダゾール、ベンジルメチルイミダゾール、2-エチル-4-イミダゾールが挙げられる。
 ピラゾール系化合物としては、例えば、ピラゾール、3,5-ジメチルピラゾールが挙げられる。
 これらの中でも、ヒンダードアミン等の3級アミン、イミダゾール系化合物、ピラゾール系化合物が好ましく、より好ましくはヒンダードアミンがより好ましい。
 重合触媒の添加量は、ポリチオール成分及びポリイソシアナート成分の合計量100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.001質量部以上、より好ましくは0.005質量部以上、更に好ましくは0.007質量部以上であり、そして、好ましくは2質量部以下、より好ましくは1質量部以下、更に好ましくは0.5質量部以下である。
<工程(3)>
 工程(3)では、組成物A及び組成物Bを混合し、重合性組成物を得る。
〔重合性組成物〕
 重合性組成物は、ポリチオール成分と、ポリイソシアナート成分とを含む。
 ポリチオール成分のメルカプト基と、ポリイソシアナート成分のイソシアナト基の当量比(メルカプト基/イソシアナト基)は、好ましくは40/60以上、より好ましくは43/57以上、更に好ましくは45/55以上であり、そして、好ましくは60/40以下、より好ましくは55/45以下、更に好ましくは53/47以下である。
 重合性組成物中における、ポリチオール成分とポリイソシアナート成分の総量は、好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは70質量%以上、更に好ましくは90質量%以上、更に好ましくは95質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは99.9質量%以下、より好ましくは99.6質量%以下である。
 重合性組成物において、ポリチオール成分とポリイソシアナート成分との好適な組み合わせとしては、例えば、
1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン、及び、4,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、4,8-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、及び5,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオールの混合物が挙げられる。
 重合性組成物の水分量は、白濁発生抑制の観点から、好ましくは800質量ppm以下、より好ましくは600質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは500質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは300質量ppm以下、更に好ましくは250質量ppm以下である。
 重合性組成物の水分量は、生産性の観点から、例えば、1質量ppm以上であってもよく、5質量ppm以上であってもよい。
 なお、重合性組成物の水分量の測定方法は、実施例に記載の方法による。
 重合性組成物は、脈理及び白濁の発生をより抑制する観点から、更に減圧条件に配してもよい。
 減圧条件における圧力は、好ましくは10Pa以上、より好ましくは50Pa以上、更に好ましくは100Pa以上であり、そして、好ましくは1000Pa以下、より好ましくは800Pa以下、更に好ましくは500Pa以下である。
[光学部材の製造方法]
 以下、本開示の一実施形態に係る光学部材の製造方法についてより詳細に説明する。
 本開示の一実施形態に係る光学部材の製造方法は、例えば、
 上述の重合性組成物を成形型内に注入する工程(以下、「注入工程」ともいう)、及び
 重合性組成物を重合する工程(以下、「重合工程」ともいう)
を含む。
<注入工程>
 注入工程では、例えば、得られた重合性組成物を成形型内に注入する。
 光学部材として眼鏡レンズを製造する場合、例えば、眼鏡レンズの両主面を形成する1対のモールドと、これらのモールドを離隔させて固定するテープ又はガスケットとを備える成形型が用いられる。なお上述のモールドは、ガラス製であっても、金属製であってもよい。
 成形型ヘの注入前に、重合性組成物を濾過してもよい。濾過方法は特に限定されないが、例えば、孔径1~30μmのフィルタを用いて濾過を行ってもよい。
<重合工程>
 重合工程においては、例えば、加熱により重合性組成物を重合する。
 重合条件は、重合性組成物、成形する光学部材の形状に応じて、適宜設定することができる。
 重合開始温度は、通常0~50℃、好ましくは5~30℃である。重合開始温度から昇温し、その後、加熱して硬化形成することが好ましい。例えば、昇温後の最高温度は、通常110~130℃である。重合開始から終了までの、重合時間は、例えば3~96時間である。
 重合終了後、光学部材を離型して、アニール処理を行ってもよい。アニール処理の温度は、好ましくは100~150℃である。
 上述の方法により、光学部材用樹脂が得られる。
[光学部材]
 光学部材としては、例えば、眼鏡レンズ、カメラレンズ、プリズム、光ファイバ、光ディスク若しくは磁気ディスク等に用いられる記録媒体用基板、コンピュータのディスプレイに付設する光学フィルタ等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、眼鏡レンズが好ましい。
 眼鏡レンズは、好ましくは、当該光学部材からなるレンズ基材(以下、「眼鏡用レンズ基材」ともいう)を備える。
 眼鏡用レンズ基材の表面形状は特に限定されず、平面、凸面、凹面等のいずれであってもよい。
 眼鏡用レンズ基材は、単焦点レンズ、多焦点レンズ、累進屈折力レンズ等のいずれであってもよい。例えば、一例として、累進屈折力レンズについては、通常、近用部領域(近用部)及び累進部領域(中間領域)が、下方領域に含まれ、遠用部領域(遠用部)が上方領域に含まれる。
 眼鏡用レンズ基材は、フィニッシュ型眼鏡用レンズ基材であってもセミフィニッシュ型眼鏡用レンズ基材であってもよい。
 眼鏡用レンズ基材の幾何学中心の厚さ及び直径は、特に限定されるものではないが、幾何学中心の厚さは通常0.8~30mm程度、直径は通常50~100mm程度である。
 眼鏡用レンズ基材の屈折率(n)は、例えば、1.53以上、1.55以上、1.58以上、1.60以上であり、例えば、1.75以下、1.70以下である。
 眼鏡レンズは、好ましくは眼鏡用レンズ基材及びその眼鏡用レンズ基材の表面に機能層を備える。
 機能層としては、例えば、ハードコート層、プライマー層、反射防止膜及び撥水膜からなる郡から選ばれる少なくとも1種が挙げられる。
 ハードコート層は、耐擦傷性向上のために設けられ、好ましくは有機ケイ素化合物、酸化スズ、酸化ケイ素、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化チタン等の微粒子状無機物を含有するコーティング液を塗工して形成することができる。
 プライマー層は、耐衝撃性を向上させるために設けられ、例えば、ポリウレタンを主成分とする。ここでポリウレタンの含有量は、プライマー層中、好ましくは50質量%以上である。
 反射防止膜としては、酸化ケイ素、二酸化チタン、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化タンタル等の無機物を積層した膜が挙げられる。
 撥水膜としては、フッ素原子を有する有機ケイ素化合物を用いて形成することができる。
[眼鏡]
 本発明の一実施形態に係る眼鏡は、眼鏡レンズと、この眼鏡レンズを取り付けたフレームとを有する。
 フレームとしては、例えば、一対のリムと、当該リム間に設けられたブリッチと、当該リムの片端に設けられた一対のテンプルとを有する。
 リムは、ハーフリムであってもよい。
 フレームとしては、いわゆるリムレスフレームであってもよい。この場合、眼鏡は、例えば、一対の眼鏡レンズと、当該眼鏡レンズ間に設けられたブリッチと、当該眼鏡レンズの片端に設けられた一対のテンプルとを有する。
 以下、本開示の実施形態に関して、具体的な実施例を示すが、本請求の範囲は、以下の実施例によって限定されるものではない。以下に記載の操作及び評価は、特記しない限り大気中室温下(20~25℃程度)で行った。また、以下に記載の「%」及び「部」は、特記しない限り質量基準である。
[測定方法]
<水分量>
 温度25℃、相対湿度6%以下の環境下としたグローブボックス内に、水分気化装置「ADP-611」(京都電子工業株式会社)に接続したカールフィッシャー水分計「MKC-610」(京都電子工業株式会社製)を配置した。当該水分気化装置及びカールフィッシャー水分計用いて、測定試料を投入せずに温度125℃にて20分間装置を運転し、カールフィッシャー水分計が示す数値を測定し、装置の運転を安定化させた。
 次に、測定試料をセッティングしていないトレイを水分気化装置に投入し、水分量測定を20分間実施し、ブランク値とした。
 続いて、測定試料をセッティングしたトレイを水分気化装置に投入し、水分量測定を20分間行い、測定試料の水分量測定値を得た。
 測定試料の水分量は、下記の式から算出した。
 水分量(質量ppm)=[測定物の水分量測定値-ブランク値]/測定試料の投入量
[評価方法]
<脈理>
 光源装置「オプティカルモデュレックスSX-UI251HQ」(ウシオ電機株式会社製)を用いて投影検査を行った。光源として高圧UVランプ「USH-102D」(ウシオ電機株式会社製)を用いて1mの距離に白色のスクリーンを設置し、被検樹脂を光源とスクリーンの間に挿入し、スクリーン上の投影像を観察し下記の基準により判定を行った。
  A : 投影像に線状の不整が全くないもの。
  B : 投影像に線状のごく薄い不整があるもの。
  C : 投影像に線状の薄い不整があるもの。
  D : 投影像に線状の濃い不整があるもの。(不合格)
  E : 投影像に線状の著しい不整があるもの。(不合格)
<白濁>
 暗箱内で蛍光燈下に眼鏡用レンズ基材の幾何学中心から直径30mm以内を目視で観察し、以下の基準により判定を行った。
  A : 樹脂に白濁がまったくないもの。
  B : 樹脂にごく薄い白濁があるもの。
  C : 樹脂に薄い白濁があるもの。
  D : 樹脂に濃い白濁があるもの。(不合格)
[眼鏡用レンズ基材の作製]
実施例1
(工程(1))
 1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン50.6部、離型剤としてブトキシエチルアシッドフォスフェート「JP-506H」(城北化学工業株式会社製)0.10部、紫外線吸収剤「シーソーブ701」(シプロ化成株式会社製)0.50部を混合し、溶解させると共に200Paの減圧条件下で脱気処理を1時間行った。
 脱気処理後の組成物Aの水分量は100ppmであった。
(工程(2))
 4,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、4,8-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、及び5,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオールの混合物49.4部に重合触媒としてジメチル錫ジクロライド0.010部を混合し、溶解させると共に200Paの減圧条件下で脱気処理を1時間行った。
 脱気処理後の組成物Bの水分量は800ppmであった。
(工程(3))
 工程(1)で得られた組成物A及び工程(2)で得られた組成物Bを混合し、均一な重合性組成物を得た。重合性組成物の水分量は450ppmであった。
 重合性組成物を孔径5.0μmのポリテトラフルオロエチレン(以下、「PTFE」ともいう)フィルタにてろ過を行った。
 なお、上記各工程は液温10℃で実施した。
(注入工程)
 ろ過後の重合性組成物を、直径75mm、-4.00Dのガラスモールドとテープからなる成形型に注入した。注入は重合性組成物調製完了直後、3時間後、5時間後に行った。なお、重合性組成物はその間、10℃で保管を行った。
(重合工程、アニーリング)
 上記成形型を電気炉に投入し、15℃から120℃まで20時間かけて徐々に昇温し、2時間保持して重合(硬化反応)させた。重合終了後、電気炉から成形型を取り出し、離型して硬化物(ポリチオウレタン系樹脂製眼鏡用レンズ基材)を得た。得られた眼鏡用レンズ基材を更に炉内温度120℃のアニール炉において3時間アニールを行った。そして、上述の脈理及び白濁の評価を行い、その結果を表1に示した。
実施例2~5
 各工程後の水分量が表1に記載の量とした以外は実施例1と同様にレンズを作製した。
比較例1
 1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン50.6部、離型剤としてブトキシエチルアシッドフォスフェート「JP-506H」(城北化学工業株式会社製)0.10部、紫外線吸収剤「シーソーブ701」(シプロ化成株式会社製)0.50部を混合し、溶解させた。この組成物の水分量は240ppmであった。
 更に、4,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、4,8-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、及び5,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオールの混合物49.4部(水分量1100質量ppm)、重合触媒としてジメチル錫ジクロライド0.010部(水分量1000質量ppm)を混合して、前述の組成物に添加混合し、混合液とした。この重合性組成物を200Paの減圧条件下で1時間、脱気処理を行った後、孔径5.0μmのPTFEフィルタにてろ過を行った。調合後の重合性組成物の水分量は450質量ppmであった。なお、上記混合、溶解は液温10℃で実施した。
 注入工程以降は、実施例1と同様にして眼鏡用レンズ基材を得た。
比較例2~3
 脱気前のイソシアナート化合物およびチオール化合物の水分量が表1記載の量であり、調合後脱気処理の時間を調整し、重合性組成物の水分量を表1に記載の量とした以外は、比較例1と同様に眼鏡用レンズ基材を作製した。
比較例4
 重合触媒としてジメチル錫ジクロライド0.010部も他の添加剤と同様に組成物Aに溶解させ、4,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、4,8-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオール、及び5,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチアウンデカン-1,11-ジチオールの混合物には溶解させなかったこと以外は実施例3と同様にレンズを作製した。
 各溶液の水分量は表1に記載の通りであった。

 以上、実施例及び比較例の結果から、組成物A及び組成物Bの水分量を所定値以下とすることで、調合後、長期時間保存しても脈理の発生が少なくなることがわかる。
 特に組成物Aの水分量を低減することで、調合後、長期時間保存しても脈理の発生を特に抑制することができる。
 また、重合触媒は、工程(2)において添加されることで、調合後、長期時間保存しても脈理の発生を特に顕著に抑制することができる。
 なお、重合性組成物全体の水分量を低減することで、白濁が抑制されることがわかる。
 最後に、本開示の実施の形態を総括する。
 本開示の一実施の形態は、
 ポリイソシアナート成分を含み、重合触媒を含まない、水分量200質量ppm以下の組成物Aを調製する工程(1)、
 ポリチオール成分を含む、水分量1000質量ppm以下の組成物Bを調製する工程(2)、及び
 組成物A及び組成物Bを混合し、重合性組成物を得る工程(3)、
を含む、重合性組成物の製造方法に関する。
 また、本開示の一実施形態は、
 上述の重合性組成物を成形型内に注入する工程、及び
 重合性組成物を重合する工程を含む、光学部材の製造方法に関する。
 以上の構成を有することで、調合後、長期間保存しても光学部材を得る際の脈理の発生が抑制される、重合性組成物の製造方法、及び光学部材の製造方法を提供することができる。
 今回開示された実施の形態はすべての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。本発明の範囲は上記した説明ではなくて請求の範囲によって示され、請求の範囲と均等の意味及び範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。

Claims (12)

  1.  ポリイソシアナート成分を含み、重合触媒を含まない、水分量200質量ppm以下の組成物Aを調製する工程(1)、
     ポリチオール成分を含む、水分量1000質量ppm以下の組成物Bを調製する工程(2)、及び
     前記組成物A及び前記組成物Bを混合し、重合性組成物を得る工程(3)、
    を含む、重合性組成物の製造方法。
  2.  前記工程(1)において、前記組成物Aの水分量が40質量ppm以下である、請求項1に記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  3.  工程(1)において、減圧条件下で水分量を低減する、請求項1又は2に記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  4.  工程(2)において、減圧条件下で水分量を低減する、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  5.  前記組成物Aが、離型剤を更に含む、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  6.  前記組成物Bが、重合触媒を更に含む、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  7.  前記組成物Aが、紫外線吸収剤を更に含む、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  8.  前記重合性組成物の水分量が、300質量ppm以下である、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  9.  前記ポリチオール成分が、2,5-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-1,4-ジチアン、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、ペンタエリスリトールテトラキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)、4-メルカプトメチル-1,8-ジメルカプト-3,6-ジチアオクタン、4,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチア-1,11-ウンデカンジチオール、4,8-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチア-1,11-ウンデカンジチオール、5,7-ビス(メルカプトメチル)-3,6,9-トリチア-1,11-ウンデカンジチオール、トリメチロールプロパントリス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、トリメチロールプロパントリス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)、ブタンジオールビス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、ブタンジオールビス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサキス(2-メルカプトアセテート)、及びジペンタエリスリトールヘキサキス(3-メルカプトプロピオネート)からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  10.  前記ポリイソシアナート成分が、2,5-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタン、2,6-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタン、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,4-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン、1,4-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン、ジシクロヘキシルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアナート、イソホロンジイソシアナート、及びヘキサメチレンジイソシアナートからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の重合性組成物の製造方法。
  11.  請求項1~10のいずれかに記載の製造方法により得られた重合性組成物を成形型内に注入する工程、及び
     前記重合性組成物を重合する工程を含む、光学部材の製造方法。
  12.  前記光学部材が眼鏡用レンズ基材である、請求項11に記載の光学部材の製造方法。
